 That sounds like a really horrible visit to the dentist. I always hated the dentist as a kid. I hope that the visit tomorrow goes much better.

Ellie says thanks for all the Birthday wishes and congrats on the talent show!

Don't they get more expensive taste as they get older too?
Sometimes but they already have most things it's ridiculous!

I don't know whether to give the girls their gifts at the party (after b's Bday and before C's Bday) or on their actual Bday day. What do you guys do?
We always give them their presents on their actual Birthday, about 6am normally :rotfl2:

Post pics on the web? Who would do such a thing???:lmao:
I wouldn't know  :rotfl2:

Evan started with the same virus as Maddie last night at 3:30 am. Vomiting and his fever actually peaked at 103!
Oh no, glad that he was feeling better today though!

Okay, fockers, this is a great way to start a marriage... with laughter and fun! Enjoy!
Best First Dance at a Wedding Ever!
That's so funny :rotfl2:

So I need some advice from moms of kiddos who go to parties.
I would totally leave it up to your DS, they have to learn that not everyone will be their friend, Jess had to, she was terrible always wanted everyone to like her that someone would be nasty one day and if they were nice the next she'd still want them to be her friend :sad2:

Jim, however, is home sick
Oh no, what is up at the moment everyone seems to be ill! Hope he's feeling better soon!

I'm telling you, hop the Chunnel train and get over there, missy! .
Wish I could, what dates are you there?

What's she getting aside from the Wii? I want a Wii.
Not much, new badminton rackets (our ones keep breaking) some clothes, DVD, body stuff and money from all the relatives which she'll use mainly for $ in WDW. My Parents gave her $100 each so with other money she's got $290 :faint:

I had to delete 25 images just to post the last post, so I thought I'd start over... ;)
Oh you do make me laugh :rotfl2: Sounds as though the day was a success :thumbsup2

I need to go to Wal-Mart for the grocery shopping.. but I am just NOT IN THE MOOD. WDW is 28 days away and I have the BLUES. :sad1:
Don't want to get into details. Can't even update the PTR.. too blue to do that.
You know we're here for you

I'm wiped though.
Sounds like a terrible ordeal Dawn, hope A's OK now and is fine tomorrow

Well Ellie was up about 6.30am to open her presents and she liked them so that was good. I then played golf today, got all the way to the club and discovered I'd left the battery for my trolley at home  so drove all the way home and back again, just made it in time thank goodness. It was so crowded up there today though so play was very slow :headache: It was shorts weather though, well just :yay:

Ellie is now at Brownies and we'll do her cake when she gets home, David is at work till 10pm so I'll eat his piece :rotfl2:

HSM- Was the dentist for you or the kiddos? Edited to::: I see you answered this whilst I was slowly typing my post. YOU POOR THING! I would call that dentist back and tell them they can pay for the sedation, since they caused the trouble!

Katt-  being blue is no fun. When the time is right, this sure is a great bunch of listeners.

Kat- Gloomy days are no fun. We have sun, but I'm not sure if it is warmer than 60.

T- I am glad Evan is on the upity up. I am in agreement, a bit of fresh air is always good. Just how far do you live from DL?

Jen- I would tack a tip on, just in case you are not there for the delivery.

DS B-day party update. First off thanks for all of the advice. It really helped me sort out my thoughts. Why such a thing as a b-day party needs to be a big thing...:confused3 I had to be very careful, as this family is friends and they live in our neighborhood. Misunderstanding fly like wildfires in our neighborhood.

We took this as a great life lesson. :)

DS decided that he will skip the party. He decided that the boy is not a very good friend and he doesn't want to go to a party if he doesn't ever play with him. He said that he doesn't think that he would hurt his feelings by not going, because he will have a lot of other friends there to play with.

This came from a 6 year old. Wise old soul, he is.

So I called the mom to tell her and she wasn't happy and told me that she made her son invite mine. :confused3

At least I know that my son will be happy by not going.

I broke my fever last night and Tink and I had a nice AM out. We went and picked out flowers for my pots. On a whim I also bought some tomatoes, onions and cucumbers, in hopes of doing a little garden on our deck.

Glad Ellie had a good b-day. What did you get her? Do you sell cookies in Brownies/Girl Scouts too?

Anyway, I called a friend and cried out my frustrations and we are going to her dr. tomorrow at 8 in San Antonio. She's suposed to be very caring and understanding and will even go to the waiting room playarea to do work on kids if they don't want to stop playing. I hope this works. I don't know what I'll do if it doesn't.

This dentist sounds much better. :thumbsup2

I'm wiped though. :sad2: :guilty: Is it too early for a drink? ;)
Never!

