Mine were mostly black and white. My photographer was using two cameras (one colored film, one black and white) ~ He forgot which camera he was shooting with and took almost all black and white! which wouldn;t have been half bad.. but they can't be converted to color, where as color can be converted to black and white. I bet you were beautiful!

I love seeing the wedding pictures. I have some somehwere in my closet.

The car is going to be bad. It's the catalytic converter, which apparently just broke apart. IF it broke and then pieces got sucked through the pipes and exhaust, we'll have to replace that whole thing, too. Sigh. They're going to do the converter and have a look at the exhaust, and call us back. Gah.

Tink is calmed down today. She says, "hers bumpies are still ouchie". DS is at his book club, then we are having a picnic, followed by swimming lessons for ds, playdate for both and lastly t-bal for TINK. It's her first time ever playing... should be fun! She picked herself out a pink mit and pink balls. (thats my girl!).

Last night, I had just fallen into a deep sleep... when our house alarm went off! It scared the bgeebers out of me. I couldn't fall back asleep, as I was too scared that someone was inside. In hind sight it was just the garage door not shut tightly and it popped open. Maybe I have seen too many horror movies or something... I'm just a big baby!


If I can figure out how to scan, I'll post a wedding picture.

Got some sad news my friends. My DH said he doesn't want to go to US for his birthday in September. I am so disappointed. THis was going to be just the two of us and he says he just can't go without the kids and we can't afford to bring the kids so soon so he wants me to cancel the trip. I got us a supersaver rate at the hard rock hotel which came to about $171/night which is awesome plus we got free tickets to US for the two of us. It was going to be a pretty cheap long weekend and I was all excited about it.

But he said he wants to go to the mountains to go skiing or snowboarding or something. I have never been skiing because I hate being cold and honestly just don't want to try it. It just doesn't appeal to me. It is his birthday so I guess he should have some input but good grief. Can't an obsessive planner catch a break?

I just don't know what to do. He is the one who wanted us go to so I tried to work it out and now he changes his mind. I love him but right now I am a little frustrated with him.

Hi, we went down to see Kassie DePaiva again. We went to her fan club breakfast last year during CMA Fest. She plays Blair on One Life to Live on ABC daytime. We went to the ABC Block Party and saw a lot of the soap stars too. Bill wanted to go again this year, I did too and we decided to take my son and his g/f. She had an absolute blast and kept thanking us over and over again for taking them.

I'm glad you posted this. I haven't wanted to see the movie at all, but was starting to wonder if I should since (almost) everyone thought it was great. I'll stick to my original decision.

bummer about your car. Mine just cracked 86k and I just had the oil pan replaced to the tune of 600 bux. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can get two more years out of it (it's 6 years old)

I loved EVERYONE'S photos, but I was very intrigued by the red velvet band at the bottom of this dress-that's really cool and edgy. Loved how it tied the whole wedding together.

Ok, maybe don't cancel it, but plan something else like you think he wants to do, and then show it to him, all planned out and see if he likes it. Maybe it's just the reality of a trip vs. the fantasy of a trip that's weirding him out. Maybe if he saw a skiing trip planned out (don't forget to make it WAY more expensive ), it would look less interesting than the US trip?

I've been at work a LOT the past two days training my replacement. She's doing well, although today her chest started ringing and she pulled a cellphone out of her bra . I told the creative director she's going to fit right in since we're all a little cracked. It will be nice to just stick to calendar writing duties and not a mountain of filing and database stuff anymore.

I'm even looking forward to having more time to , although that may wear off fast

Sorry for being MIA these past few days. I was spending time with the kiddos and trying to get them all packed up before they left to go with their father for the summer. They left this morning around 5 and I just talked with the ex and they are almost near Nashville. They are spending the summer in Loisianna. It will be a whole new world for the kids being down there. I know it was for me the first time we went there. They'll have lots of fun though.

T, you can't tease us like that. We must see the dress! DH and I were married in the Rockville, MD county building by the JOP. I wore a terra cotta colored dress from the Gap. It's up in my closet....a few sizes too small.

This is just a snap shot from someone's camera. My professional photos are put away. That dress is frightening! See all the lace applique? I had them add MORE bling to those. And the train is INSANE! I had crystals added to all the way up to the butt bow. YES, I said BUTT BOW. I don't know what I was thinking. I think it weighed 50 pounds. Oh and the petticoat was sewn into it, so yes it really did stand up on it's own. They had to put it over a chair, so I could climb from the bed to the chair and then get down. It was a riot!

The main criticisms voiced on our discussion forums and review pages are the total lack of shade for the guests and a poor story line. It isn't clear yet what changes will be made to the show, but with the facility that was built, you can expect some kind of rework or new show to appear quickly.

So my hour and a half of Disney was cool. Paperwork- meh. I was def the oldest one there and the only married one. Most were like college age kids. When they asked who has been to any Disney Park me and 2 other people raised their hands....there were 9 of us in the "class"!! Seriously, it's two hard weeks of work, but I think it will be OK. But why do I agree to this stuff?

Thanks... Mine has 130,000+ miles and is 7 years old, so it kind of makes sense that it's falling apart. I just wanted one more year, as we bought a boat this spring. D's is also 7 years old, a few less miles... They're just getting old. Sigh. What do you drive? Do you like it? Has it been reliable? (Can you tell I'm in the market for a good car or two? )

Hmmm, made a yummy dinner, and now Woody has chosen D to go read the story, so...

The dog didn't feel well today, so there were some messes to clean up. Poor dog, but poor me, too.

I don't want to push, and to each his own, but I totally disagree with KJJ - just keep in mind that many of us loved it. I promise, my kids did, too. The elements in the list she posted are there, but frankly, they're there in nearly EVERY Disney movie - you can look at The Lion King and see many of the same elements. (Trying to kill the "kid", characters falling to their death, Death, etc.)

There are many, many funny moments, too, and some super touching ones. I definitely thought there was "joy" in the outcome. Just my $.02 - no offense intended to those who don't like it.

ITA. And so far I've only heard of 2 people not enjoying it besides crazy Janet. Love ya, J!
