I’ve been to F&W once and F&G twice. The food at F&W slightly edged out F&G, but overall my fav is F&G for the, well, flowers! And the food was good, too! I’m taking my bff for her first trip to WDW in early 2023. I like the lesser crowds in late January/ early February, but I want to go during a festival. How does Festival of the Arts food and activities compare to Flower and Garden? We could go early March with more crowds, but if folks in the know like Festival of the Arts I wouldn’t mind trying it.

Festival of the Arts has quickly become our favorite of the main festivals at EPCOT. We go FOA, F&G, and then F&W. They do such creative and innovative foods and drinks at the art festival. We also really enjoy the non-food and drink booths at this festival, and have come home with some amazing pieces of art (so beware, it could cost you additional money!!). Throw in some unique entertainment at the main theater in America, and it's a win. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

FOA is definitely an up and coming festival but not nearly as crowded as the others. We love going! I’d say try that one since it’s new to you & better season for crowd levels

I’ve been to all three, and F&G is by far my favorite. It’s just so pretty and there’s usually beautiful weather. I love the garden themed merchandise because I was go early in the spring before it’s hot back home and it makes me happy.

FOA, I haven’t been since winter 2020, but I will say it was better in 2020 than 2019. But I’m just not into looking at the art. I can’t justify buying it and would struggle to bring it home if I did. Some folks have fun at the framed photo booths, but I was always solo and some of them look dumb if you are solo and it was rare the Photopass person got a decent shot of me.

F&W, I’ve been a bunch, and I think if trying a variety of the alcoholic drinks is high on your list, then this is a benefit to this. And if you go on a weekday, crowds aren’t as bad. I did do a paid event one year and that was a fun add on.

As for food…all three have way more food choices than I could dream of trying in one trip, so I personally don’t think that matters.

Honestly, I’d just pick based on the weather you want.

Depends on your interests. In the before times, my favorite was F&W. They always had lots of little seminars in the festival center (for a price of course) and some food and wine pairing meals that were great. Those have not returned in the after times and I don't know if they will next year or not. We went to F&W this last Sept. and we enjoyed the booths but that was just about all there was. The merch booths were sort of lacking as well. It is usually very hot and very rainy during F&W. In the before times there were different bands that played, not this year.

I love F&G. I love the different displays, I love the food booths and I love the weather. I tend to go early to mid-April before it gets too hot but there have been a few years when it's rained a lot. Again, in the before times there were little seminars you could attend about gardening in the festival center. There isn't a festival center now as Guardians is going in that space. I love the older bands that play on the stay during F&G and they will be back this upcoming year so that is good.

FOA. We went in late Jan. or early Feb. (don't remember which) the year the world closed down. We really enjoyed it but it was cold that year and raining. Cold rain is not fun when you are trying to taste at booths. We did enjoy the different types of food they had at the booths and the art was great. They have Disney Broadway performers on the main stage.

Taste of the Holidays. I like this festival but not the booths very much. This year they had a lot of booths that were just sweets, I rarely eat sweets so that was a bummer. I do love the story tellers though and the decorations are beautiful. Lots of people enjoy the Processional, I'm not really a fan but that is just me.

So weather wise, you are probably going to have the mildest weather at F&G, if you wait until May that one is going to be hottish. F&W is going to be hot and rainy. FOA is a crap shoot, you can have mild warm days or you can have cold days. Fest. of Holidays is less of a crap shoot then FOA but it can get cooler during the days, not as much rain but it does happen.

I love FOA and F&G but agree with others above we’ve had better luck with the weather at F&G. Plus it’s just beautiful everywhere! F&W is maybe my least favorite right now
