Has anyone been shopping there recently? I have been an avid shopper of this area of the store since it showed up. I hope that it stays around.

Recent good deal:
3 dog collars for my pugs
1 retractable leash
2005 calendar

Hopefully Target will keep this area for a while.

Oh my, I didn't even know they had a dollar area?? Is this in all of the stores? Ok, now I need to make a stop there after work...

I love this area! I purchased several 4x6 and 5x7 frames for my wedding photos and the collection looks like it cost much more than $5!!
I also bought a couple retractable leashes for my dogs--what a great deal!
They also have soap/lotion/bath salt collections that I purchased for my Secret Santa at work (she loves all lotions and concoctions!)
DH thinks I'm crazy for spending so much money in the DOLLAR aisle!

the one in my local target is tiny - like half an aisle...but I did get the dog a "spoiled" stocking (heheh) and a "J" tag for her collar (which broke in like a week - I had to move the "J" charm to a more substancial ring on her collar...I just put it on with the rest of her tags...too cute!)

It's typically right behind the shopping cart section, as soon as you enter the store. My target has 3 small aisles and I love grabbing things there. I've gotten a spoonula, can opener, small plush animals my DS loves, halloween decor, picture frames, oversized mugs with cats and dogs on them, tons of little fun kids toys, chinese plateware, and chopsticks. Love love them. They're better quality than dollar stores and they look good!

Love my Target $1 area. Lots of finds there. :)

I just saw it for the first time today. I got a little stocking of cat toys for my mom's cat and some thank you postcards for the kids' stockings. I thought they had some great deals.

I tried hitting that area this morning when I was in Target, but there were so many people in the aisles, I couldn't get to the shelves! It was crazy!

I just bought some small wooden games as stocking stuffers. They had a Chinese checkers, Jenga stacking game, etc. which were really cute.

OH!!! I know what you are referring to now!! I never even pay attention to that, I always walk right by it. Well, now I know!!

I love it! I got my dog a faux green leather studded collar and the "princess" stocking. I've also picked up lipstick (Jane) and lotion.

I love the dollar area.

I've picked up a "spoiled" stocking for my kitty, some cat toys, picture frames, and my greatest find, a set of 2 bath poofs.

I love that area.

I just got some stocking stuffers there yesterday. I bought had dog antlers, some pony tail and clips that were attached to a poodle for each of my girls although I have a feeling they are meant for a dog as they were in the dog section! :o I also got them each a spinning paint thing all for a dollar each!!

I love this area! Right now we're buying alot of the computer games. So far we've bought 5 and 4 of them are really pretty good. Only one was kind of a dud, but for $1, who cares!! My kids love looking for new ones whenever we're there.

I love my Target Dollar Section. Alot of Disney Stickers for my DD 5.

My friend and I did well in the Target dollar area a few weeks ago. She got stocking stuffers for her kids. I got some of the $1 packages of bath poofs, 2 great cookbooks, and my best find of the day...a metal thing that holds your cookbook open and upright on the counter. I love this thing! I would have paid $10 for it, but it was only a buck. You can't beat that.

I love the $ area!! I got the "T" charm for my kitty, Tinkerbell, and some mice for her stocking and a little stocking with cat toys in it. She'll be a happy kitty on Christmas morning. :)

I always passed this section (because it's usually crowded) until my SIL told me about all of her finds. So the other night I found some raw hide bones and toys for my dog, and one of those knobby hand-held back massagers. I wanted to get a little H for my dog Heidi's collar, but they didn't have any.
