Don't worry Kate.. they have to get through me... Because...

Fockers... V and Company....

I HAVE NEVER WATCHED THE SHOW EITHER

Caught up but too pooped to reply to all. Sorry girls. I've been at a PTA luncheon and ran errands today. I need to produce a card tonight and figure out my ADR's for Nov. My window is opening up tomorrow. It is going to be a difficult task, considering there are no park hours posted for Nov. yet. YIKEs!:furious:
:furious:

BTW... The people we were renting points from for cancelled on us. We were needing one more night in the middle of our trip. They were not comfortable that we were going to get it, so they cancelled. Apparently there is nothing open that week anywhere for a studio or a one bedroom. :confused3 Now we are booked at the POP for all 10 nights :( and we are hoping to move to the POLY for the last half. I'm crossing my fingers for a code!

Thanks for all the congrats! :hug: We're so grateful. Two of her friends didn't make it. :worried:

That's a shame. I hope that doesn't keep Baylie from sticking with it:thumbsup2

COLOR="Green"]:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
That's so not me!!!
When we talked about whales we talked about how they can hear 2000 miles away. So, I told the kids that if your fart in the ocean, whales 2000 miles away would be giggling. :rotfl2: It may be obnoxious, but you can bet my kids remember that to this day! :thumbsup2
:rotfl:

No, I said I wished I was blue-skinned with blonde hair! :rotfl2:

:lmao:

Today was the last day of the school year for my boys. :yay: They'll still do stuff over the summer, but we are more flexible until August. Now to clean out the school room and closet and start thinking about next year. Dawn, do you school year round or stick to the 180 days?

You homeschool Kate...Why did I not know this:confused3

Yay! Leo's last day of Kindergarten is tomorrow!

Yeah, Leo...DO they have a graduation for them? Jimmy is having one for Pre-School:sad2:

Dude, you should go to a 7:00 show and we can text! :rotfl:
Can you imagine??!! :lmao:

Yay! Leo's last day of Kindergarten is tomorrow!
Geeze, already?? That was fast. So did he love kinder? Wish him a happy last day for us! :hug: Maddies got 3 weeks yet! :woohoo: Yes, I am happy about that. Heh heh heh.
Just so everyone knows. Jo is alive and well. Can't DIs from her dad's, but she did send me an email. She said she will be home tomorrow.:thumbsup2

Whateverrrrrr! I didn't get an email. :snooty:

/
Janet, I love the POP too. But I am not sure how well my family will do there for 9 nights in one room. :confused3 My hubby is a snorer and those rooms are small. I will make due, as long as I can get the POLY at the end of the trip. :thumbsup2

So how do you get so lucky to get an email from JoJo? Are you her favorite?:)

Do you all remember the afterschool specials. I used to love those! crap... still probably would.:lmao:

Just dropping in to say that
Baylie made the team!!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Do you like the team colors (lime and teal) :banana:

CONGRATS!!!!!!!

I probably won't be seeing it in the theaters either, Lessa. Although I love, love, love, SATC, I've no viewing buddy. :worried:

I am dragging my friend Diana. I copied her the entire show on DVD and she has yet to watch it, but she wants to see the movie. She is even calling in sick to work! I'm such a bad influence.

That stinks!!!!!!! I assume you had a contract with them and got your $ back right???

That's true. We had 3 in the room last year and it wasn't too bad (DS was only 4), but this year we have our 14 year old nephew with us, so it will be interesting.

how do you get so lucky to get an email from JoJo? Are you her favorite?:)

But of course:3dglasses

you all remember the afterschool specials. I used to love those! crap... still probably would.:lmao:

I do...they came on right after General Hospital:thumbsup2 Loved them.

Kat- They had been holding it without money, until all of our days came through. We rented from them before and they are a great couple. I understand their need to cancel. I am just bummed since we booked 10 months out.

You seem like a Wonder Woman underoos kinda chic to me, CE. ;)

::yes:: See, we're destined to be friends. :hug:

I think I am the only person here not planning on see SATC in the theatres. Ticket prices are just so expensive and it is not exactly the type of movie that begs to be seen on the big screen. So I'll be waiting to see it on DVD, I am sure it won't take long to come out.

I probably won't see it in theatre, either. I watched the first season or two of the show, then the last, but I wasn't a "true" fan. I liked it, but the timing was bad for a "one TV" family. :confused3

Just dropping in to say that
Baylie made the team!!!
WTG Baylie!!! :banana:

I hope you have an international plan on your cell phone:laughing:

Yes, well...

