TEAM #6: OHANA-No One Gets Left Behind:Post your miles/hours here

Denny: initially, the spreadsheet was set up for everyone to report Saturday thru Friday. A couple of people remarked that their Garmins were set to keep track of their miles but it was based on a Sunday thru Saturday week. I told them to do whetever was easiest for them, as long as we are not losing or double- counting any days. In the end, it will all even out. When they redid the spreadsheet, they tweaked it even more so that each month ends on the actual last day of the month and the last week may be actually more than a week. In the interest of keeping it simple, I told everyone to just keep posting exactly as they have in the past and to forget about when the month ends. As a result, our last week for May actually had 2 weeks worth of miles/minutes, but that's because we ended April early. Personally, I think if a week ends in Month B but also includes Month A, then all the miles should go into Month B and just keep it simple. I think they are trying to be more accurate, but it really doesn't matter. What doesn't get into one month, will end up being reported in another. Soooo, in answer to your question, do whatever is easiest for you. The only time we will have to watch it will be the very last week of the competition so we all end on 12/31..... however that falls. Got it?

Got It! Thanks:thumbsup2

Wow Mel, those are some great miles. Are you training for anything right now?

Not anymore. We just canceled two race trips. I'm just working on building up my base mileage and thinking about losing the intervals.

6/7 5 miles 62 min

Total 10 miles 133.5 min

for the week ending 6/6

246 minutes
15.8 miles (includes double for local 5K called David's Dream Run...that would be David the "Bubble Boy" from the late 70's/early 80's if anyone here remembers hearing of him)

Richard, wasn't the Bubble Boy the subject of an afternoon special? Anyone here remember those?

Okay, from moving weekend....

Sorry this is late. I have just felt bad b/c my milage was so low this week due to not biking. I just dont want to let any of you guys down. :worried:

Time: 13 hours
Miles: 27.49 total

26.35 - Running
1.14 - Swimming

Sorry I am late, too. We had a crazy weekend with lots of graduation parties. This is for the week ending the 6th.

Miles: 7.3 running
Time: 4 hours 3 minutes (pilates, wii fit, and running)

Here are mine:

8.27 mi; 8:03 hr/min

Sorry that it's not more, but it was my son's moving weekend. I did give myself 2 hours exercise time for carrying heavy stuff up a long flight of stairs in the sweltering heat. If that wasn't a workout, I don't know what is.

Still alot of people who have not yet reported......:confused3

Delinquent! For the week ending 6/6:

18.74miles
6hr 8min

I did: walking, DDR, Wii Fit, biking, PT, weights, & softball. Fun fun fun!

It looks like I am first to post this week.

Miles 10.8

Time 5hr 25 minutes

Another good week of mixed training: Walking, Pilates, Spin class, elipical, stretch and yard work.

Nancy

Another lousy week for me. I had to skip a day of runnung due to injury (injury caused by my stupidity, not by running). Also, I've been running slower than usual, but I don't know why. :confused3

9.91 miles
115 minutes

If only I could figure out how much distance I cover and how much time I spend chasing a toddler around every day. My numbers would be much higher! :lmao:

Here it is....I think I am having IT Band issues...figured that out around mile 5 of a 10 mile run...but what do you do? Gotta get back...and it is 5 miles if you go on or if you turn back.

Miles: 41.15
Hours: 9

You can look at my WO blog if you care to know where the miles came from.:thumbsup2

Linda and I can start posting as I am "walking" now :yay: . Still have my giant surgical brace that goes from ankle to hip and only do 30 Min/mile. It was about 4 pounds:eek:

We went to gym twice for just recumbant bike to get my quad back.

Totals:

Linda: 10 total miles 3 hrs
Robert: 8.5 total miles 3 hrs( Linda goes twice as fast as I can do on bike:( )

11 1/2 weeks down and ??? more :rolleyes1 I guess 11 more weeks only as that's when DL 1/2 & 5K are:scared1:

Great job everyone!!!
