Taxi with a carseat?

Hi! We have an ADR at Cape May on our next trip and will be coming from POFQ. On our last trip, we had the worst luck with every mode of transportation and it took a very long time to get from CBR to BC. We were about 1/2 hour late for our ADR but luckily they managed to seat us anyway! I was hoping to avoid that whole thing by taking a taxi this time, but we will need a carseat for DS2. What would be the best way to go about this? Can you reserve a taxi with a carseat ahead of time? Or do we just go to the front desk and ask when we need it? I'm trying to figure out how much time to allot for the trip over so we don't run late again! Thanks!

The staff at the bell/valet stand outside the man lobby can summon a cab for you. There are usually some waiting but if not, they can get one there in just a few minutes. Mention that you want a car seat and they will summon a cab that has one for you.

Personally, I would call ahead and request a taxi with a car seat at a specific time. You can go down to valet and there should be taxis waiting, but not all of them have car seats. If they don't, you'll have to wait until one with a car seat is available. It might be right away or it might be quite a while. When it's busy (like when Cirque is letting out or a park is closing), you might have to wait quite a while for a taxi with a car seat.
