Tanya & Dan's VR DCL!!!Dec 4, 2009 MK & Epcot Photoshoot Pics Posted

HI!! YAY for another Cruise Bride.....Amy took my Magic Kingdom Pictures! She was great!!!!!

Your DD is soooo cute, how old is she? I love the curls!

Hi there!
I just got all caught up on your PJ and I have to say I love you dress!!:goodvibes It looks amazing, all the details look so elegent and fancy! And it is so nice to see you "in the dress" and looking so happy! You def made the right choice on that dress!

Oh and I hear ya about low maintainance hair, that is all I ask for and one of my BM's is my hairdresser and she is always yelling at me about my hair lol! Your highlights look lovely, they frame your face very well, you totally look like a bride:goodvibes

They didn't mention any cancellation policy to me! I would go for it if I were you.

I called! Now i'm just waiting to hear back. It won't be a MK shoot, unless something great happens $$-wise, but maybe DHS or AK are a bit cheaper.

If you havn't found earrings yet go to
http://www.fantasyjewelrybox.com/ its great i love it they have amazing jewerly. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Thanks! I just checked it out and they have some great jewelry. I don't know yet what I am going to use. My necklace came and it is awesome with the little hidden mickeys - but it doesn't really match my tiara. So I am going to have to put it all on together to decide what I want! I may get another necklace and then just wear the one I have for something else.

I read your PJ from start to finish! I think you had a fabulous wedding and you really helped me make up my mind about a DCL VR! I also think that you and DisneyBrideToni have some of the best MK pics I've seen! I want to take some of yours with me to say "I want this".

My DD is 2, and I love her red curly hair. We joke that the mailman brought her since she doesn't look like us.:rotfl:

Ok ladies - someone needs to tell me how to multi-quote!!

Thanks for the dress comments! I am so excited about it and want to wear it as much as possible. As for the hair - two small kids means that I am lucky if I get to shower, much less actually fix my hair! :lmao: This hair cut has been so easy. I am going to let it grow out just a bit more in front and that is it!

I had the $ saved up to pay for it, but my DH broke a tooth, which needed a root canal and a crown - so there went that! I wish I could have paid for it already. But I've got 8 months to save up, so it shouldn't be a problem. I think that if it comes down to it, I may cut any extra floral from my ceremony so that I can have the castle!

What is DHS?

AK has some really pretty places. Do you know where they usually photograph at in there? There are a couple of waterfalls that look like some place in Hawaii - that would be awesome!

OMG you look gorgeous! I love your dress!! Can't wait to see pics of the big day!!

I am so happy you are doing DCL. YOu won't be sorry. I walked up to my Photographer and handed her a stack of MK pictures I illegally copied and told her these are my Must Have pictures. Funny thing is she took most of them and remembered the brides. Tomi and I both had Amy....Request her...she is wonderful!

You DD is adorable!

I love your dress!!! Ahhh I need to go dress shopping!
I love your hair too!

DHS is Disney's Hollywood Studios formerly of MGM fame.

You're dress is beautiful and your hair is really cute! I love the highlights. Once you learn how to multi-quote it will make things much easier!

My neglected PJ made it all the way to pg 3 of the list!!!

I will be getting my Bachelor's degree and finished with school on June 15th hopefully! :dance3: So, these last several classes have been kicking my butt and consuming most of my time. Plus I got to photograph a wedding held in a movie theater. It was tough to shoot in that lighting, but we still got some great shots. I'll have to post a few soon.

I haven't done much planning at all. My DH and I went to a couple of suit shops looking for a suit or tux for him to buy, and so far we have not seen anything we really like. Also, my DH lift weights, and he has a really big neck and broad shoulders, but a little waist, so we have had a hard time finding him a jacket that fits. I remember for our wedding, they had to special order him a jacket in a "sports" cut or something like that. We'll probably have to go to a big store in Sarasota - like a Men's Wearhouse - to find what we want.

I also had no idea that my wedding planner got laid off! That totally sucks. I hope that she finds a new job. I found out here on the DIS, and not from Disney - which I think is terrible. I finally just got an email today from the new planner with her contact info. I should probably send her a note back. I hope my planning packet is in my folder!!!

I am also totally having pink shoe envy of several of the other disbrides!!:rolleyes1 My DH doesn't like the pointy toe on my blue shoes, and would rather me have something strappy and sexy. I might use that as an excuse to go shopping! :rotfl:Plus my flowers are pink...