I think mine will work but don't want to think about the cost. D's, however, of course is international. He can deal with it. :rolleyes:

Yay! Leo's last day of Kindergarten is tomorrow!

Sorry, V, really hating you now. ;) I just got official word - last day of school is 6/24 (due to the *$%&%*&^@ snow days...) We start again 8/27. That is NOT enough summer. :headache:

BTW... The people we were renting points from for cancelled on us. We were needing one more night in the middle of our trip. They were not comfortable that we were going to get it, so they cancelled. Me, neither. Guess we know where WE stand. :mad: :rotfl2:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK, small vent: *you know I can't be brief, right?? :rotfl2:
I know that my kids are not, by any measure, perfect. BUT...
They listen to adults.
We had t-ball practice tonight. Some (rather annoying, frankly) mom had mentioned that we needed more "organization" when it came to the batting order. So, she was put in charge. ;) I have been helping her quite a bit at the games.
But, they had just a practice tonight - however, there is another t-ball field immediately adjacent, and the coaches of our team and the one that practices at the same time on Thurs. are friends. So, they've decided that the last 1/2 hour of Th. practices will be a "one inning practice game" every week.
OK, but this is kind of late on a school night. The kids are NOT focused at this point at all...
I like the coach, just not sure about this idea. :(
Anyway, tonight the volunteer :rolleyes1 mom was trying to organize the kids for the one-inning game. Two in particular are ALWAYS problem children when it comes to listening, but one tonight starting calling her names, yelling at her, etc. His dad just SAT. Pissed me off entirely.
I mean, it WAS just practice, but I knew what MY kids were doing. He really should have seen there was a problem, as the kid was throwing a fit. Wouldn't you come see what was up? I mean, hey, I might even think that the other mom was causing the problem (at first) and at least check it out. GRRRR. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't love this other mom, (she makes a BIG deal out of "her job" on the team) but she didn't deserve this. I would never, ever, allow my kid to talk to someone that way.
The kid had already had an "issue" whilst playing in the field about not staying in position and grabbing the ball out of other people's hands. They were all a little bored, I know - why I don't think the "game" is a good idea this time of night - but again, just not listening and the parent did nothing. :(
I also DO think that the coach should be a little more "take charge" but I know him well enough (he has twin boys, one in each of my kids' classes) that he just wants everyone to be happy and have fun. A noble idea, but sometimes you have to be the hard-***, if you KWIM.
Ah, well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

D got packed up as he leaves very early tomorrow morning. He had at one point volunteered to take my luggage on their plane, so I wouldn't have to deal, but upon further thought realized that it would be hard to get it from his plane to the hotel in the taxi for the crew. ;) I had planned on taking it myself, so no problem, but it's kind of too bad. :confused3
We have one entire duffel full of shoes for both of us. :lmao: He IS taking that.

At any rate, for a bit since I thought he was taking my bag in the morning, it forced me to pack, so I'm actually mostly ready except for toiletries! :thumbsup2

I have an eyebrow wax appointment in the morning :laughing: and then I'm taking the van in to have the tire pressure system reset - a leftover problem from getting the flat tire fixed but not leaving the van in the shop back a couple of weeks ago. :headache:

I'll probably swing by at some point, but in the meantime, Happy Friday! :grouphug:

Jimmy has gone past the Wiggles, but he still likes Blues CLues and Dragon Tales. He was not a big Barney or Sesame Street fan.

:headache: the wiggles. my kids all loved teletubbies. my 2yr old is still watching it!! has anyone ever heard of ****ah? it's kinda teletubbyish, i swear they're :smokin: :rotfl2:
Conjunction Junction was my favorite.

mine too!!!

Thanks! Yes---party went well---worked my rear off (well, not literally unfortunately), but everyone had a good time! My brother brought his new puppy so we had 3 dogs, 1 angry cat, 7 kids, and a bunch of adults from 35-89! :faint:

wholly moly!!!!! :worship:

Anybody else excited for Lost tonight?

i'm actually recording it bc i have to work!!! but i can't wait..:yay:

Lousy day today..it's nice out but I'm feeling all blah. KC went to the movie(which BTW is a political type of movie), I didn't get enough sleep so I stayed home. Then the mouse on the PC won't work so I started frantically cleaning for something to do! My house is getting sparkly...But KC brought me home some Chai Latte and now I am going to catch up on my other threads...
Happy Thursday...One more day till SATC!!!!!!

happy friday now!!

