Take the Plunge - Just Move There!!

We have the same heat, humidity, and risk of hurricanes here in Houston.
We also have traffic equal to or greater than any in Orlando. But, enough boasting, LOL.
I have a co-worker who loved Disney. He and his wife moved there about 10 years ago, got an apt. in the area and both went to work for Disney. She cleaned hotel rooms at POR, and he was a street sweeper on Main Street. After a year of this, the magic was gone for them, and they moved back here to get better jobs. Much as I love Disney, I believe life there would be a lot like life here, and the size of my paycheck has a significant affect on my quality of life. I still love going every chance I get, though.

I think one of the best parts og going to Disney is the anticipation that biulds up all year waiting for that day that you arrive. But when you live there, you're there all the time therefore anticipation doesnt have time to build. I would personally never want to move there, I like to think Disney is off in it's own little magical fantasy realm and I get to be a visitor once a year!

Amen i hear it all the time from the tourist in branson i bet you love living close to Branson Mo.Its hard not to laugh Branson is boring been there way to many times.For us cant wait till go to wdw that feeling hitting the Ga-Fla border is incrediable and it is a magical 10-14 days but when its over i cant wait till get home.When my youngest is done with school we will look at fla and several other states in the sw to make are winter home.Jmo but yes i think living there would hurt the magic.Lets be honest we all look forward to going all year and being vacation where not dealing with the everyday pressures of life.

I told my wife that I was just going to become a bus driver at the land, I figure it'll be less stressful than being in the Coast Guard.
