TE- Now it's my turn to hug you! :hug: I'm sorry your dad isn't feeling well. I'll add him to my prayers tonight. Keep us updated, okay? :guilty:

I'll tell Baylie she should be better soon. I just went in her room to help her calm down she's been crying on and off all night. I think she's finally about to fall asleep. :sad1:

TE, Have you heard anything more about your dad? You all are in my thoughts as well. :hug:

I don't remember my braces hurting that badly, of course that was 25 years ago. :rolleyes: Hopefully something will help Baylie soon. :hug:

Morning Fockers!!!

I can remember my braces hurting so bad...i kept taking aspirin and putting ice packs (gently..lol) on my face because i didn't know what else to do...
The good thing was though it only lasted a few days. Hugs to you both!!

Hi everyone
One day with no internet(high winds),a class trip one day and field day another and IM LOST!!!!!!NO WAY to catch up with you chatty ladies.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Hi T2 :wave2:

Okay now try this Oxford Scholar = ????:confused3
I was going to say dollar even before I saw the answer :rotfl2:

Jo - I only see Albert Einstein. :confused:
Stand far away from the PC screen :thumbsup2

Hi friends---
had a rough last 24 hours---dad is in the hospital---mom came home from work and found him collapsed on the bed--chest pains, difficulty breathing, confusion...

We spent 6 hours in the ER then to ICU. They think he has pneumonia and hepatitis (but not sure what caused the liver problems). Plus his heart went into a fib (beats rapidly but does no good) and his blood pressure went down to 30s.

Please say a word of prayer for him---hopefully we will know soon everything that is going on. He's in our little rural hospital too so may have to fly him somewhere bigger.
Oh TE :hug: I'll be thinking of you all :grouphug:

All right. It's short and maybe boring, but here are some videos from t-ball on Saturday. That's me yelling, but, just FYI, the kid I'm telling to "run!" is not my own, so don't get confused by the name. I was the third base coach that day. :rolleyes1
So cute CE :goodvibes

ETA: the names I yelled were actually Buzz & Woody's twin classmates - one in each of their classes - and though they are fraternal, too, I was bad and yelled the wrong name! You'd think I'd be more sensitive as a twin mom! ;)
I call my girls the wrong name all the time and there's over 1 ft difference in height :rotfl2:

We have 6 new chicks coming first week of June..cant wait!! I`ll post pictures..
Hi Carrie, can't wait to see photos!

I'll tell Baylie she should be better soon. I just went in her room to help her calm down she's been crying on and off all night. I think she's finally about to fall asleep. :sad1:
Poor little thing, I really hope the pain goes soon :hug:

but this friday i get a "me" day. it's ems/paramedic week, so we're having a golf outing. so... lots of er staff, police, firefighters, paremedics = not much golf, lots of alcohol, maybe a golf cart fender bender!!! can't wait.
That doesn't sound like the golf I play :rotfl: So did you finish the bottle of wine???

It's Ellie's birthday party on Saturday, she chose to take 5 friends to the cinema to see Nims Island then back to our house for pizza, ice-cream and cake then 1 staying for a sleepover. So nice and easy, I'm not even doing party bags this year as I've decided they're too old for them, hope they agree :rotfl:

I call my girls the wrong name all the time and there's over 1 ft difference in height :rotfl2:

There are days I yell out all the names in the house excluding mine just trying to get the right person.:rotfl2:

:banana: 33 DAYS TILL DISNEY !!:banana:

How do you know what the dosage really is then? She's almost 11, but is 5'2" and 125#. So, to me she's like a small adult. I gave her a tylenol at one, and let her take an aleve at 3 (after 8 hours), but she's still crying. She's upset I'm making her go to dance, but the recital's next week.:eek: I feel so bad.
In case this helps, I'm just slightly smaller than your DD and I take one 200mg Ibuprofren for light pain, but 2-3 for serious pain.

Hi everyone
Hi T2! :wave: Happy Almost-Anniversary!

Okay now try this Oxford Scholar = ????:confused3
Uuummm... hear me holla? :confused3

Hi everyone!
Hi CE! :wave:

Poor B. Have never had braces so Ican't give any advice, but I can give her a :hug:
Ditto. :hug:

I'm so sorry TE - I'm thinking of you all. :grouphug:

just one question though. i've opened a bottle of homemade wine, no way to recork it. i'm the only one drinking it... does this mean i have to drink the whole bottle, so it doesn't go bad???? :rotfl2:
'Fraid so - steel yourself! :rotfl:

Moning Fockers!!

Sounds perfect! Is her actual Bday Sat?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, some wing-nut in the Navy missed a bomb target and started a fire in Ocala National Forest, in west-central FL. And the smoke from it is traveling south, descending upon us folks on the coast. :headache: Just what my already asthma-riddled lungs need, right?
Nope it's on Tuesday. We haven't bought her many pressies as her and Jess are getting a wii between them, Jessica's birthday is in July and I don't want to give them the wii on Ellie's birthday as it will seem as though it's more for Ellie, does that make sense? :rotfl2:
Oh no :headache: Hope it clears soon!
no, i only drank about half!! :rotfl2: really didn't want a headache this am!!! had to get up at 6am , my dd got on the bus earlier. her special ed class is going to camp today and tomorrow!! she was so excited. it's not overnight thankfully.
that sounds like a great bday party. i think the movie, food and sleepover makes up for the party bags!! have fun!! 6 girls overnight, wow :scared1:
There are days I yell out all the names in the house excluding mine just trying to get the right person.:rotfl2:
:banana: 33 DAYS TILL DISNEY !!:banana:
i do that all the time. i even get the dog's name in there sometimes! :rotfl2:
:scared1: Somehow I missed this whilst I was reading about the arson fire started in Brevard county on the east coast!
Although you know Disney had large fans that keep the smoke away from their property. :cool2:
I call my girls the wrong name all the time and there's over 1 ft difference in height :rotfl2:
I think I've got you beat...I sometime call Jimmy Tinkerbell (our dog:rolleyes1 :lmao: )
How old is she Jo? Sounds like a nice easy party for you. Jimmy on the other hand doesn't want easy. He wants a Stitch party--at home:headache:
Fabulous:headache:
Good Morning Fockers. Work again:headache: This morning Jimmy decided he wants to know how crayons are made, so I think this weekend we may go to the Crayola factory so he can find out for himself:thumbsup2 Other than that, not much going on. It is supposed to rain most of the weekend so outdoor activities will be out.
Have a good day all and I will check in later:thumbsup2
Good morning! I do not look forward to this day. I just dread Baylie being in pain. I think I'll call the office to see if there's anything else I'm missing that could help her. :confused3 I'm also thinking about having a friend over or meeting them for lunch to distract her a bit.
I really appreciate everyone's support. It really helps when I get overwhelmed. :lovestruc
V- Thanks. That does help.
Jo- When's Ellie's Bday? B's is the 21st and C's is June 5th, so we're having a joint hula party next weekend. It should be fun. I planned coconut races, a bracelet making craft, and the limbo. B's having two girls sleepover afterwards too. :banana:
TE- Still thinking about you and your family. :grouphug:
OMG TE :hug: and prayers :angel: for your dad.
Was that this morning?? :eek: I know there were fires yesterday in Central FL and you could smell the smoke all the way down here in Miami. Oh V, hope it clears up soon. :hug:
For those shopping Fockers, there's an 80% off sale on the Disneyshopping website outlet. Pretty good deals just FYI. ;)
I watched Beowulf last night. It was ok. Although I will say that that was some amazing animation. Very impressive. :thumbsup2
Don't have anything planned today. Have to clean the house and I might go watch Made of Honor with my friend. Maybe I should update my TR too. :rolleyes1 I really want to do some Scrapbooking as it's been sorely neglected.
I just can't seem to find the time for things lately. How do some of you do it?
This week I was trying something new by seperating activities and devoting certain days to it. Monday=reading day, Tuesday=TV day, Wed=Computer(DIs)/errands day, Thur=Scrapbooking then I work during the weekend so nothing gets done. It's been working out ok and at least I've been able to make it to the DIS more often. Ever since they took the internet away at work I never seem to have time to keep up with my threads on the DIS. :guilty:
You could start him out with the old Mr Rodgers clip showing a video of them making crayons.
Joshua loves pulling it off the internet and watching it.
That sounds like a lot of fun! I think I saw the factory on tv once but maybe you could post some photos too... ;)
TE: Sorry my :hug: is so late! I was away from the computer yesterday and had so much to catch up on! I hope things are going well. :lovestruc
----------------
Today I am calling MS to book my MExpress for Fockerfest. I forgot to do it when I booked my hotel....duh.
And buying a parasailing "flight" for DH for Father's Day. He can do it when we go in June.
And making a few ADR's.....(for FF) and maybe some more garage sale pricing! :sad2: I have SO MUCH to do still. UGH.
I hope that everyone is well. :goodvibes
I would definitely call the Dr about the braces for Baylie. Poor baby! :scared: DS didn't have any pain, but he did have "pokey" things sticking into him so he used the wax.
:hug: for her!
MEL:banana:
Janet!!! :ssst:
