miles 13.4 miles (includes doubled 5K miles)

Minor heel pain/injury is keeping me down, but not out right now, but I am trying to be selective about my running---so far it seems to be improving over the long run (no pun intended).

Met my goal of 100 miles of running and 200 miles of biking for the month of May.:cool1:
So while JRT and me are cooling down from the run I will post my weekly #s.

Miles: 67.96
Hours: 7

There are 2 LRs I left my watch at home. But I just estimated my normal pace for them. I am now doing some of my runs untimed so I can enjoy them more.

Here are my totals for the week:

16 miles
3.2 hours

Note to self: To avoid feeling like a couch potato, try not to post right after Christa. :rotfl2: All kidding aside, Christa, your numbers are amazing! :thumbsup2

Ok, keep in mind that while my mileage is still pathetic, I am getting better at this. And I atleast added minutes with my oter exercise!

Wow Mel, those are some great miles. Are you training for anything right now?

I included the 4 hrs of mulching that we did last Saturday as that was worse than doing weight. Not much milage but have been doing alot of cross training stretch, spin, pump, and elipical.

Debra(and all others): Thanks for the donation to Linda and myself. This has been a very slow road as tomorrow will be 10 weeks since surgery:( I was able to move around the house for the first time with any aids(crutches or cane). I still move slowly and with a limp but it is the first step forward.

I have been laying low after some issues with a previous post as we did feel overly welcome on WISH. I will be starting up at local gym with Linda after we RD a 50K/25K race on Sun. I hope to post our progress as we head towards DL 1/2(& 5K).

Everyone has done a great job and the team is smoking!

Robert, if anyone has earned their place on this forum it's you buddy. You are often the voice of reason when dorks like me are off chasing a dream. I think your vast gallery of pics and reports makes this forum much more solid, does to me anyway.

Jeanne, I want to give you an hour of stretching and pilaties each for Robert and Linda for this week. Those folks are aces and I'm proud to call them friend.

Becides if I slip over here I might get a chance to hug some of the hot princesses of the Ohana Team. ((((((((((((Jeanne))))))))))))))):cloud9:

Scampering off now Panda:hippie:

For the week ending June 7:

9 miles
103 minutes

It was a bad week for me. For some reason, I couldn't get motivated :confused3 . I'm hoping that next week will be better.

I've been reporting for weeks ending on Friday. I've noticed that others are ending weeks on Saturday. Did I miss the memo? Should we be reporting our weeks ending on Saturday? If so, I'll adjust.
Thanks

Denny: initially, the spreadsheet was set up for everyone to report Saturday thru Friday. A couple of people remarked that their Garmins were set to keep track of their miles but it was based on a Sunday thru Saturday week. I told them to do whetever was easiest for them, as long as we are not losing or double- counting any days. In the end, it will all even out. When they redid the spreadsheet, they tweaked it even more so that each month ends on the actual last day of the month and the last week may be actually more than a week. In the interest of keeping it simple, I told everyone to just keep posting exactly as they have in the past and to forget about when the month ends. As a result, our last week for May actually had 2 weeks worth of miles/minutes, but that's because we ended April early. Personally, I think if a week ends in Month B but also includes Month A, then all the miles should go into Month B and just keep it simple. I think they are trying to be more accurate, but it really doesn't matter. What doesn't get into one month, will end up being reported in another. Soooo, in answer to your question, do whatever is easiest for you. The only time we will have to watch it will be the very last week of the competition so we all end on 12/31..... however that falls. Got it?
