I finally told Mitch I got tickets to the Giants/Bucs game Sunday for our anniversary. He was so excited! I knew he would be, just not how much. He's decided we're spending the night in Tampa, having dinner, tailgating, and how knows what else! Now he's totally fine with going to MNSSHP party, which he really didn't want to do!

I need to pre-assemble my dinner for tonight. The oven has a cool function where I can program it to start whilst I'm gone and "hold warm" until I turn it off, so that's cool. Poppyseed chicken tonight! But, I need to saute the chicken and so forth first.

That's what we are having tomorrow

Got the laundry done (most of it anyway, still need to take the comforter to the laundromat). ran the dishwasher and was thisclose to finishing cleaning our bedroom when I knocked our wedding picture off the wall and shattered the entire GLASS frame. Luckily had slippers on, but right now it is all over the room, becasue I can't see well enough to clean it up with out shredding my hands. So, I am at a standstill until Jim get home, I am so at myself too!

I feel slightly better about Book Fair from the corporate end - the questions and issues I have now are dealing within the school and the PATT, and so on, so that's not as bad. I have people I can ask about that.

So, I burned my leg with spattering oil from sauteing the chicken. The burn is in the shape of a drip, though, which is funny.

But, I just need to remember to program it before I go, and I should be close to being set! I'll need to make noodles, but that won't take long. It's also possible that D will get back before we do - he was just going out to the library or whatever to do some computer stuff.

Leo and I have had a very rough time adjusting to his dad's move across the country. But not necessarily in the ways I'd have expected... Leo's behavior is 1000% better with Dad out of the picture entirely.

Aarrgghh, V - I feel sorry that you have to go through this. And, Bonehead sounds like a kind term to use. I can tell from your writing what a wonderful mother you are and Leo is very lucky to have that. I can vouch for the positive effect that martial arts has on kids too - that's a good move I wish for you that things settle down and smooth out - quickly. And, a Lapu Lapu probably can't hurt

So, I'm getting dressed for work this morning and pull out a knit top from my cabinet - from the middle of the stack mind you - put it on and kind of see a splotch on the front out of the corner of my eye. I look down and........it's a STINKBUG!!!! A live one!! I have an almost irrational fear of bugs - and one of my fears is that they'll get on me . I don't think my heart has stopped racing yet. Ugh!

I have no idea what a stinkbug is but it sounds gross

Oh, so the stinkbugs haven't invaded Britain yet?? They came into our area 3 or 4 years ago (my office at work was overrun with them that first year, it was awful!). They look like something from the prehistoric era and they STINK when you smoosh 'em! Yuck

Rockie's mom is not going to make it. The family is convening tomorrow to make a final decision. Her mother did not want to be put on any life support and that is where it is headed if things progress. Their option is to stop all treatments except for pain and let her go. They want everyone together for that event. It is very sad.

I have to work the next 3 nights and of course, if/when anything happens I will get a call. We don't know how soon it will all end.

I may not be around for a few days.

Sorry for not postng yesteday ! Came home from work very sick almot went to ER!! Have a bad cough and cold and couldn't catch my breath!! An inhaler of the girs helped and good nights sleep with lots of medicine and I am alittle better today!!
