My hearing aid is broke.... they had to send it back to the factory---she said they made it so small to fit my ear that the material was too thin...
I am NOT happy.

I got all of my ideas for the DIS creative boards. There may be a few sayings there that you like. I'd start there. There's a ton of sites that have graphics and cute sayings. Sorry. It's not my forte.

So, I kept today open to have a playdate with the boys best twin girl friends (and their mom is one of my best friends) but I tried to call her this morning and haven't heard back yet. Darn.

D is off flying but will be back later tonight.

My dad had his gall bladder removed yesterday, and it seemed to go well. I just tried to call but didn't get through - no machine so I think that they ignored my call waiting.

The boys are off playing at the neighbor's. I still have 11 pages to catch up on, but I'm trying.

I wound up reading all night last night - I should have tried to catch up then. Doh.

Then I tossed and turned. I remember looking at the clock at 3:11 and thinking, "I don't think I've slept at all yet." Luckily the boys slept in pretty late. Still, I'm tired and grouchy.

Off to try to catch up more! See you soon!

Long story short, both Kinzee (the faker) and Cori (the cookie hound) are going to live...$300 later.

As I was leaving...and this is the best part...the vet slips me his card with his number on it. Apparently, he finds me hilarious and cute. So, there was an upside to the night.

Now...good-night. I'm off to sleep some before my interview tomorrow. And to dream about dear Dr. Dugger.

Day number two of no food... the world is looking bleak. I think I might chew on my mouse cord in a few minutes.

My kids slept until 10:30 this morning. Not much planned for us. I need to run down to the store to get a few things. We're going to a 4th of July party at my aunts on Friday and we were told to bring desserts. I'm think we'll definately do cupcakes but want to do something light as well. Maybe a strawberry pretzel salad.

I promised the kids we'd walk up to the dollar store as well and then hit Dairy Queen that is across the steet for lunch.

Things with my divorce settlement have seemed to slow down a bit. The thing now that has me kind of down is that stupid ex hasn't even bothered to call his kids for 2 weeks. Yeah great...send me money but call them as well! I can't complain too much since they really don't ask about him or even mind him not calling. It just hurts me knowing what wonderful kids we have and he's missing out on so much!

I have a trip planned for the kids and I to The World in December. It's my 30th birthday present to myself and my best friend was to be coming with us. Well, she quit her job yesterday and might not be coming now. In one way it's a GOOD thing that she quit her job because she was working for a witchie poo (BFF was a nanny/housekeeper) but a bad thing because she's now jobless. So I'm now having two sets of plans for my vacation and might be going and booking a few extra ADR's.

Wow you guys are chatty today! I just logged on for the first time this morning and had to read through five pages! Let's see... what's going on....

Janet - Jimmy looks pretty proud of his battle scars, but I do agree that my girls normally hurt themselves on Daddy's watch too!

Dawn - I'll be praying for your surgery tomorrow. Hopefully everything "comes out" okay this afternoon. My mom had a hysterectomy three years ago and had to do all the same things as you. I think they want to make sure there's nothing in your system in case there are attachments to your intestines, etc. Don't want you to go septic! That would be bad!

Jo - congrats on post # 13,000! I guess if I de-lurked a bit more, I could boost my post count...

Jen - my dog ate a chocolate bunny back in April and it was the start of a very bad week for me. I hope yours ends up much better - maybe with a date with a vet and a new job!!!

Katt - hope you're feeling better soon. My DD7 had strep last month and then I caught something too. I was laid flat for six days with a fever up over 102. The antibiotics didn't work for me, so here's hoping they work for you!

V - have a great weekend at WDW! Wish I was going with you!

TE - Sorry to hear about your hearing aid! I hope you get it back soon!!!!

CE - well, since the playdate didn't work out, I guess you can finally catch up on here, right?

I'm just sitting here this morning waiting for the DirecTV installation guy to finish up. DH bought an HD flat screen TV a few weeks ago and we're getting an upgraded HD dish installed today! Can't wait to watch the Wimbledon final in HD! That and the Olympics!!! Of course, DH is looking forward to watching all of his SciFi classics on it!

I'm headed to the YMCA to workout later this afternoon. And then I'm going scrapbooking tonight. Otherwise, I'm just trying to keep from beating the children!

So, I'm back from my interview. and I basically got offered this job...just have to meet with the director of the program...working with emotionally disturbed and developmentally delayed preschoolers. We'll see. It's very intriguing!

Nwo these are the details we are looking for.

And yes he is a DR, and in my book, it is a lot harder to get into vet schools then medical school. Vets have to be soooooo smart to learn all about the different species that they treat. Heck human dr's only need to know one species, not so impressive.
