I had no intentions of going to wdw this year, but that pesky little pin code landed in my e-mail the other day and I was so shocked (I never get stuff like this) that the wheels started turning.

I've stayed onsite on all of our previous visits (POR, BWI, CBR, YC) and am thinking it might be fun, and since this trip will be without my h, I figured it would be possibly easier on me with 3 kids (6, 4, 4) to stay at the poly. I called and got a great rate for next october, and went ahead and booked. ack! so tell me about it. any requests I should put in? I know I want a balcony or a patio. have booked a garden view room, and would like to be centrally located.

I think part of my problem is I love the epcot resort area. but I'm also excited to try a new area.

We love the Epcot area too and did our first stay at the Poly, it was ok and I liked that Kona was right there and the monorail is great but the resort was too loud and busy for us

we just spent Christmas at the Poly and it was fantastic! It couldn't have been more magical! We stayed in the building Figi. It was close to everything we wanted. The only noise really was from Spirit of Aloha. I would LOVE to stay there again! It is now my favorite by far:cloud9: the monorail was so fantastic!! The beds were SO comfortable!! We had friends staying at WL and they said our room was quite a bit larger. I loved the tv too! Ok, I'm ready to go back!

thanks!

are there really any bad locations??? am wondering how necessary it is to put in a request.

We booked a garden view last Oct and were giving a 2nd floor unit in Fiji with a marina view. It was very nice but like you we love Epcot resort locations so much better.

thanks!

The only one I can think of is the parking lot view in Rapa Nui. You can put in a request but remember you can always bring up that request with the CM who checks you in. During my first stay at the Poly, my initial request (1st floor Tahiti) wasn't available so the CM showed me which buildings were available on a map.

I've only put in one request so far and that was for 1st floor volcano pool view in Samoa. Luckily that one got granted. :)
