Good Morning Fockers!
NO SCHOOL TODAY!!!

I had my dental final yesterday, so today is my day off. I start my last modular tomorrow!! I'm soooo excited.
I have another announcement to make: Evan gave up his paci yesterday!! The dentist will be so proud! Let's see he's 3yrs/9mos. - YICKES! It did cost me a new Thomas train and new tracks, but just think of ortho bills he may have saved me.
Glad to hear everyone had a restful Mother's Day! Got a lot to do today - Target, Costco & grocery shopping - BLECH!
TTYL!
how much longer until your'e done with school? contrats on giving up the paci!!! did you ever hear about or do the day out with thomas? we have one in our area the end of may. i can't wait to take my 2 yr old!! we took my 9 yr old when he was 3, now he's like , do i have to go? they grow up so fast.
I must let everyone know!!!!
I got a 90 on my test, and the teacher does not give an A so I guess that means I got the highest possible score!
My final grade looks to be a B for the class...
WOOOHOOO!! I thought for sure I would fail!!
And I read another mention of these Twighlight books.... I have heard a lot about them from my best friend but I passed them off as dorky. I grouped them in the same level with Harry Potter, Narnia, Lord of the Rings and those type of books. I know a lot of people love those, but I just can't get into fantasy. I prefer James Patterson, Lisa Gardner etc. But I keep hearing more and more about this series. I think I am going to pick them up and take them to the beach with me when I leave on the 23rd. They are worth a try. I am going to try to be open minded about this!!
great job!!!

i've never heard of the twighlight books, but i just love harry potter.
Last weekend was the AP preview for Toy Story at MGM, so after a lovely brunch at Epcot, we took the boat over to check it out. Arriving at the ride entrance, there was a mass of people, not a line, a mass. The CM's were checking ID's and AP's diligently which I have never seen them do before at a preview. Finally getting through the shrubbery that keeps the slugs out, we're on our way to que up.
The actual line went pretty quickly however, I was a little slower since I was taking pictures. A mother and her child actually passed us while I stopped to take a picture. We will all get there ma'am. The theming was well done with a Candy Land path on the floor, Scrabble and checkers on the ceiling, and the BIG Tinker Toys, Barrel Full of Monkeys, and Lincoln Logs. Of course Mr. Potato Head was a big hit too!

There are steps to go up and then to go down to get in your buggie, I'm not sure of the actual term for the cars. As we're waiting to board feeling like small toys in Andy's bedroom, we are looking up at the bed, the electrical outlets and all the other toys scattered around the room.
-----
Then we're just outside the safety gate ready to board,
and the ride breaks down! "Ladies and gentlemen, please go back the way you came. The ride has broken down and we don't know when it will reopen." We did receive a fast pass to came back but we didn't have time to wait. So someone else will have to finish the review!
that just sucks that the ride broke down, but WOW the pictures are awesome. can't wait to ride it!!
Anyone want to buy some golf clubs? They're going cheap Today was our Spring Meeting (big competition) and I so wanted to do well! I started with an 8 so that wasn't good. I then did OK until the 13th hole where I managed to hit some trees, 6 to be exact, I even had to duck on one shot as the ball hit a tree and shot over my head Stop laughing Anyway I ended up playing 8 over my handicap, won no prizes (BTW the prizes were gross anyway but could be returned) and I'm so stressed as I know David will start analysing everything But it was lovely and sunny, very windy though, so I topped up my tan
so sorry you had a bad day of golf, but you truly made me laugh!!!
We were told she needs them for 2 years. We're hoping she can get them off in time for her 13th Bday. Grandma promised she would buy her contacts for her 13th Bday too. So, she'll be lookin' like a super model then!
I can't believe she actually told her grandma in the phone that they are cute!
This is the girl who cried when she was told she had to get them.
at least she thinks they're cute, hopefully the pain will get better. i never had to have braces, but i acutally wanted them!!

i would actually put gum around my teeth and pretend i had braces. wow , i was weird wasnt' i
I keep saying that to KC actually... but then it'll be a whole new set of drama because then I'd be inviting them to my house since I plan to stay around for the holidays once i have a baby (hopefully in the next few years).
I like my in-laws they are ok. They are just very detached type of people, never really expressing their feelings and thats hard for me because I'm a talk-it-out kinda gal. She will never apologize to me for anything because it would be expressing a feeling.
When we first met they didn't like me, because of the age difference and I'm figuring because I'm not Hispanic. It took us over a year to let me be allowed in his home, we used to live in Starbucks stores because we could sit and actually spend some time. Then when I moved into their building it got a bit better but not really, and when he decided to stay in the building with me when they moved, it was a drama. She wouldn't even let him take his own TV or bed in hopes that we'd break up and he'd come home. She called their 2nd bedroom (the office actually) "KC's Room" until after we were married. when we told them we were getting married she gave him a ring to give me (she collects jewelery) and that was a big step but never any words. they came to the wedding, gave us a CD worth a lot of $ but it has never really felt like I was a part of the family. Even still. They tend to overlook that I have an entire side of the family to visit and keep in touch with, and to me its selfish on their part. I deal because I love my husband, but talking to his mom is like speaking to a wall. One sided conversation and repeats of the same stuff over and over.
Told ya I was a talker...sorry for the long windedness...Thanks for letting me vent
sorry so many problems with your inlaws

mine aren't that bad. i did complain about my mil, but i feel really guilty now . she told us she's taking the entire family (12 ppl) on a 7 night land/sea
disney cruise in aug 2009!! i guess i can never say anything bad again
hang in there, hopefully it will get better.
Talking of relations, MIL phoned about a week ago to say they would come down and visit, they only live 2 hours away and are both retired, the last time they came was on their way home from France 2 years ago

Well she phoned last night to say they don't feel well enough to come, yeah right, but when are we going there

why does everyone expect us to go there

Thing is I get grumpy that they don't come but I don't actually want them to come IYKWIM
KWYM, whoops, i just said i wasn't going to say anything bad about the inlaws, off to a great start aren't i
The BED has arrived!!!!!! And it took little time for the delivery guys to install, but teh rest of the day for me to reorganize Leo's room. Hence the lack of school work, DISing and TR writing.
Still, worth it no?
He's been doing a lot of dinosaur "research" (his word!) at school lately - going through a dinosaur encyclopedia and writing down the names, drawing pictures in a notebook. So, as a surprise, I bought some reference books for his new desk: Pirate dictionary, NG animal encyclopedia, kids' level human anatomy and a book about horses. That last one is in place of the
only request he had for his birthday...... a horse.

Maybe riding lessons next year.
the pictures aren't working on my computer!!! i wish i could see them!! sounds like you 've been busy. hopefully he'll forget about wanting a horse by next year. kids just don't understand why they can't keep a horse in the yard!!!
i'm at work, it's not too bad. just wanted to say hello to everyone!! i worked 12 hours mon, tues, so slept all day tues. well, better get back to work, so i can keep my job!!!