So I called the mom to tell her and she wasn't happy and told me that she made her son invite mine. :confused3

Why would she tell you this? :sad2: To make her look like a good person for inviting your son? Odd.

Kat- Thanks for asking. There's was drama today. Lots of crying. :sad2:

So sorry it got so bad! Don't people know that their mama knows best! Jeez! Good luck tomorrow, it sounds like a much better place to take the kiddos.

And heck yeah HAVE A DRINK!

Heh heh... I knew you Fockers would agree! ;)

I think we will go after we have some lunch! :lmao:

Is it wrong that I hate you right now fro being able to just head over to Dl whenever you feel like it?? :rotfl2: Have a great time! PICTURES!

Ok Fockers...my 2nd question of the day...

I broke down last night and bought a new pair of crocs. I got black mary jane's. Because I wear black and brown sandals the whole summer practically. But, my cha-cha diva black sandles are SO not going to be comfy in the parks. So, I went in search of some black croc sandals...but they were OUT of my size. Anywho...how are the mary jane's for long distance walking??? Anyone?? Anyone??

Aww, I am happy to hear that you have it sorted out, although the other Mom was way out of line telling you what she did......very rude! Even if you do something for someone that is nice, it shouldn't be thrown back into their face. Oh well! At least now you know.

You are right, not everyone is going to be friendly to your DS, that is a life lesson of sorts.....but you being the "Mom", we have to protect our kids within reason. My kids are older and it is hard sometimes seeing what they have to learn. The biggest lesson is that even though someone doesn't like you or doesn't want to be your friend, that there is nothing wrong with them and that that is just what happens in life! :goodvibes

Well she doesn't sound very nice, it sounds as though your DS made the right choice :thumbsup2

Why would she tell you this? :sad2: To make her look like a good person for inviting your son? Odd.
I tell you, the whole thing was odd. Now for the neighborhood gossip to start. THEY love to talk about just about ANYTHING! Bored people.:rotfl:

I'm off to a PTA mtg, Baseball practice then a community ed meeting. Have a great PM girls!

Thanks Jen! You have brought me comfort about wearing these hideous shoes! :rolleyes1

Ok, too many Jen's so princessjv you are noe Jen1, Goofyluver you are now Jen2...SO I have declared (since our Supreme Leader is busy and won't catch on that I am making declarations:rolleyes1  ) With this in mind..

Jen1 - Sounds like your DS has a great head on his shoulders:hug: And Pphhttt! to that mom - she is just rude:headache:

Jen2 - I just bought my first ever pair of crocs (got the Caymans) I have worn them for a lot of walking twice now (once to the zoo and once to an outlet mall) and would never be able to wear them a whole day in WDW. They will be great for non-park days, but I think for park days I will be sticking with my reboks!

T - Have a good time:goodvibes Glad Evan is feeling better.

Dawn - got nothin for ya except

Katt - you too:hug:

Hi everyone else I didn't mention above. Hope you are all having a good day. I have 1/2 hour before I can go home:woohoo:

What the crap? :confused3 How rude. :snooty:

I agree. What a putz she is...

Thanks for the sympathy, girls. :goodvibes I feel better now. I would never have a drink while I'm the only one home with the kids, but maybe I will with dinner. I have a nice $3 bottle of wine in the fridge! :lmao:

This new lady just HAS to work tomorrow! :guilty:

Thanks Jen! You have brought me comfort about wearing these hideous shoes! :rolleyes1

LOL I think the mary jane's aren't so bad, they are a slow slimmer than the reg crocs. I generally wear my capri crocs for most of the day and bring an extra pair of flip flops with me in case I need to switch. But thats just me.

Glad Ellie had a good b-day. What did you get her? Do you sell cookies in Brownies/Girl Scouts too?
The girls are getting a Wii between them so we just bought her some small pressies to open today and no they don't sell cookie here, not sure if that's good or bad :rotfl2:

Anywho...how are the mary jane's for long distance walking??? Anyone?? Anyone??
Personally I couldn't wear them at the parks, the little bumps hurt my feet, yes I'm delicate :rotfl2: Also I like to feel held into my shoe IYKWIM so love my walking sandals :thumbsup2
THEY love to talk about just about ANYTHING! Bored people.:rotfl:
Bit like us then :rotfl2:

Well... I guess I'll be different... Mary Janes do not work for me with a LOT of WALKING.. but since you plan to wear them for WDW no problem.. who walks there :rotfl2:
They did not have enough arch support for me . I HAVE to use the Caymans.
