Has anyone recently dined at the Tambu Lounge and ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos and 'Ohana Bread Pudding? I no longer see them as an option on the menu.

Thank you! This makes me feel better! Hoping the lounge is still open on on Friday and I can get both, and a Lapu Lapu of course :D
I hope so for you too! Disney vacation hasn't started until we've been to Tambu and I've had a Lapu Lapu and my husband gets his backscratcher! Enjoy!!!

the banana bread pudding has been gone from the online menu for 6 months or more now but it was still on the lounge menu when we went in February and obviously still there from other reports.

Thank you! I don't have time for 'Ohana this trip and I have to get my fix haha

that's what we did, we just had the bread pudding for dessert. but now the kid is insisting on 'Ohana next trip so I'm going to have to take one for the team (actually it's more my wallet that will take one for the team, my kiddo is a Disney adult now )

I read that it’s closing for 2 mo after the 4th of July for renovations. I hope they still serve the bread pudding after reopening! is it ok to take kids to the Tambu Lounge?

The online menu has been wrong for a long time - and is wrong on most planning sites, too, it seems. Not sure why (and it makes me wonder what other menus are completely wrong, too!).

Our drinks from Tambu were so disappointing the last two times we dined at Ohana. Hopefully, they have better trained/skilled bartenders when they reopen.

It really puts a damper on your meal there when you pay $15 for a drink that tastes kid’s fruit punch—and packs as little of a punch.

Oh yes, it's almost double from child to adult! I always have a great time there tho!

I saw a post on Tikiman's Facebook from a bar-goer that the bartender told her it would close on 8/5 now. Not sure. I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised! If it does not work out, I will still get my Lapu Lapu and maybe the pork sliders from the Oasis bar haha

It is so frustrating when that happens. I am definitely a planner who may or may not like to pick out all of my meals prior to arriving :rolleyes1 (I will change day of if the mood strikes haha)

Oh no! The last time I had a drink from Tambu/'Ohana was March and my Lapu Lapu was good. Hopefully the new bar brings enhancements and new drinks!

In September 2017, we were served horrible margaritas and a Manhattan with a blob of sauce in it—and not on purpose.

This past May, five of us ordered Lapu Lapu’s and not one of us liked it. Too sweet and no rum flavor at all. The pineapples seemed extra large so maybe they added a lot of juice to make it look full? IDK.

Back in 2010 on a Free Dining trip, the bartenders at the Tambu were like straight out of the movie Cocktail. Awesome at the craft of Mixology. :)

IDK what happened since then. Resting on their laurels? Hopefully, they turn a corner. The boozy tropical drinks were like 40% of the fun at Ohana.

Oh those experiences do not sound good! I did have to wait exceptionally long in March, but it worked out.

I think I may try the Lapu Lapu in a regular glass for first time. If Tambu isn't up to par, I will have to get a different fun drink from Trader Sam's.

Looks amazing!! What time of day did you go? ETA: I believe they open at 4 for dinner menu so I should have said what time of evening!
I went 6:30pm and found seats at the bar on 7/7. I returned the same night post Luau around 10:30pm and sat over at the tables on the side. I went 7:15pm on 7/9 and again, found seats at the bar. It was empty on Monday!
