Ummm.... good question! Seriously, one is a culminating project for Renaissance Art and I still haven't narrowed down a thesis statement. The other one is on art theory.

Sheesh - I can't keep up this week!

I've spent all week going crazy, trying to figure out summer vacations and camp for Leo. Late in the game, you say? And so say I. His school, when I asked back in March, assured me that they'd have some form of camp this summer, though they weren't sure at that time how it would look. They also told me the last day for Kindersgartners would be June 6.

This past Mon., I got a note telling about summer camp, which starts on June 9 and ends Aug. 8. I received another note letting me know that Kindergarten will end May 30.


That's right, they moved the last day up a week with only 2 weeks notice, AND aren't providing any care during that week! I about flipped, since I had to work out summer vacation dates with my ex back in April and it's too late to get Leo registered at the city camps (they fill up wihtin a week of registration at the end of March.) His school will allow him to hang out that first week in June...

But camp ends a week before school starts in Aug.! No one warned me of that. And no other camps are open during that week. So, I've canceled my vacation to Buffalo in order to have enough hours available to cover Leo's time off in Aug. and winter break.

The good news is, Leo's going to Horse Camp for 2 weeks in July and I'm taking a couple hours off each day so we'll have some time together, too! He's very excited - he'll learn how to care for horses, take riding lessons, and get some swimming lessons, to boot.

I'll be spending this holiday weekend chained to the laptop - 2 papers due next week.

I just don't get it. The school Jimmy will be going to next year is done school on June 6th. NONE of the camps start until the 16th. My girlfriend is stuck for that week in June. The camp is done August 8th. Jim is going to have her 2 kids for the week between school ending and us leaving for FLA. I don't know what I am going to do next year.

Pretty much got the pc working, its gonna take me all day to get my stuff set up again but it's working so YAY for that!

This morning at about 7 am my cat decided to make the house a litter box... and track pee pee paws from one end of the couch and then all over the bed...Now I have to change the sheets and clean the slipcover. I was livid. It also killed my sleep...so I didn't really get much. Not going into the city today, just too tired. I think I may suggest going to the diner for dinner when KC gets home.

I need to do some planning for August, get my park hours together and such.

I also need to pick up a package at the post office that they can't seem to deliver...if it wasn't a block away I would be mighty peeved that I keep having to go there to get my stuff.

Anyways...what's every one else doing for the weekend??

I'll prob pop in from time to time before KC gets home. Have a good one all!

Mel- Congrats on making enough for your airfare. I agree, there must be a rejuvenation of PokeMon. All of my ds's K class is really into them. I have got to find a good garage sale with them.


V- I have never heard of a school changing there end date for the year. What reason did they give you? Most childcare programs through our school districts begin full time care the after school ends, if not the following week if school ends on a Thursday as it will this year for us.

Kat- Is there something that prompted your kitty to wee wee all over? Our cat gets prompted by a vagrant cat who hoodlums the neighborhood.

Jen- Yea for 6th grad graduation. You will be fine. Even if the tears come, they are tears of love.

Happy Friday Fockers!! Can I get a Whoo Hooty for the 3 day weekend?!?!

I went to the gyno today. Got all purtied up. Washed, shaved and pampered myself in all the right spots. A friend watched Tink for me, so I didn't have a little trouble whilst I was in a bad position. When I got there and check in, the lady told me I didn't have an appt She looked me up and I do have one next Wednesday. I got all gyno-gized and I didn't even need to! I just made the appt on Monday. The appt making lady told me I was in luck that there was a Thursday opening this week. Not sure what she was smokin.

Thank god I'm not the only OCD person who gets "purtied" up for the gyno!

Ya know Janet you could always just renew your wedding vows and get married again. There's this Spanish talk show host that gets remarried every year in Disney.

That's what I told Andy - next year is our 15th anniversary and I wanna get our vows renewed in Morocco!

Well I won my golf match it was quite close and we both played really well I didn't use my new driver until the match was over and when I did hit it the ball went loads further so it looks like it was a good buy

D ran down to work, but he's coming back early in the p.m. and we're going to try to hit a matinee of Prince Caspian. I think we'll go to the "cinema pub" that's around here - they have a full menu (and bar ) and old limo seats around tables. It's pretty cool, and it won't be as crowded, I hope, if we can get there early. I just don't want to deal with the lines for Indy (which I want to see, but feel the boys can't.)

That's funny, CE. I"m the opposite - I think Prince Caspian might be too much for Maddie, but I know she can handle Indy.

Oh - and thanks to all who agreed that I'm not a bad mom.

Nothing new here, except the crappy weather! We had a crazy storm yesterday with tornados touching down in some communities just east of us. We did get some nasty winds and lots of hail. My poor kidlets were scared outta their minds by the thunder and lightening! My internet keep going out and I finally just gave up and turned the flippin' thing off!

Nothing new here, except the crappy weather! We had a crazy storm yesterday with tornados touching down in some communities just east of us. We did get some nasty winds and lots of hail. My poor kidlets were scared outta their minds by the thunder and lightening! My internet keep going out and I finally just gave up and turned the flippin' thing off!

Poor little things, does it get bad near you? The only thing I've seen is stuff on TV like the recent Desperate HW's

He didn't actually pee all over just tracked it from the box all over his paws. It was weird. He is not the best at covering his "bizness" but doesn't track it like that...i dunno what his problem is! LOL. he seems fine tho, at least.

I seem to find myself by myself! BA went to a soccer game, Ab went on her first double date (sniff/sniff/stress), and DH is working of course.....
So I'm making a thin spinach pizza and DISing a bit!

MizD---so how long will it be till you get your whole furniture set?? Mine is coming tomorrow "between 12-2" which since I live way out in the sticks, means around 5.
They already told me that one of the entertainment center pieces was damaged and they have ordered me another one---which is good, except that means another day of waiting and taking everything back down. I'll be glad to see it all come together tho. I LOVE the reclining sofas!

V---Leo could come to horse and goat camp here!

BA got her summer application for 4-H camp today (where she won Outstanding Camper last year---mommy brag note 101), and she has to pick 3 classes. She thought it was funny that the Horsemanship class said "do NOT enroll if you own your own horse!"

She's picking Survivor Obstacle couse, Broadcasting (they make a podcast for the camp), and Archery.

Ab's goal for the summer is to "hang with friends and work on my tan" (which is really hard work when you start out this white! )

Tomorrow Jimmy has a birthday party to go to and then he is having 2 friends sleepover. On Sunday we are having a BBQ.

On Monday my friend and her family are coming over for what we call the great clothing exchange. SHe has a 9 year old and a 2 year old. She save everything from the 9 year old, so when Jimmy hits a particular size she passes on whatever she has to Jimmy. I save everything that Jimmy outgrows and give to her to put away for the 2 year old It works out great, in that I usually only have to buy a few things to get Jimmy through any particular season. Saves us a ton of money.
