Sneaking in a quick hello! :wave2:

Wow I miss this place, there just isn't enough time in the day to do all I need to so I have been neglecting my computer. :guilty:

Anyhoo I hope everyone is doing well!

I saw CE's boys in their uniforms and OMG they look so cute!

Happy Belated bday Leo!!!! :flower3:

T congrats on the presentation!

I really don't know what's going on with anyone else as I only read the last pg of TFW. :confused:

Lessa/TE! check this out: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1099212/ I dunno if you guys knew about it, but as the resident TFW movie watcher, thought I'd let ya'll know.

So what did I miss? :upsidedow

Total geek moment, but do you know why it's not taller? Of course you all do! You know everything Disney. :smooth:
::yes::

You don't get service like that at Universal. When we were there over Spring Break, we rode one of the kids rollercoasters and when the ride was over, there was no line. They told us we had to walk around.

Another Universal one - Mr Diz asked one of the employees where the restroom was. They told him he could look on the guidemap.
Niiiice. :rolleyes:
But coal and dole do rhyme. :confused3
Thank you - I thought I was crazy! :crazy2:

It went pretty good - it started out scary, though. The school computer wasn't picking up my flash drive! :eek: This computer geek fixed it though. But my sound card wouldn't work, dangnabit! But at least I spelled all my words correctly. (NOF stupid people in my class ;)) :lmao: I think I walked away with an A by comparison. We have our final on Monday, then our last modular starts on Tuesday... then it's 4 weeks until I'm finished!!! :woohoo:
YAAAAY!!!!! WIsh I were that close, too. :hug:
So, the t-ball game was possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen. :lmao:
if it's anything like pee-wee soccer, I can imagine! ;)

a belated happy birthday. i'm always a little behind. 6 is such a cute age!!
Aw, thanks! Don't worry about falling behind - I'm not usually as on top of things here as I've been this week. I've been prosrastinating by DISing instead of school work. :rolleyes1

Morning Fockers!! Just wanted to say hi and hope you all have a great day!!!
Morning!

In Short.. My Mom planned her funeral.. dictated the scripture, WROTE things to be said.. and SANG at her Funeral... Now I admit that was different and weird.. casket is open.. Mom is laying there... and her accordian starts playing and she begins to sing.

She also wrote a poem that ended something like this..." so ring the bells for me as I leave this world.. and as their tones rise..let their melodious song carry me upward and onward away from this world to my Heavenly Home. Where they will ring the bells to welcome me home."
At that point, Sarabeth ( age 4) Joshua (age 8) and myself began to ring bells
then the church bells began to ring... then those in attendance that were asked to bring a handbell also began to ring theirs. All directed by Mom's wishes. Sara was cute... she started it.. walked up front.. faced the crowd and began to ring. ( that was not planned... she just did it.)
It was so cute and innocent.There is a LOT of Mom in her.. THANK GOODNESS.. but there is also a LOT of ME:scared1: .
Now I'm all verklempt! :hug:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, 6 is interesting so far: Leo was in a MOOD when I picked him up yesterday. And it wasn't a good mood. :headache: I think he's pretty well over the whole celebratory thing. He told us not to sing and said he doesn't want a lot of poepl at his party tomorrow. But this morning, he was all hugs and affection. :confused3
So what did I miss? :upsidedow
Let's see if I forget anything:rolleyes:
CE - Just back from visiting the IL's and has a new TV and TV stand.
TE - Redecorating her livingroom...has yet to show us pics:rolleyes1
Jo - Playing golf:rolleyes: . Jess did awesome on her English...um..test:confused3
Lot's of new members do make sure to introduce yourself to them.:woohoo:
Katt - killed some more trains.:lmao:
Kat - Had an awesome NYC Dis Meet:goodvibes
Lessa - Went to the tulip festival, where she saw the queen;)
Leo turned 6 and got stitches (not in that order)
T - finished her project on bad breath:sick:
Mel - is getting ready for a garage sale:thumbsup2
Ok everyone, throw in anything I have forgotten.....I'm sure there is tons of stuff!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a carpy day here. Torrential rain all day. I have cancelled the BBQ we had planned for tomorrow because even if it stops raining the yard will be a muddy mess. I am cooking seafood and a ham instead. This is MOther's Day dinner for the MIL, becasue I don't actually want to spend Mother's Day with her:rolleyes1
Sunday, if the weather is nice, we are going to hit the zoo. They are having a special Mother's Day celebration and they have an extra magic hour for members only so we can get in early and be on our way out by the time everyone else is heading in:thumbsup2
I am sure I will be popping in and out all weekend, but let me be the first to wish all the moms (even Jo, even though she celebrated last month;) )
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
DId something happen at school that upset him?
Well Fockers, I got some sad news when I got home from work this morning. My dad called to let us know that our grandpa passed away last night. :sad1: He has been very sick for a long time so it was not unexpected but it is still very sad. He lived a nice long life though, he was 89 years old. I wish I had known him better but with us always living so far away we rarely got to visit.
Oh, Lessa! So Sorry. :hug: Is this the Grandfather who lived in CA? I recall you mentioning that he was far away....
Lessa, I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember reading on here a while ago that you were trying to get to see him because he wasn't doing too well. 89 is a wonderfully long life. I am sorry.:hug:
Yes, he lived in British Columbia. Visits to the West Coast have been few and far between due to the high flight costs in Canada. It usually costs at least $700 pp for a round-trip ticket from Toronto to Vancouver.
Thank You, unfortunately we never did get out there to visit before he passed. :sad2:
Leesa, I'm sorry about your grandfather as well. My grandfather's death was expected too but somehow that doesn't make it any easier unfortunately. :hug:
Um, Jo? That was very confusing. Dole whip and Coal DO rhyme....???
But coal and dole do rhyme.
So you might be a chavvy if you are on the dole?
Errrr dole doesn't rhyme with coal you pronounce it doll A (phonetic A) OK :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: And yes S'Late if you're on the dole you're probably a chav!
I should post some photos from my house.
Ooooh yes please!
Jo, I have two responses for Jess:
1. Don't be hatin'
or
2. She could just tell them they are just envious of her superior intellect.
She says what's superior intellect, so much for top marks in English :rotfl2:
I think I walked away with an A by comparison. We have our final on Monday, then our last modular starts on Tuesday... then it's 4 weeks until I'm finished!!!
Sounds good T :thumbsup2
Jo Andy Capp was the King of Dole!!:lmao:
Bit before my time Rosie but Dad liked Andy Capp :rotfl2:
So, the t-ball game was possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen. :lmao:
Is it meant to be funny? :rotfl2:
HEY I ACTUALLY DID A MULTI QUOTE WITHOUT SCREWING IT UP !!! WOO HOOOO!! IT DOENS'T TAKE MUCH TO EXCITE ME , CAN YOU TELL?? :rotfl2:
Wooohooo :yay:
Surprise surprise I played golf today, the weather is still beautiful and I'm really working on the brown legged white foot look :rotfl2:
Tonight the girls and I are going to a Body Shop Party, it was meant to be just me till the girls found out some of their friends were going :headache: So much for my girls night out, well I suppose it still is as I'm going out with my girls :rotfl:
