I'm off to workout. Gotta get into some sort of shape for vacation. I did get pretty tan, so my fat legs don't look so bad!

Oh you now you both are going to have to do a TR for this little get together
Yep, I think so!!!!
Rose, I have been through this procedure several times, I kind of went back and forth about posting (I feel a little uncomfortable posting specifically personal stuff), but I thought it might make you feel better.
You too Lessa!
Really? Nope, I never felt that way at all. Moving out was absolutely perfect for me... hence my ill feelings about living with my mother now, at an age pushing 40, lol!
Don't get me wrong. I had A LOT of fun doing things on my own at that age! It's just that if you're asking what
I'd do as the parent of that 17 year old, I'd surely chose to protect him. The world is a scary place.

Yep. Sounds like licensing rules may have changed some since I was 17; I had my permit at 15 and full license at 16.
That's the rule here too, SD's just lazy. LOL. However, I'm glad he doesn't have his license yet because he continues to make the kind of decisions that don't exactly make me WANT to let him fly free! IYKWIM?
Anyhow, I guess it's a case of the "former smoker being the WORST critic of smoking." I know what I did at 17. I do NOT want him to do those things at an age that he's really too young to decide those things. Yep. I'm a hypocrite.
Thank you each and everyone of you for all your HUGS and kind words !!I am SURVIVOR. bout 8 years ago a Mammo shoed something and yes they told me the statistics but it was still cancer . Luckily it was a very very early stage and I ust had radiation and meds for 5 years ! The proceedure itself doesn't scare me it's waiting or the results !!

That's right, Rosie.
Canada Day = Fourth of July
Same deal basically, fireworks, bbqs, drinking, parties.
Yep. We're only an hour from Canada so we can celebrate both if we want....

I am positively gleeful when choosing which pens I should buy or what colour notebook I want for each class. It is a sickness.
Me too.
Apparently trees in Florida are better than trees here. I think I agree
Hope everyone has a great day
Doesn't it just crack you up when they present their plans, clearly thought out, and are SHOCKED that you aren't going to do it IMMEDIATELY??!!
Gus informed me this morning that if he built a Vandergraaf generator he could produce enough power (if he could only convert it to usable household energy) to run the computer so that our electric bill would go down. LOL. He said he only needs about $50 to build one that makes a million volts or so......OMG!
AsBut I had to wait in for FedEx, I missed them yesterday, and they brought me some new Disney Moms Panel cards, they're so cute, they have my photo and name on and are all glossy and lovely

Now I need some people to hand them out too!

Uh, hello? Over here!
I need to vacuum - thought I'd take my little Dis break after we cleared and dusted and so forth.
See you soon!
I love your cleaning method. I'll be using it tomorrow....
My mom's walker is coming today and Waldo's got a follow up appt. on his surgery this afternoon, so I'll be in and out all day.
Have a good one!
Hi T! Thinking good thoughts for Waldo and TE.
Mine are upstairs sorting Legos. Didn't they attempt that last summer, too? I was told yesterday that my children have 63
Lego Star Wars sets

I'm done buying Legos.
Yowza! We have tons too. I hate stepping on them! OUCH!
I
I have nothing interesting to say but just like being here
That's what we're here for!
Hi Mo! I'm IMPRESSED! You are doing a great job of checking in!
Not much going on here. Bill's parents are coming from Indiana to see us on Friday. On the 4th we will just watch the city fireworks from our balcony. Ace, our dog, doesn't like the noise, but he will come out on the balcony just to be with us.
Sounds nice, and good to "see" you!
Geez, can ya'll tell I'm in a fired-up mood today?! I need to find something about which to write my congress people...
Well, I'd gladly let you write my "fired up" letter but I have a feeling our personal "fired-up appropriate issues" may differ.......LOL
However, I am absolutely STEAMED over something political............
I
What sounds good for dinner? I need ideas.
Dang I'm too late for this.
We had:
Gus- Two eggs, over easy on top of toast. Veggie sausage and o.j.
SD- 10 (yes 10) blueberry pancakes, real maple syrup and veg sausage and o.j.
Me: Eggplant, pasta and turkey meatballs. LARGE glass of water.
Other than that not much going on. I just want all this carp to be over with!
Sorry work sucks!
He's too busy to read. Must fall back in love with his wife whilst not thinking about his soul mate.

Yes, Jo he really did say that!
Eh. What a total tool he is. Really. Stop lying, stop cheating and stop being such a freakin tool.
Blech.

IKEA went well. I bought some things, really just minutia for the house nothing large. Had swedish meatballs with Gus and my friend. Drove home in huge traffic (at 1pm, where the heck are they all going?????) and then made 3 different dinners.
I colored my hair. It says Med. Golden Brown but it's a bit red.

Tonight (across the street) The Doobie Brothers and Bad Company are playing. I feel bad for anyone who's there, as it is POURING! I guess Bad Co. is the original line-up but the Doobies don't have Michael McDonald, to which I say, "WHY GO THEN????" He's the best one!
Bob comes home tomorrow from Boston! Yay! Then he leaves again on Monday. Oh, and have I mentioned that he's leaving next Friday for Japan again? Ugh.
Hope you are all well.
MEL
