You people are no help. I was looking for something more unaminous like.

:rotfl:

Katt- I'm sorry you're blue. :guilty:
. There's was drama today. Lots of crying. :sad2:
I'm wiped though. :sad2: :guilty: Is it too early for a drink? ;)

You are having a "Season of Bad Dentist experiences"
Apparently the tooth could not handle the drill with out the needle...

Now the dentist does not seem like a very friendly fellow. When working with kids you HAVE to make allownaces and expect your "SCHEDULE" to be messed up. I am betting that was some of his issues. Do not understand why he thought you would HOLD YOUR KID DOWN :confused3 . It might have worked if he would have allowed your "interference".

Joshua had to be sedated once.. :sad1: I felt so bad for him. They gave him the "syrup" to drink ( that I had to bring with me) and left us in the waiting room for over an hour. He got so Loopy that he was falling all over himself.
They strapped him down on some kind of board after he was "OUT" :confused No clue there . They Bruised him he was strapped so tight. NEVER WENT BACK THERE AGAIN:mad: ( yes this was a pediatric dentist) He also woke up grumpy.

New Dentist... very gentle have always been able to get around needles .
Joshua NEEDS BRACES... that will practically require surgery. Have to pull 2 maybe 4 teeth. ( that will destory him for the dentist after that... the pain:guilty: ) Then I am sure he will have to be sedated for the braces..
I have enough trouble getting him to brush right now. Add braces to that:eek: .

I will say a prayer for all of you tonight.. that the events of these 2 days will not ruin him with dentist for a good while. Be sure to update us when you can. May need a "gift" for him after all this.

Ok, too many Jen's so princessjv you are noe Jen1, Goofyluver you are now Jen2...SO I have declared (since our Supreme Leader is busy and won't catch on that I am making declarations:rolleyes1  ) With this in mind..

TE... WHERE ARE YOU ???... I GAVE JANET A CROWN AND A TROPHY A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO.... NOW SHE HAS TAKEN OVER :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yikes! Your poor baby! I would be livid if someone tried to strap A down.
The dentist tries. He's always been great except for this shot thing. They are sweet about letting the kids come in and out of the room with me and letting them play alone in the playroom while I'm being worked on. I just don't know why he thinks I don't know A best. :confused3

I feel for you with the braces thing. Just make sure and tell them to make it less tight because he's not good with pain. That's what I ended up doing and now she's totally fine. :thumbsup2

Hi Fockers I skimmed thru so if I missed anything sorry!!

T- I am glad Evan is on the upity up. I am in agreement, a bit of fresh air is always good. Just how far do you live from DL?
Oh about 15 mins give or take. ;)

So I called the mom to tell her and she wasn't happy and told me that she made her son invite mine. :confused3
Wow, she sounds like a piece of work. :sad2: I bet that made her feel real really good to say that - what a *****!

Is it wrong that I hate you right now fro being able to just head over to Dl whenever you feel like it?? :rotfl2: Have a great time! PICTURES!
Hater! :p Hey how about we trade for a week? We could stay at your apt in NY and you could come stay here! :thumbsup2 I'd love to see NY!
Ok Fockers...my 2nd question of the day...

I broke down last night and bought a new pair of crocs. I got black mary jane's. Because I wear black and brown sandals the whole summer practically. But, my cha-cha diva black sandles are SO not going to be comfy in the parks. So, I went in search of some black croc sandals...but they were OUT of my size. Anywho...how are the mary jane's for long distance walking??? Anyone?? Anyone??
This is what I did - they didn't have the capri's in my size in black, so I bought the men's cretes. (same shoe, different name) :teeth: Worked for me! Check and see if they have the same sandal you want in the mens size if you really want them.

Ok, too many Jen's so princessjv you are noe Jen1, Goofyluver you are now Jen2...SO I have declared (since our Supreme Leader is busy and won't catch on that I am making declarations:rolleyes1  ) With this in mind..
:rotfl2:

So we just got back from DLR - it was probably one of our better visits! :thumbsup2 Thought I'd share this with you as I'm sure you'll all appreciate this...

So we're walking over to Thunder Mountain via the back way and Maddie spies Jessie and Woody - there are about 4 families in line. So she runs ahead and gets in line. We wait our turn, like good DISers and then when we're up, the handler decides to "reorganize" the line. Whilst she is doing this, some lady walks up to the front of the line and stands up next to Jessie and Woody, basically cutting infront of everyone - me included. So the CM goes back to where Jessie and Woody are and Jessie whispers something in the CMs ear. The CM looks at the lady and asks her "Where you in line?" the lady then replies "Uhhh... no." So the CM tells her "You need to get in line BEHIND all these people." It was the greatest moment for me, as people ALWAYS seem to cut infront of us and me and my mouth usually gets me nowhere with the CMs. :teeth:
It was almost as good as a DREAM.... nah! :wizard: Nevermind! :rotfl2:

Oh, I hate that. People can be so rude...don't they see the little kids waiting patiently in line:mad:

He needs better stage presence.. but the guy who has the MOST MUSIC IN HIS VOICE is David A.
David C is good no doubt.. he will have a career.. he is 25 He just misses more notes . His voice is near peak.
David A is ONLY 17 his voice HAS NOT PEAKED YET. He is great now... he will be incredible in another 4 years.

This is 5 years of music school talking here. I am telling you what I HEAR not what I see.
I would like to take David A's voice and put it with David C's confidence that would be the Winner.

V will LOVE this story...

Janet.... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: You make me laugh... I needed that today

I need to go to Wal-Mart for the grocery shopping.. but I am just NOT IN THE MOOD. WDW is 28 days away and I have the BLUES. :sad1:
Don't want to get into details. Can't even update the PTR.. too blue to do that.

Hope all is better soon.

I didn't realize you couldn't non-rev, but this certainly makes up for it! :thumbsup2

Yeah, being a private company, they woudn't be able to let, say, an American Airlines pilot on their flights, so without reciprocity (good word, if I spelled it right! :rotfl: ) D & his co-workers can't get on a commercial flight. This works, though. :thumbsup2

Hey CE - congrats on the trip, I can send Murph with you and see if she is still into stealing wine carafes (if you remember, she almost got me, my aunt and cousin arrested in a Paris cafe for trying to 5 finger the empty wine carafe)

::yes:: I remember. She's a sweetie, I'd love to meet her. :goodvibes

I KNOW! I'm bad, but I need a Disney fix! The weather is great, not hot, not too cool - maybe just a stroll around the park might do us both some good. :confused3
:lmao:

Awesome! I see that you did, in fact, go.

I'm wiped though. :sad2: :guilty: Is it too early for a drink? ;)

Well, that all just sucks. Hope you got a drink, sweetie.

Wish I could, what dates are you there?

Wed. the 4th we get to Paris and I leave Sunday afternoon the 8th. C'mon, you know you want to! :lmao:

Ellie is now at Brownies and we'll do her cake when she gets home, David is at work till 10pm so I'll eat his piece :rotfl2:

Sounds fair. :thumbsup2

DS decided that he will skip the party. He decided that the boy is not a very good friend and he doesn't want to go to a party if he doesn't ever play with him. He said that he doesn't think that he would hurt his feelings by not going, because he will have a lot of other friends there to play with.

Sounds good, and what a strange thing for the mom to say. Glad you got rid of the fever and had a nice morning with Tink.

Hi everyone else I didn't mention above. Hope you are all having a good day. I have 1/2 hour before I can go home:woohoo:

Well, hi to you too.

THAT is frickin awesome. :thumbsup2

Well, D's in Orlando now, but having beeing up since 3:30, he says he's not hitting DTD. :rotfl: It's actually kind of too bad because Dr. Belle is there now with her family, and he really would have liked to see her.

I got some bad news, though.

Slight back story (I'll try to keep it short, but we know me.):

Back when the boys were 2 1/2 I headed "home" to IL for nearly 6 weeks as D was gone in training and I had a couple of weddings to attend at either end. As it happened, that was also the first of my maternal grandpa's radiation/chemo treatments for lung cancer. He'd had a 1/3 of his right lung removed in the mid 1990's, but continued to smoke, and the cancer came to the LEFT lung in 2005.

He's in poor overall health - he's also had an ostomy bag for years, heart issues, etc., so they did a long round of radiation/chemo, then said it was about all that could be done - that was around the middle of 2006.

He's just kept on keeping on since then. He's been on constant oxygen since last year, as has my grandma.

He has been coughing with some blood lately, so Mom took him to the doctor yesterday. They decided to go ahead and admit him. They felt it was bronchitis, and that the blood was likely just from breaking capillaries by coughing a lot.

But, they did a fibroscopy (???) today, and it turns out that the tumor is growing cancer again.

I've been expecting a horrible middle-of-the-night phone call for years, so this isn't exactly unexpected, but... They haven't talked to the oncologist yet, and so I don't really know if this means that he'll be gone within weeks or months or what. I feel that he's been ready to "give up" now for a while, so this may send him over the edge, even if they say "six months" or whatever.

I don't know. I'm sadder than I thought, because this has been going on for a long time, and of course, selfishly, the timing could have been better. My cousin (his granddaughter also) is getting married in August and I know we all really wanted him there. And I don't know anything for sure, so there's no sense in getting worried about timing until we've heard some prognosis of some sort.

Ugh.

I totally agree .... David C is already who he is and David A has no where to go but up.
