Taking a cab from POP to OKW?

We are staying at POP our first night to save on points and then going to OKW. We are considering taking a cab from POP to OKW in the morning and check in rather than having our bags transferred by bell services and check in later. Anyone ever done this? Do you call bell services and ask for a cab? Any idea how much it might cost? Thanks!!

Pop Century is only a couple of miles from Old Key West. We deliver to POP a lot and there are almost always taxis waiting there in front of the check-in area. If there aren't any there, the bell services folks can get you one.

I think your plan is a good one--particularly if the have a room available at Old Key West when you get there. Even if you don't, the bell services crew at Old Key West are extremely helpful.

We did this last year from the Swan to OKW. I think it was somewhere around 20.00

Thanks! I think a cab is the way to go. We may get lucky and have a room ready at OKW. You never know...ugghh...that sounds like the NYS lottery commercial...
