Taking tickets off magic bands

I have done on-line check and customized my magic band for December but my package has a 1 day ticket - I have an annual pass and I wanted to take the ticket off my room key (magic band) how do I do that?

Can they do it at the check in desk or do I go to the concierge desk?

I need to have the ticket removed before I go to the park because won't the magic band read the ticket that is associated with the package thus wasting the ticket since I have an annual pass.

If a knowledgeable CM is working the desk, yes. If not Guest Services will be able to.