ITA - of course, they're are tons of Disney cartoons that make me thing the same thing about them. Hello?? Alice and the Cheshire Cat.... Winnie the Pooh ride (heffalump scene) and someone was seriously playing frisbee when the built Space Mountain... the FL version, that is.

ohhhhhh, frisbee, i get it now!!!! a little slow today!! :rotfl2:

(Donning flame retardant suit)....I've never even seen the show.

okay, have to admit , me neither!!! :confused3

Just dropping in to say that
Baylie made the team!!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Do you like the team colors (lime and teal)
Thanks for all the congrats! We're so grateful. Two of her friends didn't make it. :worried:

i completely agree with you !! there is no excuse for the behavior of the child nor the parent. :mad:

-----------------------------------------------------------

night, or morning all. i guess it depends on how you look at it!! i'm at work right now. so that means i didn't get to watch lost :mad:
but it's okay , i recorded it , just don't know when i'll have time .

okay, i just have to share. .... my ds (2) is autistic, so just recently started speaking some words. can say about 10 words now since started ot. well, he was playing with my older son (9) today and said, give me ball. this is just a huge leap for him!!!!! just had to share, i was soooo excited.

hope everyone has a good friday... i work 4 nights in a row :eek: , so hopefully i can chat or keep up ;) while at work.

okay , i'm just cracking up bc i just got censored!!!!! for a kid's show!!!!! preschool show at that!!!!!!!! the show is called boo--- bah. it's spelled one word, but when i typed it i guess they thought i was typing...... jugs!!!! sorry. first slang word that came to mind!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Morning Fockers!

I was laughing about the censoring too Rachel! HA! :rotfl:

CE: Are you getting excited!? :confused3 Wow, it's gonna be so much fun! And I do totally agree with you on the Tball sitch. Some people! :furious:

Jo did not email me either. That Janet. She's everyone's favorite!! :laughing: Tell the truth Janet....are you bribing her with American junk food?

Mel:banana:

I think mine will work but don't want to think about the cost. D's, however, of course is international. He can deal with it. :rolleyes:

Are the kids ok with you leaving?

Sorry, V, really hating you now. ;) I just got official word - last day of school is 6/24 (due to the *$%&%*&^@ snow days...) We start again 8/27. That is NOT enough summer. :headache:

Wow CE. I thought Jim got done late. His last day is the 20th, but he deosn't go back until after labor day. What are your DIsney dates again? You are only going to have a couple of days to get them ready for school?

Me, neither. Guess we know where WE stand. :mad: :rotfl2:

Jo loves me best::yes::

OK, small vent: *you know I can't be brief, right?? :rotfl2:

I did read the whole thing..just to long to quote;)

I absolutely would have been up there finding out why my kids was acting that way. I just don't get some people :sad2:

okay , i'm just cracking up bc i just got censored!!!!! for a kid's show!!!!! preschool show at that!!!!!!!! the show is called boo--- bah. it's spelled one word, but when i typed it i guess they thought i was typing...... jugs!!!! sorry. first slang word that came to mind!!! :lmao: :lmao:

I saw the *****:rotfl2: But to answer your question, Jimmy saw that show a couple of times and liked it...mommy not so much. The people who make that show doing more than playing frisbee:eek:

Jo did not email me either. That Janet. She's everyone's favorite!! :laughing: Tell the truth Janet....are you bribing her with American junk food?

I believe her favorits are Milk Duds:smokin:

:flower3:
At least I knew you'd be stunned, and a bit ashamed, and would, perhaps, disown me. That's got to count for something, right? ;)
Absolutely! :hug:

But I'm still gonna have to work on those DVDs. ;)
BTW, DH brought me home a very cute t-shirt from school last weekend. And a sticker for the new car :thumbsup2
SWEET! If you can believe it, no one sells UF stuff around here, so I have to mail-order. :sad2: I was hoping to take in a game at the Swamp this year - maybe even with Leo - but it's not looking good.

Fockers... V and Company....

I HAVE NEVER WATCHED THE SHOW EITHER
:faint: You people are killin' me! :rotfl:

Darn! Yeah, that's pretty much teh busiest time for DVC ressies. But I almost always see general public promotions for the resorts then! :thumbsup2 Are you guys getting APs?
Yeah, Leo...DO they have a graduation for them? Jimmy is having one for Pre-School:sad2:
Nope, just a picnic after school today. His dad's taking him, as I have other plans. ;)

Geeze, already?? That was fast. So did he love kinder? Wish him a happy last day for us! :hug: Maddies got 3 weeks yet! :woohoo: Yes, I am happy about that. Heh heh heh.
:rotfl2: Yep, they moved the "last day" up a week.... two weeks ago. :headache:
Sorry, V, really hating you now. ;) I just got official word - last day of school is 6/24 (due to the *$%&%*&^@ snow days...) We start again 8/27. That is NOT enough summer. :headache:
I'm sorry :hug: If it helps, his last day next year will be 6/5 and he starts back 8/18.
the team) but she didn't deserve this. I would never, ever, allow my kid to talk to someone that way.
I'll probably swing by at some point, but in the meantime, Happy Friday! :grouphug:
I'll be tied up this afternoon, so if I don't get another chance... BON VOYAGE MON AMI!!!
has anyone ever heard of ****ah? it's kinda teletubbyish, i swear they're :smokin: :rotfl2:
Yep, it came out here just as Leo was coming out of that age. The creators were DEFINITELY playing frisbee. :smokin:
okay, i just have to share. .... my ds (2) is autistic, so just recently started speaking some words. can say about 10 words now since started ot. well, he was playing with my older son (9) today and said, give me ball. this is just a huge leap for him!!!!! just had to share, i was soooo excited.

It was a LONG WINTER Wasn't.
The kids here get 76 days of Summer break and we had NO SNOW DAYS..to use.
However since we did miss 3 days that they did not have to make up.. Roanoke County was not FORCED by the State to start after Labor Day.
If we do not miss any days.. the State could come in and make them start after Labor day but if we then got Walloped by a bad winter we would be going till the end of June. Not sure which is the lesser of two evils :confused

Some Parents do not discipline, some do not think their MONSTERS are doing anything wrong because they are their kid. Still others say let the coach/teacher handle it till they come down on THEIR KID then OUT OF THERE THEY COME.

Lost of defined and fine lines there. The coach should have tried and the parent should have stepped up and been a DAD not a father... there is difference.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
D got packed up as he leaves very early tomorrow morning. He had at one point volunteered to take my luggage on their plane, so I wouldn't have to deal, but upon further thought realized that it would be hard to get it from his plane to the hotel in the taxi for the crew. ;) I had planned on taking it myself, so no problem, but it's kind of too bad. :confused3
We have one entire duffel full of shoes for both of us. :lmao: He IS taking that.
That reminded me.. what about those new luggage fees :scared1: OUCH!!
Delta ( and most carriers)asking for $25.00 for the second checked bag.. and $85.00 per bag if you have 3-5. This all started Yesterday. We usually have a total of 5 bags checked.. me having 2 everyone else having 1.. so I am trying to figure out what I am gonna juggle and take "Carry-On". I have to check the "overnight bag" that has the hairsprays, makeup, hair gel etc.
And the Sara's bag is I think JUST over the size for Carry on.:headache:
If the flight had not been almost free ( 100.00 for all of us) We might have driven. So I am trying to find a way to NOT PAY THAT $25.00 fee for one extra bag... am I cheap or what.
:headache: the wiggles. my kids all loved teletubbies. my 2yr old is still watching it!! has anyone ever heard of ****ah? it's kinda teletubbyish, i swear they're :smokin: :rotfl2:
I hate B O O B A H :headache: Very Tellytubby.. But the "Wiggles".. here is a funny story. One of Sara's friends Mom had tickets for the "Wiggles" Now Sara and Emma are both 9-10. Too old for "Wiggles" as Sara said... "No self-respecting kid past the age of 7 would be caught DEAD THERE":rotfl2:
Maybe not a Kid... But Emma's Mom... WENT.. ALONE. :eek: I have suspicions.. maybe she has a crush on Mr Yellow Shirt :lmao: Something is just not right there.
:
I think Joshua was close to that. But his first real sentence came on Christmas morning 1997 (age 3) when he said "I got A Vaca". ( yes I had the camcorder going so I got it.) He had gotten a Red Dirt Devil vacuum like Mommy had) I was so excited that that un prompted sentence.
But my favorite will ALWAYS be "I LOVE YOU".. Nope... not said to me, said to his NEW BORN BABY SISTER on his first visit to see her in the hospital. He had just turned 4.. and it was not said correctly,( sounded like "I ya you") but I JUST CRIED.. and YES CAMCORDER WAS RUNNING.
Morning Fockers!
Jo did not email me either. That Janet. She's everyone's favorite!! :laughing: Tell the truth Janet....are you bribing her with American junk food?
Mel:banana:
Me neither Mel. I know she has my e-mail address. I thought I had hers saved but I did not. So when I deleated an e-mail from her.. I also lost her Address :headache:
Wonder what Janet did do :rolleyes1
OK, look I DID NOT bribe, browbeat or threaten Jo to send me an email. Just becasue she likes me better han all of you is no need to start "talking" about me. Lime green is cool, but pea green is :sick: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rachel - I forgot to give you a :hug: about DS. That is so exciting:banana:
