If I may vent a bit....
KC has an old friend who has been moving from home to home, girl to girl, whatever, for years (Since we have known him). The latest is he is in Cali with some girl and her 5 kids. Apparently the girls ex lives with them too(the daddy). This friend had a fight with the ex and is now homeless in L.A. and doesn't have anywhere to go. He wants to come back to NY. He starts whining to KC, who is so nice he is ready to send the deadbeat $$$ for the bus ticket. We almost argue because I do not want to give this kid a cent and KC wants to. In the end KC agreed not to send him anything. But what nerve, right? He better not be looking for a couch to sleep on when and if he gets back to NY. We tried that ONCE and he didn't understand that KC and I wanted him to leave and overstayed his welcome.

Hey, if you keep bailing him out you are not helping him to grow up. He needs to figure it out. It's hard to see good friends go through this kind of thing. How good of a friend are they if all they do is mooch? I suppose he is the kind that only calls when he needs something too??

Yes, as we speak NotBob is driving from Atlanta to Arkansas. It's 9 hours according to his google map. :sad2: They rebooked him on a flight at 7:30 pm tonight and he said, "NO WAY" was he spending another day in the SAME clothes at the dang airport!
Yikes, hope he gets home safely

So, here's the unveiling of B's costume and solo song for this school year...

The skirt Jo's bringing me from GB ;):
Very cute and I'll see you soon ;):rotfl2:

ETA: I wrote this this morning before lunch but apparantly i didn't hit submit
:rotfl:

Reid called last night and Mitch answered the phone. After talking for a few minutes, Mitch hands the phone to me and all I hear is "Mooch?" No, it's Auntie. "Mooch! Mooch!" So Mitch had to talk again. Toddlers are so fickle. :rotfl:
They sure are :rotfl:

Did you take a look at the on-line ressie thing? I looked up Le Cellier for 90 days out. Nothing. I'll be up at midnight to make mine if it will let me in just a few days.
We've asked if you can make ADR's at midnight or have to wait for 7am like the phone lines, I'll let you know :thumbsup2

If I may vent a bit....

Of course! I agree with you do not give him money, if you had loads of it then maybe but you and KC need it  Will you get medical with your new job?

Yep thats exactly the kind of guy he is. You can't ask him over because he will never leave. He was a closer friend a while ago, but KC grew up and we moved on and this guy kept living this weird life. I don't think he ahs had a permanant home in like 8 years.

So, here's the unveiling of B's costume and solo song for this school year...

Hey Hey by Superchick

Here's the shirt and skirt I bought:

The black one with a teal tank under it:
topbottom.jpg

A group of girls wore that tank for one of their performances at Tink's studio. Very Chic! I bet she is excited to work with the choreographer.

Mooch, Mooch... I love it!:)

Afternoon check in.

Watched the NJ girls. I'm sure they have to keep the drama up for the ratings and all, but are you kidding me??!!
I have it on my DVR and am so excited to watch it. I love the drama... as long as I'm not a part of it!
I
They are like the worst friggin train wreck on TV yet I can't stop watching! The seem like the most classless, crazy, spoiled beotches- ever!

:surfweb::scared1:

------------------------------------------------------
Some of you may have heard... I got into an altercation today.

Yes... ME!:scared1:

Whilst at ds's swimming lessons Tink was laying on the bench next to me, whilst she watched and listened to Tinkerbelle on my phone. Apperantly as she laid there she put her foot on a woman. Instead of the woman kindly asking for her to remove her foot... or even alert me to the issue... she grabbed TINK's foot an pushed it off of the bench, almost making her fall off the bench. She then proceeded to yell at my dd and tell her to keep her feet off of her!

I kept my cool.

I asked the woman what was wrong.

I kept my cool.

I assessed the situation. (I really had no idea Tink had put her foot on someone. Had I saw it, I of course would have apologized to the woman and corrected TINK.)

I kept my cool.

I smiled... continuing to keep my cool.

I kindly told the woman that I was shocked at her behavior, after all she is talking about a 4 year old laying on a bench. What mother acts like that to a child, let alone a 4 year old?

The woman demanded an apology.:confused3

I looked at her and told her, "Not in a million years!" A woman who behaves so rudely to a 4 year old child deserves no apology from me or my child. EVER!

I moved TINK to the other side of me, which I was sitting with a friend. My friend laid TINK's head on her and I put her feet on ME!

Tink cried and cried. She was shaking, saying that Mean GURL, is MEAN!

I told her, "Yes Tink, some that there are mean people and that WOMAN is MEAN and ICKY!"

The bad thing... is that we have 5 more lessons in this session. I'm going to have to see that awful woman more.

The good thing is...

I got her picture! And I live in a real small town!

I need a multiple quote for my brain!

I start reading and I think, I can remember to tell uh (enter first need for multiple quote) about my car, a 2003 Mazda MPV. I really like the Mazdas. I think my next car in two years will be a Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon, it's sexy and fast and practical and posh :thumbsup2. Kinda like I see myself ;).

Then it all falls out of my head, and I can't remember, oh, homeschoolmama's daughter's dress is really cute! remembered that!

ummm...

Oh! Yeah, I am watching the jersey housewives. I'm fascinated by it because the lifestyle is really different than the one I lead. I admire how hotly protective they are of their family, I'm embarrassed by the show of wealth, grossed out by the "****ie" pressure :scared1:, and weirded out by the friendships in general. However, I do get a huge kick out of them-I sort of feel like Margaret Mead when I'm watching (did you know she made a lot of that stuff up about the south pacific islanders?!), and it's like it's on a different continent or I've travelled in time/space to watch aliens. Aliens who really have the art of personal decoration down to a Tee!

I'm half done training my replacement at work and things are going really well, she seems to have a good grasp of all the databases and all the balls that have to be simultaneously in the air. The only thing that I'm slightly freaked out about is she keeps her phone in her bra and the thing rings all day long and she reaches down the front of her shirt and grabs it and answers it a lot. I had told the creative director (a young guy) about it yesterday and he was explaining something to her today and her ****s started ringing and he nearly lost it, he was *killing* himself to keep a straight face :lmao:.

The advertising director was like "oh you need to tell her she can't do that" and I'm like, she's ten years older than I am, she's not going to appreciate etiquette correction from me at all! (and I really don't want her to quit).

I've been working a 6 hour day all week and the house is a wreck because when I get home I'm tired, I've been in the car for two hours (one up, one back from work) I want to sit down with the laptop and a cup of tea for an hour and chill, but when I do that the house, um, well, it gets a fast once over but it's just not cleaned when I'm not home.

The boss, on the other hand, was like, wow, when you're here all the time your desk is so neat (I had time today to clean up when my replacement was training at another desk). :confused3 I can only clean one habitat at a time, I guess!

She sounds nasty especially as Tink is the cutest thing ever and she has tiny feet, was laughing at the photo and smal town bit though :rotfl2:

Hope you get to spend less time at work soon oh and we love Mazdas they last for ever :thumbsup2

Thanks for the compliments on the costume. I was trying to go with rocker ballerina. It was hard to find something that wasn't goth or $exy or trashy... :rolleyes1 Her teacher from SA is coming to teach her the dance. It's nice since she already knows B's style and strentghs. :thumbsup2

Krystal- You're inspirational with how you deal with all the chemo and everything. You're very strong. :goodvibes

Jen- I can't believe how horrid that woman was. So, what's the plan with the picture? popcorn::

Jo- Thanks for the door to door service with the costume. :rotfl:

KJJ- I'm glad the training is going well. :thumbsup2

Kat- :yay: Yeah, it's SYTYCD night!!!

Dawn, I apologize for the utter stupidity of this question, but is that for Baylie to perform in now, or at the end of next year.
Very cute costume, though.

Well......I'm sick of being sick. It's official. :rotfl2:

Why is Kickapoo Blank Blank (sorry forget your name) worried about posting her picture?
Are you a vampire? Don't show up in photos?

Maybe you're ***GASP*** a SUPERMODEL?

LOL

Just funnin' ya...

MEL:banana:

I'm the one in the middle in the beautiful striped one piece outfit (oh so easy for bathroom emergencies ), the other two girls are my cousins...can you find them in my wedding photo?

I just tried to make a reservation for the heck of it and it won't work...it insists on the ages of the boys, but won't give me a drop down to let me enter it. Kinks, I suppose. BUT, a very cool option :thumbsup2

I tried to retrieve my current ressies and they keep telling me I am putting in the wrong phone number.:confused3

Jo- I just ordered a skirt from GB for B's solo costume. Can you hand deliver it for me?

Oh good Jo, if you are coming anyway can you bring Jimmy some of those candies you gave him in August. He is still talking about them and when we go out he is always on the lookout for them. Do they sell them at EPCOT:idea:

I have to go to Walmart this am because when I went to do laundry, there's no soap. Who didn't tell me?! I was at the stupid store at 9pm last night!

I hate that...and usually it's my self that I'm ticked at because I only do the laundry.

Janet- When the bosses are away the people shall play! On the DIS! :yay:

:sad2:

I get more info from you than anywhere else

See that's why I need to be on the mom's panel next year ::yes::

Well, it's still pouring buckets of rain. My tummy still hurts. No new news....
(Hey, that reminded me.....Gno Gnews is Good Gnews with Gary Gnu!) Does anyone else remember that??????

Gary Gnu Gnews!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAwVIZDAUF0Gus is at Lego Robotics camp (his first time) and he's loving it!!! Can't wait for him to join the middle school team! [/QUOTE]

Jimmy has Lego Robotics next week at camp. He can't wait!

So, here's the unveiling of B's costume and solo song for this school year...

Very cool!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know about this great site i signed Bug up with. For a little money you can even add on adults in the family. I did not need to do this since I have several coupons for free games. I got them off of the Tony's pizza box. Anyway Bug can play two free games a week or day, not sure, all summer long.http://www.kidsbowlfree.com/index.php
