And i am already spending a paycheck I didn't even get yet...lol....and plannign a trip for March in my head to pass the time during my shifts. Half off the resorts makes my head spin, in the good way!

I'm off to relax on the recliner and wait for KC to get home.

:rotfl: Have a good evening!

Hi Fockers!

Sorry about the absence. I’ve been very busy which makes me very tired. I work harder when I’m not at work. Here’s an update.

JO got dissed by the other moms involved with Ells class. Their parties at the vicars get a bit rowdy. The prizes for golf yesterday sucked. She got new Mom’s panel cards. Save one for me in September. See my schedule in the next post. I think we will only have one or 2 days to meet up. You missed me - Thanks.

JANET goes to Kohl’s to use the bathroom and comes out with a new wardrobe. She is taking Thursday off to avoid celebrity status. Ok they cancelled the photo shoot and she is working half the day. She is an electrician in her spare time! Would you like to come to Indiana and help my DH for the next week and a half. You are very handy!

KAT is trying to make KC a new and more responsible man of the house now that she is working. Her 1st paycheck is already spent and she doesn't have it yet. I will send good vibes for your back. The job does sound wonderful though. Love the badge!

DAWN says Mel is visiting in couple of months. Better have that fire extinguisher handy.

MO had a Carbon Monoxide scare. Turns out it was a power outage. Mo is blocking 1 hour every day at work on her electronic calendar. Good Luck with that!

DEB had a good time in Atlanta. She is “Forward Thinking” when it comes to education!:thumbsup2

V is without Leo for a couple of weeks. She was an excellent role model at 17.

KICKAPOO had fun at Hilton Head except for the job calling her. She needs to change her name to Throwapoo on the community boards. Are you like me? I don’t deal well with the stupidity of others.

JV is procrastinating the start of the next Twilight book because she hates when they end.:lmao:

HEDY has a sinus infection that has affected her vacation in Oct.

ROSIE needs to have a lump removed from her breast just in case. July 8th is the date for the surgery. I‘m sending up a little Focker prayer. I know you will recover quickly. I luv ya’! It’s nice to be missed.:hug:

CE is working on smoothing out the summer drama for the twins.:rolleyes1

T got more brown.

SLATE - I am sorry about all the private school issues. That price tag of $20,000 is a lot.

MEL did some IKEA browsing and hair dying.

LESSA is trying to get used to the idea of school.

SHARKY says her #3 son wants a tire swing in Florida.

MrsKS is getting ready for the 4th with Bills parents. She is in full design mode for her trip at WDW too!

Hello to everyone else. I missed you all!

Let’s see where to begin.

This past Sunday Doug and I went to see Transformers 2. The film burnt up with 12 minutes to go. We waited 30 minutes and still nothing. Doug was ready to go. We got free movie passes and free drinks for our inconvenience.

After that we went to eat at TGIFs. The waitress asked Doug how his steak was and to my disbelief he told her it was a bit overdone but OK. He never speaks up about stuff like this, never. After I picked myself up off the floor a manager came over and apologized. He gave us a card for a free appy or desert on our next visit. So Sunday was a day of freebies.

Monday I stayed up until 2AM. Got up at 5:30AM and limbered up my fingers for ADRs on-line. At 6AM I was in. At 6:45 AM I sighed and cried. I was disappointed with Le Cellier and Tusker House. What a pisser. I’ll post my new and maybe improved schedule for the BFF trip below.

I should have went back to bed but I wanted to report to Enchanted with an update and do my other mod duties. Next, Doug and I needed to go to the home store for wood and cement. We also decided to go ahead and see Trans 2 again. We got out of the movie at 1:30PM and had a late lunch at Culver’s. I thought we were going home but no. He needed to go to a gravel place to see about - gravel. By this point I am becoming ……………. the ‘B’ word because I am tired and I have to go to the bathroom.

Finally we get home at about 4PM and I crashed on the couch for about 2 hours. I got up and painted the trim for the garage door. We sat down and watched ‘New In Town’ - Very cute movie and Doug made some snacks. I spent the rest of the night with him watching TV and chatting.

Oh yeah and I talked to my brother……………………………….he is getting remarried in November. (que the screeching tires and screams) Holy Carp! I wish I could say I was honestly surprised but I’m not. It just tells me that there was definitely a strong connection between him and this other woman before the divorce. You don’t have to have sex to be cheating is all I’m saying.

Tuesday Doug and I went with the crazies to Shipshewana, IN. for the flea market. I am trying to be nice since this is his best friend. We did have a good time, we did. However, she is still, IMO, nuts. She just has these off-the-wall ideas and talks randomly about people I don’t know. I just want her to shut up sometimes. For example:

She asked if I thought that she and Doug’s friend were too old to have a child. She has a niece that is going to have a baby. I guess she doesn’t want it. OK there are a lot of ways to answer her question. I went with the poor and stupid angle only with a diplomatic, here’s the scenario, approach. I told her they didn’t have enough time, money or mental stability to raise a child. I put it in 3rd party form, of course. Basically that is what I said. I don’t want to bash anyone else. But these 2 have tried this before with his niece who was 13 years old. Result: The niece is back with her mom. The crazies are divorced. She had a mental breakdown and is on meds …….etc. NOT GOOD! Let’s just say the conversation came to an end with that assessment. Hey, you ask, I throw down!

Today has been slow. I only got a few hours sleep again. I am now going to get some dinner going. But first, here is my new schedule for the BFF trip in September/October.

Sunday, 27th
Arrive at Orlando airport at 2PM. Jump on ME and hopefully get checked in to POFQ by 3PM. Head to DTD by boat for eats and browsing .

Monday, 28th
AK: Tusker House for breakfast. Rides and shows until 3PM. Break at POFQ. Then Kona for Dinner. Then maybe Epcot or drinks at POFQ.

Tuesday, 29th
Epcot: Rides and F&W until mid afternoon. Then MNSSHP in the evening. We’ll do a CS somewhere at MK.

Wednesday 30th
MK all day. CS at CHH. Dinner at B&C. Evening in DHS.

Thursday 1st
DHS all day. Lunch at 50s PTC. Dinner at Tutto Italia. Evening in Epcot.

Friday 2nd
Rockie's choice on the park for her birthday. We will be shopping on this day. Lunch at Le Cellier. (Bitter) Evening in Epcot with a CS meal at Tangerine.

There ya’ have it. I'll keep trying on the Le Cellier for a dinner time. I plan on afternoon breaks at the pool for most of the days. What do you think?

I spied these at Shipshewana:

Hi Fockers!

Hi Kristel - you've been missed:hug:

This past Sunday Doug and I went to see Transformers 2. The film burnt up with 12 minutes to go. We waited 30 minutes and still nothing. Doug was ready to go. We got free movie passes and free drinks for our inconvenience.

At least they gave you tickets to go back and see it! How annoying though!

I never say anything either:guilty: Free is good:thumbsup2

I'm sorry:hug:

:scared1: Although you called this a while back!

There ya’ have it. I'll keep trying on the Le Cellier for a dinner time. I plan on afternoon breaks at the pool for most of the days. What do you think?

Looks great! Keep trying, you might luck out!

I spied these at Shipshewana:

Isn't it funny how you find HIdden Mickey's where you least expect too?!

So Sunday was a day of freebies.

That's good, but the reasons why, not so much. ;)

Oh, my, and yes I know what you mean. A friend of mine went through a non-physical deal with her DH and someone else. He certainly wasn't sleeping around, but a LOT of his mental energies were not with his family. :sad2: They've worked it out (and he's in therapy now) but still...

I plan on afternoon breaks at the pool for most of the days. What do you think?

Looks good! :thumbsup2

Funny, I didn't feel that way when I sent Maddie and Evan to Christian pre-school. :lmao: I probably should have, though. ;)

All 3 of mine went to a Methodist pre-school, but nothing was shoved down their throats.

I got really turned off from Wilson Christian when I read the book list:

Bob Jones University Guide to Math in the Biblical World
Bob Jones University Biblical Approach to Science

See, everyone here thinks I'm crazy. Thanks Mel!
No problemo! I got your back!

I'm off to workout. Gotta get into some sort of shape for vacation. I did get pretty tan, so my fat legs don't look so bad!

Janet said:
Oh you now you both are going to have to do a TR for this little get together::yes:: :yay:
Yep, I think so!!!!

Rose, I have been through this procedure several times, I kind of went back and forth about posting (I feel a little uncomfortable posting specifically personal stuff), but I thought it might make you feel better.

Happy Canada Day!
You too Lessa!

Really? Nope, I never felt that way at all. Moving out was absolutely perfect for me... hence my ill feelings about living with my mother now, at an age pushing 40, lol!
Don't get me wrong. I had A LOT of fun doing things on my own at that age! It's just that if you're asking what I'd do as the parent of that 17 year old, I'd surely chose to protect him. The world is a scary place.

Yep. Sounds like licensing rules may have changed some since I was 17; I had my permit at 15 and full license at 16.
That's the rule here too, SD's just lazy. LOL. However, I'm glad he doesn't have his license yet because he continues to make the kind of decisions that don't exactly make me WANT to let him fly free! IYKWIM?
Anyhow, I guess it's a case of the "former smoker being the WORST critic of smoking." I know what I did at 17. I do NOT want him to do those things at an age that he's really too young to decide those things. Yep. I'm a hypocrite. :rotfl2:

Thank you each and everyone of you for all your HUGS and kind words !!I am SURVIVOR. bout 8 years ago a Mammo shoed something and yes they told me the statistics but it was still cancer . Luckily it was a very very early stage and I ust had radiation and meds for 5 years ! The proceedure itself doesn't scare me it's waiting or the results !!
Juice I too have those cysty breasts which makes mammos even more important !! I thank you for sharing your exprience . Tat's what I love about my Fockers we can share ourthiughts and knowall wewill get in return is hugs , concern and .acceptance.
Hugs to all of you !!
That's right, Rosie.

 Canada Day = Fourth of July

Same deal basically, fireworks, bbqs, drinking, parties.
Yep. We're only an hour from Canada so we can celebrate both if we want....

 I am positively gleeful when choosing which pens I should buy or what colour notebook I want for each class. It is a sickness.
Me too. :sad2:

Apparently trees in Florida are better than trees here. I think I agree :thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a great day
Doesn't it just crack you up when they present their plans, clearly thought out, and are SHOCKED that you aren't going to do it IMMEDIATELY??!!
Gus informed me this morning that if he built a Vandergraaf generator he could produce enough power (if he could only convert it to usable household energy) to run the computer so that our electric bill would go down. LOL. He said he only needs about $50 to build one that makes a million volts or so......OMG! :scared1:

AsBut I had to wait in for FedEx, I missed them yesterday, and they brought me some new Disney Moms Panel cards, they're so cute, they have my photo and name on and are all glossy and lovely :rotfl2: Now I need some people to hand them out too!
:wave2: Uh, hello? Over here!

I need to vacuum - thought I'd take my little Dis break after we cleared and dusted and so forth.

See you soon! :grouphug:
I love your cleaning method. I'll be using it tomorrow....

My mom's walker is coming today and Waldo's got a follow up appt. on his surgery this afternoon, so I'll be in and out all day.

Have a good one!
Hi T! Thinking good thoughts for Waldo and TE.

Mine are upstairs sorting Legos. Didn't they attempt that last summer, too? I was told yesterday that my children have 63 Lego Star Wars sets  I'm done buying Legos.
Yowza! We have tons too. I hate stepping on them! OUCH!

II have nothing interesting to say but just like being here :goodvibes
That's what we're here for! :goodvibes

Hi Fockers!
Hi Mo! I'm IMPRESSED! You are doing a great job of checking in! :thumbsup2

Not much going on here. Bill's parents are coming from Indiana to see us on Friday. On the 4th we will just watch the city fireworks from our balcony. Ace, our dog, doesn't like the noise, but he will come out on the balcony just to be with us.
Sounds nice, and good to "see" you!

Geez, can ya'll tell I'm in a fired-up mood today?! I need to find something about which to write my congress people...
Well, I'd gladly let you write my "fired up" letter but I have a feeling our personal "fired-up appropriate issues" may differ.......LOL
However, I am absolutely STEAMED over something political............:rotfl:

I
What sounds good for dinner? I need ideas.
Dang I'm too late for this.
We had:
Gus- Two eggs, over easy on top of toast. Veggie sausage and o.j.
SD- 10 (yes 10) blueberry pancakes, real maple syrup and veg sausage and o.j.
Me: Eggplant, pasta and turkey meatballs. LARGE glass of water.

Other than that not much going on. I just want all this carp to be over with!
Sorry work sucks!

He's too busy to read. Must fall back in love with his wife whilst not thinking about his soul mate. Yes, Jo he really did say that! :rotfl:
Eh. What a total tool he is. Really. Stop lying, stop cheating and stop being such a freakin tool.
Blech.

*********************
IKEA went well. I bought some things, really just minutia for the house nothing large. Had swedish meatballs with Gus and my friend. Drove home in huge traffic (at 1pm, where the heck are they all going?????) and then made 3 different dinners.
I colored my hair. It says Med. Golden Brown but it's a bit red. :confused3 Tonight (across the street) The Doobie Brothers and Bad Company are playing. I feel bad for anyone who's there, as it is POURING! I guess Bad Co. is the original line-up but the Doobies don't have Michael McDonald, to which I say, "WHY GO THEN????" He's the best one!

Bob comes home tomorrow from Boston! Yay! Then he leaves again on Monday. Oh, and have I mentioned that he's leaving next Friday for Japan again? Ugh.

Hope you are all well.

Wow, he's not staying home and I can't get rid of D... ;)

He's on call for the weekend, but I'd be really surprised if any bigwig wants to go anywhere this weekend, and then I think he's off again Monday and Tuesday next week. Sigh. :rotfl:

***************************************************
D's still struggling trying to get his iTunes library right on the new computer. The kids take turns picking the bedtime story and who will read it, and Woody has picked D (which makes sense as we was gone the last few nights) but D won't get off the computer and take them to bed. Sigh again.

Ah, finally... :rotfl2:

So, yeah, that's been my night. We played Wii Sports as a family after dinner, which was kind of fun (but I suck as much at Wii bowling as I do in real life! :lmao:)

Don't know what else is going on, so I may be back. We have Buzz's best friend coming over pretty much all day tomorrow, so I may be on the computer a lot, since I'll definitely be in the house. ;)

Who the heck is Bob Jones:confused3:rotfl2:

I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with all the talk about religion. This has always been our "safe place" where we can all live life without judging each other.

I would feel better if everyone respected the new rule of not talking about politics and religion that the DIS moderaters are now enforcing. :guilty:

Who the heck is Bob Jones:confused3:rotfl2:
It's a curriculum put out by the Bob Jones University Press that some private schools and homeschoolers use. In fact, I bought the history today for my kids to use this year.

Fair enough. No one seems to be getting mad, but we should keep it that way. I think the school conversation started off innocently enough, but we don't want to slide into murky waters. ;)

Where's guest relations at DTD?

Janet, I'm sorry you don't get to listen to the Braves announcers. They crack me up! LL, you should definitely start if you haven't. :rotfl:

Well I caught up! You have been chatty today!!:lmao:

Kat I hope your back is better !!! Your CM benefits sound awesome!!

My thoughts on the drinking age are this !!!!... They will let you die for your country at 18 but you can't legally buy a Beer .. and this is from a non drinker !!!:confused3

Well Judy and the kids are at the drive in and I have total peac and quiet !!:worship: What's that I hear ..NOTHING:cloud9:

Ok, so I have a question....

Why would a diner put the nutritional value of their menu on a seperate "menu" on the table? :confused3

After we finished our meals at Ruby's Diner, I realized I just ate 1270 calories!!!!!!!! Holy cow!!!! I'm glad I only had a bowl of cereal for lunch and an English muffin for breakfast! :faint:

We will not be returning there any time soon. I can't afford those kinda calories! :scared: But it was goooooood! :ssst:
