We are taking my 7 month old to DL and CA for her first time in a few weeks. :yay: I am SO excited! :goodvibes I know she won't know what is going on, but I will, and it's a great place to take some really cute photos of her at my favorite place!

What rides will she like at DL and CA? I know what rides she CAN go on, but what rides should I take her on that she may enjoy at both parks? :confused3

TIA!

When we went last year our ds was about that age and we had a great time.

He loved the Tiki Room, Alice, the circus train, the storybook boats, the carousel, the pooh ride, the train ride around the park, and the chew chew train and carousel in DCA. He loved IASW too but it's closed for awhile I guess :sad2: We went on pooh and the trains more than once.

He loved the characters too and we have some great photos of them together!

Have Fun!

Yay! We took DS for the first time when he was 8 months old. I don't think we went on a single ride then, but it was so much fun just watching him take in all the lights, colors, and characters.

Have fun!

The youngest I've even been with in the parks was 15 months old. But I'm pretty sure you can take a 7 month old on all the "kiddie" rides like alice, snow white, pinocchio, peter pan, etc. And maybe even things like the haunted mansion, jungle cruise, and stuff like that.

We took ours the first time when she was 6 months old. It was actually a more enjoyable trip then when she was 14 months old.

She slept a lot.. in the stroller or in the bjorn. It was great because everytime we wanted to eat she would fall asleep and it made for a nice quiet meal.

She was fascinated with the characters. She even giggled at Tigger! It was a lot of fun.

We took her on all the rides without a heigh restriction. She did good on all the rides, but she especially liked the Winnie the Pooh ride because of all the colors. It's a Small Word was a big hit, but it will be closed until November.

Oh, and if she's crawling and wants to move around a good place to take her is Goofy's Bounce House in Toontown. It's a soft playground so she can move around and get out some energy.

Here's a picture of her with Tigger.

Congrats! Ours was 1 year at first trip, my girlfriend came along with her then 8 month old (he was 2 months premature so small as well.) We did EVERYTHING they could go on and they both loved them all. Pooh is a little loud (scared the younger a bit but not the older one - but he continued doing it too), they both liked Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Snow White, Pinocchio (maybe it was around nap time and it was dim???) They LOVED tea cups and Dumbo. Alice was another favorite of both. The highlight though was Small World (sorry you'll miss that one.)

Character meals were also really cool for them - not scared at all and they ate free! lol...

We took ds las october when he was 10 (almost 11) months old. He was a preemie, so he's very small, and he just learned to crawl (properly, on all fours, instead of army crawling lol) on our trip! We had the best time! He loved Flik's Fun Fair in California Adventure. Loved it. And the playhouse disney show...he didn't watch TV and we don't have the disney channel either, but he loved it...all those kids, and the characters...he was in heaven. We also took him on the carousel in DCA, because we didn't want to wait in the line at DL.

In DL, well, of course he loved It's a small world, but unfortunately that's closed (we'll miss it as well in May!), and he really liked watching the bubbles go by the window in Nemo. Let's see, what else. He really liked the Tiki Room. And the Pooh ride. He didn't express any love for anything else, although he took it all in. The only thing he was scared of was Roger Rabbit, but I wouldn't advise taking a little one on that anyway, because they make you sit them on the seat next to you, and DS wasn't that stable of a sitter that he could do that well yet.

We did a character meal, after seeing how he was with the characters first, and he LOVED them. Wasn't even scared a little, he thought they were the best. He had a particular obsession with Eeyore, and he squealed and tried to jump up and down on DH's lap when Eeyore turned the corner in the resturaunt!

I'm sure you'll have a great time! Enjoy!

That's great! My DS was a preemie too (8 wks early) and he didn't crawl until he was 14 months old (and didn't walk until 1.5 weeks before his 2nd birthday)! Little stinker will be 3 in June and still won't jump or walk up stairs!

Sorry for the threadjack! I just have a special place in my heart for preemies and their parents. :goodvibes
