Ok so we are going over our plans & we have a few questions????????

I guess the easiest way to do it is just list the questions.....
~ We are planning on trying to do US/IOA in one day & then AK/HS in one day, we are trying to get there early if possible but we are thinking of breakfast? We know that the Gingerbread House opens at 8 does anyone know what time the cart for breakfast comes around? The girls & I don't really eat a big breakfast & we are trying to get to the parks early but we don't want to waste money ~ Any suggestions????

~ How far is GKTW from the parks? On Friday we are planning on going to Epcot in the morning then MK late afternoon/night is it worth going back to GKTW to eat lunch/early dinner?

~ SW & US/IOA offer a food plan do you think it is worth buying this ? It is about $25 an adult & $15 a child to eat for the day.

~ We don't want to waste alot of $ on food if we can eat for free.... but we want to have enough time in the parks.

We have my parents, my brother & his girlfriend meeting us there so we know that some time will be spent in lines since they are not part of the Wish trip... so we want to have enough time in the park.

I also heard that Toontown is closed is that true?

Can you guys give me some tips on the best places to see characters in each park? I know there are alot of them LOL The girls want to see the princesses of course. They want to fill their autograph books but we don't know where to find all the characters..... :confused3

We have 2 ADR's the first is Chef Mickeys our first night there the next is Crystal Palace on Monday for lunch.... :)

I know we have more ? but I can not think of them right now... my husband's biggest concern was the food..... :lmao:

Also please give me suggestions for must sees in each park........

Taylor started her 7th round of chemo today.... she is doing ok, a headache & some nausea. She is so tired she cried herself to sleep on the way home then she woke up when we got home for a lil while then cried herself to sleep again. It breaks my heart that she has to go through all of this....
I thought I would take a few min to update you all & get my questions out there....
We got 3 Big Gives today but Taylor was not feeling good so we didn't open them... Hopefully tomorrow... :)

I happened to see the spot this morning on the Today Show and then came across your Ptr today :goodvibes Your girls are absolutley beautiful and I hope you all have a wonderful trip

To the Big Give group. I have seen what you do on this and other trip reports and I just have to say you are all such an inspiring, caring and generous group of people:worship::worship:. The world should really have more people like you, it makes me cry everytime I see a new package and the kids reactions. I truly thing you are all doing such a wonderful thing

Ahh, Anyone can join the big give!! As you have seen through this PTR, many things are pixie dust!!! you dont have to sew!!! Click on the link in my siggie and help us spread some pixie dust around!!

Teresa!! You are getting SO CLOSE!!!

Hmmmm - well, I think that your family will get to go through the quick lines with you. We got to go through with Daniel on his MAW trip. When they saw that we were with him, they just ushered us right through the line - especially when we wore matching shirts!!

I really enjoy the night time shows and fireworks. Spectro magic in the MK is one of my all time favorites, and you should also be able to see that new cool show on the face of the castle!!

I especially love all the rides at the MK, but Mickey's Philharmagic, Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear, the mountains and Pooh ride are some of my favorites!! You could also have the girls pixie dusted at the barbar shop on Mainstreet for only a few dollars if you wanted!! Its all fun!!!!!

Have fun packing!!!!!:woohoo:

Malachi said to tell Taylor that he is saying a special prayer for her right now. We are both so sorry she is feeling rough today!

I absolutely love all of your big gives! How awesome is that!

I am so glad Taylor's picture got to be on the Today show. I wish we could have sent Lhea's .... maybe next time.

I am so sorry Taylor isn't feeling well. I will pray she feels better VERY soon.!

Your trip is right around the corner! How exciting :yay::yay::yay: I can't wait to hear all about it!

Sorry to hear Taylor's having a tough time today, hope she gets a good night sleep tonight!!!

Its been 3 years since we were at WDW last, but all the character meet and greets are listed on each park map....yes ToonTown is closed, heard that Mickey and Minnie are relocated to somewhere on Main Street, can't remember the name though.

Our must see's for each park

MK - everything in fantasyland, Pirates, Big Thunder Mtn, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Light year ride in tomorrowland

DHS - Beauty & the beast show, Ariel show, backlot tour, muppets, Animation area-- you get to draw a character and also where a bunch of meet and greets are, toy story mania

Epcot - Test Track, Soarin', The Sea's pavillion (crush and nemo stuff is there) the land pavillion and of course the entire World Showcase

AK - safari, Exp Everest, Nemo Show, Lion King Show, Bird Show, Kali river rapids

can't answer your other questions....but if you want a quick breakfast in the morning, way not have some fruit, muffins, etc in your room that you could take with you in the car.

I'm sure you'll get answers about the other stuff....ask Tim, he will know everything!

Ok so we are going over our plans & we have a few questions????????

~ We are planning on trying to do US/IOA in one day & then AK/HS in one day,
There is a bit of a drive between these parks so keep that in mind
we are trying to get there early if possible but we are thinking of breakfast?
The breakfast is worth the delay in getting to the park.. you can really fuel up and may even see some characters who come to visit the Village most mornings.. The park days can get long and you will be able to do a lot with the GAC and get through attractions much faster.
We know that the Gingerbread House opens at 8 does anyone know what time the cart for breakfast comes around?
Not sure, sorry
The girls & I don't really eat a big breakfast & we are trying to get to the parks early but we don't want to waste money ~ Any suggestions????

~ How far is GKTW from the parks?
Half and hour to 40 minutes depending on the park including time to get parked.
On Friday we are planning on going to Epcot in the morning then MK late afternoon/night is it worth going back to GKTW to eat lunch/early dinner?
Where are you staying??
~ SW & US/IOA offer a food plan do you think it is worth buying this ? It is about $25 an adult & $15 a child to eat for the day.
I would not do it.