I did buy a pair of clear Cinderella shoes with a glitter heart on them. They are adorable, but they are plastic - so my feet sweat, and they are not the most comfortable b/c of this. I think I may wear one pair for the ceremony and another for my photo shoot! And then put my disney crocs on when I'm done! LOL!:lmao:

Love that you want to change your shoes multiple times. I recently found another pair of shoes that I like and I was like thinking instead of changing dresses I will just change shoes! Plus I love the pink thing going on around here too! :rotfl2:

I've got 3 pairs of shoes!! :lmao: I'm gove my mickey flip flops to wear down to the beach for the ceremony. then i've got a pair of ivory bridal sandals for dinner to wear that evening, then i got PINK shoes for the Epcot Bridal shoot! Woo hoo!!

Hey! Shoes changed Cinderella's life, so why not ours? :lmao:

I think that it is a fabulous idea to change shoes! Here are a pair I'm thinking of getting.

If I wear them, I want a pink crinolin to go with them!

I also got a real estate pay check today - and I have already spent it all! :rotfl: It's wedding related though, so that's my justification.
We ordered my DH's tux and shoes. We got him a basic, classic tux with a single breasted lapel, with a white shirt and a black vest and bowtie. I am concerned how the white will look against my ivory dress. I guess we'll have to wait and try it on together when it get here.
Here is a picture of it:

I am also thinking about getting him this vest:

It has mickey faces all over it. But they don't make it anymore, so I have to snag it off of ebay, and it is becoming impossible to find his size. I may have to order a smaller size, and then since it is opened in the back with elastic, I'll have to sew on a bigger piece of elastic.

Awesome shoes!!! And your dh is going to look so nice in that tux and mickey vest!!

We went to Hollywood studios a couple of weeks ago, since I had to go take a test for school at Florida Southern in Lakeland. It rained on us a good portion of the day, so I didn't get to take lots of pic. Here are a couple of great shots from that trip.

Here we are trying on the groom's top hat.

It doesn't really fit on my DH's head, and he doesn't want to get one! I totally want him to wear it. I was thinking about getting a real top hat from ebay and then gluing some mouse ears on there.

Here are my bride mouse ears I got back in March. I have my wedding dress on in this shot, but it looks like I am naked! :rolleyes1 That's what I get for wearing a strapless dress!:rotfl:

So my DH has been acting a little strange this week! - But in a good way. He bought me a dozen red roses a couple of days ago and surprised me with them and a really romantic card. He used to do this sort of thing all the time until we had kids! LOL! :lmao:

Then today he had me call and cancel our kids eye appoinments for tomorrow. I was wondering what was going on and kind of getting upset, since it takes weeks to get into that dr's office. Then he tells me that we are going to the MK tomorrow - my fav park, and that we are eating dinner in Cinderella's castle!!! :scared1::cheer2::banana: I am sooooooo super excited.

My husband is not very sneaky or good at planning surprises at all. We can't keep a secret from each other for anything. But I have a feeling he's up to something.

When we first decided to get married, we literally decided while sitting on the beach in Venice, FL. It was very romantic, but no surprises. We just talked about how we wanted to grow old together, we didn't believe in divorce, and what marriage means to us. We went ring shopping together, and I helped pick out my ring. He had to put it on hold, and it took him several months to pay it off, so here I was telling everyone I was engaged, and they would look down at me hand and be like - ya, right! It happened so fast, that most everyone thought we were kidding around. But then about 4 months later, he took me to the park at Lake Ella, and got down on one knee. He was so nervous that I think he was only able to stutter out - "Will you marry me?" I hit him on the arm b/c I thought he was totally playing around, and just trying to embarrass me, until I looked down and saw the ring in his hand. I said yes, and we kissed, and that was that.

Ever since then, I have always teased him that I wanted some big romantic production, just b/c it is totally out of character for him. He gets embarrassed so easily and is really shy. He hates to make a scene or spectacle. But now I totally think he is up to something b/c he had me trying on anniversary bands back around Christmas and in Jan. I wanted a Mickey one, but we couldn't find anything that matched my ring. And I love, love, love the castle - and we have never had the chance to eat there. So here I am wondering and secretly hoping he might surprise me tomorrow!

Just read through your PJ! YAY for DCL brides! The dress and tiara look amazing on you, esp. w/your new longer hair and highlights! I like DD's blue FG dress much better than the white one. Good choice!

And I cannot believe you have your planning kit in already! I'm jealous! I don't have any of it filled out yet and our wedding's 2 months before yours!:rotfl::

YAY!!! Thats such a wonderful suprise!!!! You must be sooo happy. The castle is so awesome. I want to see tons of pictures!

I wanted to say that I LOVE the shoes! Who makes them? You look super cute in the bride ears and I just wanted to let you know that my dad has the bow-tie and cummerbund that match the mickey vest. He wears them all the time to non-disney events in the city. :rotfl:

Anyhoo hope you have the most amazing day ever tomorrow!!!
