TEAM #6: OHANA-No One Gets Left Behind:Post your miles/hours here

Robert and Linda: :woohoo: on the walking and biking! If anyone is capable of being ready for DL, it's you! Welcome back to posting for Ohana--we've sure missed you!! :cool1:

Christa:  on the injuries. Christa, I hope your IT band pain is subsides--quite running so far out! (Where is that waggy finger smilie?)

Julie: my household injury involved being stupid with a stepstool!

Maria: Those are awesome miles you're putting up. Looks like your new plan is really working.

The rest of my Ohana family: We rock with our consistency, don't you think?

WEEKLY TOTALS
MILES: 88.29 (6.7 miles R, W, or R/W, for those who care; aborted my running plans after that above-mentioned stepstool injury)
TIME: 8:48 (8.80 in decimal format)

Julie: my household injury involved being stupid with a stepstool!

Debra, sorry to hear that you experienced a household injury as well, but I'm kind of glad to know I'm not the only one who does things like this! :lmao:

Linda and I are slowly getting my leg back in shape which includes my longest walk of 1.6 miles yesterday. Still with full leg brace. 3 weeks ago I couldn't move with a cane(or crutches). 10 more weeks to DL 1/2 & 5K. This week I started "moving" around the house without any brace:banana:

Linda: 16.3 miles 8.25 hrs
Robert: 16.3 miles 8.25 hrs

Good job everyone and have a great rest of the weekend!

wk ending 6/20

8h30min
20.71 miles

I did: walking, biking, elliptical, PT, softball, weights

I am putting this icon in just because I like it and think the flames at the end are funny: :furious:

I'm going to be sub-par for a few weeks, last Tuesday I was rear-ended on the road while stopped in traffic, suffering a minor back injury. The medical people have nixed activity for a while. I don't know which is sadder, that I can't exercise after I finally broke past a long-standing weight plateau or that I made my 3rd car payment the next day!
Fortunately, at this point my back could be worse, so I hope that is a good sign. With any luck I'll be back on the road in a couple weeks...

Before the collision I had:
miles 10.2
minutes 158
for this week

Richard -- I'm so sorry this happened to you! Please recover quickly and be well! I know back injuries are tricky....Consider yourself covered in :grouphug: and pixiedust: I also hope you are able to use your downtime to read...I'm sure you've got a few gems tucked away you haven't been able to get to yet! :goodvibes

Maria

Richard,

I'm so sorry to hear about your car accident. That's terrible news in so many ways--mostly the injury, but your car too! pixiedust: and  for you. I hope there's no permanent problems with your back. You be sure to take it easy and take extra-good care of yourself!

Miles/Minutes for me--no real time to do the breakdown:

112.80; 10:53 (10.88 in decimal format)

Richard, sorry to hear of your accident. Give yourself some time to recover. Don't want to jump back too soon and make thinks worse.

For last week, I had 12.8 miles, and 2 hours, 23 minutes .

Oh Richard, I'm so sorry about your accident. What a bummer. Even though it sounds like you sustained some injuries, I'm thankful that it wasn't worse. Please take care of yourself so you will heal quickly and completely. Be sure to keep us updated on your progress. Team Ohana is pulling for you!
Sending you    and :pixiedust: :pixiedust: :pixiedust:

Oooops, I came here to post my own activity and got sidetracked when I saw the news about Richard.....

For the week ending 6/20:

8.31 miles; 7:17 hours/minutes

Sorry folks... not too hot for me again. I am really hoping this week will be my week to get back on track!

2 miles
1:30 hours

Richard, sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you (and your car) are well soon!

Not a great week for me. I pulled something in my leg, so I only ran once. And this time it had nothing to do with standing in toyboxes. :lmao:

7.15 miles / 80 min

My thanks to all of you for your kind remarks wishing me a speedy recovery. I am feeling better at his point--but still have some recovering to do. I am working, which is good on several levels (I can be thankful I am the General Manager, which gives me lots of ability to control my own schedule!!). The worst part of it all is that I won't know until seeing the doctor tomorrow when I'll be able to resume running.

The repair shop told me yesterday that it will be around 30 days for the repairs to be completed, maybe a bit longer.

Thanks again for your love and support!!!!!

Oh my goodness, it seems our team has had more than its fair share of injuries!
Please take care of yourselves and get better real soon. :thumbsup2

Richard: I'm hoping your insurance will let you have a free rental car in the meantime. Will you be able to keep it for the entire time your car is in the shop?