~ We don't want to waste alot of $ on food if we can eat for free.... but we want to have enough time in the parks.
We stuffed our pockets with snacks and even brought cup of noodles to make with hot water.
We have my parents, my brother & his girlfriend meeting us there so we know that some time will be spent in lines since they are not part of the Wish trip... so we want to have enough time in the park.
If you stay in a group the GAC should cover everyone in your group on that attraction
I also heard that Toontown is closed is that true?
Yes...but Toontown Fair was not nearly as good as Town Town in Disneyland.

Can you guys give me some tips on the best places to see characters in each park? I know there are alot of them LOL The girls want to see the princesses of course. They want to fill their autograph books but we don't know where to find all the characters..... :confused3
Check with Guest Services in each park and the Wish Trip Lounge in MK for help finding characters. The Princesses can be found at France in Epcot and at MK in The Royal Table meal. It is well worth the money to have that close time with the Princesses. Character greets are available at each park. At AK you will find them right by the entrance and at Mickey and Minnies Camp.

We have 2 ADR's the first is Chef Mickeys our first night there the next is Crystal Palace on Monday for lunch.... :)
Both are great character experiences.
I know we have more ? but I can not think of them right now... my husband's biggest concern was the food..... :lmao:
Some of the counter service places are pretty economical, especially in Epcot. We enjoyed the Chinese food place. Sit down meals take TOO long to do every day. Counter service places often have seating areas, so don't despair. The main thing about meals is to avoid the peak dining times which are also the best times for ride crowds to be less.
Also please give me suggestions for must sees in each park........
MK- just about everything is a must see, but my favorites are Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Monster's Inc Laugh Floor
AK- Safari Ride, Jungle King Festival, Dinosaur (a bit intense with movement), Nemo puppet show, Its tough to be a bug (scary spider sequence)
HS- Muppet 3D Show, Playhouse Disney, Little Mermaid Show, Beauty and the Beast Show, Indiana Jones Show, Star Tours (motion issues), the car show might be a bit intense and loud for some kids.. but cool
Epcot- Nemo Ride, Spoarin, Imagination Ride with Figment (hands on area at exit is cool)
SeaWorld- Artic Ride (similar to Star Tours) Orca Show, Dolphin Show, Kiddie Ride area (Shamu's Happy Harbor)
Universal - Shrek 3D Show and character greet, Men in Black Alien Attack, E.T. Ride
I.O A. - Harry Potter world, Seuss Landing rides

Bill covered most of your questions....

I think the breakfast cart starts at either 7 or 7:30. I can't find my GKTW book. :confused3

You can split many CS meals in the parks for lunch. That will help keep the costs down or have a Disney snack or 2!!!! Mickey bars are soooo goood!

Here are some of our favorite CS meals....
Epcot- Sunshine Seasons.. you can find all types of food here
or Eat around the world. Each country has some great food you can try
MK- Cosmic Rays... the turkey wrap is big enough for 2 people. The 1/2 rotisserie chicken meal is really good.
AK- Flame Tree BBQ... best pulled pork, they have ribs too
Yak & Yeti... Good chinese meals. You can probably split here too. They have great pork egg rolls.

Don't stress.. everything will be fine!

So sorry to hear about Taylor.. I hope she feels better tomorrow. What a trooper. :grouphug:

Sorry Taylor is feeling bad saying prayers for her. Yes toontown is closed but the princesses are in different parts of the parks, the fairies are over at epcot for flower and garden morgan said it looks really good she went to the soft opening yesterday and ate at germany. There are characters in each land you just need to map it out, there are characters dressed for each place like at frontierland you can see donald or other characters dressed with coon skin hats things like that, in adventureland you will find jasmine and alladian, the pirates, different ones, i think the princesses are in fantasyland or at the front of the park. There are alot of characters at the front of magickingdom when it opens. Epcot has a place that is just for characters, and then in the countrys you will find the characters in the country they are from like in china mulan is there just ask the cast memebers will be glad to help you find them and most of the time the person with the charater will put you to the front of the line and explain to the characters that you are on a make a wish trip. The cast members will help you out it will be fun wait and see and remember that morgan is off on monday and tuesdays. If you have any medical issues in the parks they have really good ems my son in law is one of the medics (future son in law). Hope Taylor has a better week I know she wants to get this over with just think your trip is a short time away I cant wait till we go in April.
Sheri

Sorry that she is feeing so sick on this round of chemo.. I hope it will pass soon... I have a friend who is going through chemo and have been surprised at how well she has been doing considering her age...I hope Taylor will bounce back quickly and feel great for her trip...!

We couldn't do a half day. We want to make sure we see everything. Plus how crowded it'll be..yes we get the pass, but we may have to still wait a few. We aren't big breakfast eater either, but we will fill up at breakast at the Gingerbread house(they really do have yummy food) and then have a snack midday and then have dinner. you can also order a pizza the night before and take it with you as a snack...or chicken from Katies korner.
~ How far is GKTW from the parks? On Friday we are planning on going to Epcot in the morning then MK late afternoon/night is it worth going back to GKTW to eat lunch/early dinner?
I would say no
~ SW & US/IOA offer a food plan do you think it is worth buying this ? It is about $25 an adult & $15 a child to eat for the day.
I would also say no to this. You can eat breakfast at GKTW have a snack. The park closes at 7 and go back to GKTW and have dinner.
~ We don't want to waste alot of $ on food if we can eat for free.... but we want to have enough time in the parks.
I have to say..the last time was easier when the parks closed early. We just went back at GKTW and had dinner. I think we ate dinner out twice.
We have my parents, my brother & his girlfriend meeting us there so we know that some time will be spent in lines since they are not part of the Wish trip... so we want to have enough time in the park.

Yes
