Happy Monday! I survived Scrapfest at the Mall of America. I heard well over 10,000 people attended. I'm still exhausted from standing on long lines for make and take projects. But all in all, it was fuN! Now I need to clean up my house! My DH decided to shampoo the carpets whilst I was away this weekend. He basically put everything up on shelves, couches, chairs, tables and now I need to clean it all up. At least the carpets are clean!

I did it I booked my Italy trip, what better way to get over my post Disney depression.

I'm in a pissy mood today , but thought I'd stop in to check out what's new.

I hope things are better today - and I hope THEY cleaned up that new kitchen of yours

But, I do finally have the family cold, so I felt like total crud all day and all I want to do is sleep.

Uggh, just got over one hope you are all better soon!

So then later that day 2 other kittens looked like they wouldn't make it. They were lethargic and disoriented. I was at a loss to what to do. Went to the PetStore and picked up some kitten vitamin stuff and had to force feed it to them, but nothing. I kept checking up on them and Finally they were more alert and I gave them some kitten milk I had bought and they ate. I was so relieved! I am glad to report they're all fine now.

so sad about the one little kitty - I'm glad the others are doing better (I have a soft spot for furry friends.)

Decking is half done and looking pretty good, David and I escaped all day as D hates hearing building work as he always thinks they're going to knock the whole house down So we went to play golf but it was so busy so we went to the supermarket instead. Then we decided to go for a walk and as I'd forgotten to get some $'s we went back to the supermarket. Quick lunch then back to golf club for 9 holes, I'm now waiting for Jess to get home to go do 9 holes with her Oh and tomorrow I have the big autumn meeting at yep the golf course

Yes, definitely pictures of the deck when done (I'd LOVE to have a deck, I don't even have a porch like Janet, I have a stoop - we did some white-trash "stoop hopping" last night

Nothing exciting here today. Finishing laundry and ironing. Hopefully I'll be able to stay up to watch the the entire football game tonight, but I don't think so.

THe Cherrydale assembly was a huge success. Jimmy was excited to see me at achool but was then ticked off becasue he wasn't going to his after school program

Came home...did homework. HAd dinner and now we are just going to hang out for a bit before bath and bed time.

Tomorrow is the IEP Meeitng first thing in the morning. Will let you know how it goes.

I'm sure I will be back at some point, but Jimmy wants to play a video game tight now so I will see you all later

So, I guess I'm ready to leave tomorrow.

I mean, I really, really need this trip. So, I'm ready but I feel so weird that I've been so busy I have no real plans. There's a lot of 'see what we want to do' going on and while I'm really glad, it's strange, YKWIM?


K's working late tonight and B's at dance. Tonight's the night they try out for their dances for B's team. They have been told everyone will be in 2 dances, but there are 4 dances. So, whatever your best two are, that's the ones you'll dance in. B and her BFF, H asked last Monday and found out that they will be in all three of the dances they know right now. I'm so proud.
They are rookies and the youngest of the group, but they have worked really hard and committing to go to every squad practice (5) when they only are required to go to one a month. They learn the last dance (a kick dance to the Dixie Chicks song Let 'Er Rip) this weekend while we're gone. I know B will work hard to make that dance too and I'm glad she has experience with kick since they did a Christmas kick dance last year. It'll also help with try-outs next year for the high school team.

Sorry, I like dance. I get carried away. I've been searching for weeks for a cute pair of zebra print shoes to wear to competitions since that's our theme. Hot pink and zebra print!

I'm sure I'll say bye tomorrow. So I'll just wish everyone good night.

Angela: I wish I could keep them because they're so adorable, but I already have 3 cats. There's no way I can keep 5 more. We're just keeping them until they're old enough to get adopted. Hopefully I can find another place that's willing to take this litter too.

Good Morning all. Good news here. I can walk around my house without sunglasses on. RIght eight completely clear. Left eye almost there

You'll all like this one. I got a bill from the Polk COunty EMS, for my little ambulance ride to the hospital when I was in Florida.

Heart of Florida Hospital is 12 miles from my parent's house. The bill was $708.00. $600 to "transport" me and the get this they charge $9.00 per mile Thankfully I only have to send them my insurance information and they are paying it, but still $9.00 a mile, really???

I also forgot to tell you this part....
When they were taking me out, the walked me out to the gurney (Door on the double wide too small). When they did, it was under the carport, but it had started raining. To get me to the ambulance they covered me in a white blanket. Do you realize the commotion THAT caused ina 55 and over community?

Morning! What a week... again. It's just been one of those "when it rains, it pours" times I guess. Work's calming down, but I'm still dealing with parenting issues. I'm just mentally and emotionally exhausted at this point. I think I need a week-long NAP!

Hey girls!

I had a nice long 10 hour sleep last night and I needed it! I worked 32 hours over the weekend. 8 hours on, 8 hours off all weekend. I don't know why I let my coworkers talk me into this stuff!

School is still going well, all the classes are really easy right now so I am kinda bored but I guess that is better than them being super hard and getting stressed. My English prof said that I should teach the class since I have a more recent degree in English than he does. No thanks!

BA is still in bed---she has an upper respiratory infection and is having to use her nebulizer frequently. I hope she feels better today but is usually takes a while.

They do the date,weather, etc every morning and he LOVES graphing the weather THings are sooooo much better this year. Hope things keep up.

The walk wasn't bad (not one of jo's five milers, but....). It's a nice day out and it's not really hot so that was a good thing.

Tonight is Back to School Night, so we are eating pizza for dinner so Jim and I can go to that. OUr neighbor's son (who is also a teacher) is going to watch Jimmy for us. I sort of got my BAck to SChool spiel this morning, but we are still going, etc!

I am excited finally. I've been so busy I couldn't really think about the trip. but now that everyone is at school and K's leaving work in a few hours, I'm ready!

Nah. I didn't see any shoes I want. Where did you see the ones you're talking about?
Target has zebra flip flops which would be perfect if they weren't FUR LINED! Isn't that so weird? If you want a flip flop, you don't need just those little strips on your feet to be warm...

Mitch and I are going to MNSSHP for our anniversary. Jo I think the same night you are! I called the AP holder number to ask if I could purchase tickets at DTD so I could pay cash. When I got to DTD this morning, I was informed I had to purchase those tickets online. And the lady on the phone didn't mention this why? There is only a $3.00 difference but I was really annoyed. Also I didn't know you have to spend at least $50.00 to get a Disney Visa discount at WoD. Of course I did, but still.

Are we doing a gift and/or ornament exchange this year? I saw some cute things out there.
