I think I have to! Every time I do post on one, I get the feeling I'm being made fun of behind my back yet in front of my face at the same time. It's disconcerting!

I'd like to take the pledge, but I am afraid I'll end up with one hand up and the other behind my back with fingers crossed. I get sucked in every time!!
I take breaks from them, but keep finding myself in pages after pages catching up...

I keep hoping one day I'll come on to Dis and find that special thread we are all hoping for that will end all the bickering!

I don't have a problem with the general FP+ threads. Now, the constant onslaught of "Just back" threads where they mention FP+ is past ridiculous.


Two things would clean the board up dramatically:

1- If people used the search function
2- Trip reports went on the proper forum

Ugh, I have avoided anything to do with FastPass+ and Magic Bands because we were going to Aulani last Thursday and have no WDW trips planned. Due to the snow we had to cancel (yes, I am still in shock I am not at Aulani right now) and immediately planned a May trip to Disney.

So now I have thrown myself into this FastPass+ mess and started reading all the threads to learn the in's and out's- I am a little worried how this trip will go. We are doing a split say on-property and off-property so we can save our DVC points for another Aulani trip- are we going to get any good fast passes for the off-property days? On a good note, most days we are there are a 5 on a 10 scale, so hopefully we will get to ride most of what we want.

Imma disagree with you there. I think people's FP+ experiences are very relevant to TPAS. I think the "just back" threads hold more weight than those that haven't tried it yet, and I'm especially interested in those that had no real opinion about it going in. I want to see what people think about it after actual use, and recently. The people who loved it in October and November loved a very different system than the one we have now.

Amen Every time I see another FP+ thread, I can't help but read and I always seem to get this little sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. But then I realise that I absolutely have to make my own mind up about FP+ based on my own experience and can't let anything else sway or prejudice me.

Sorry to hear about your trip being cancelled b/c of the snow. This winter needs to stop! Regarding your split stay...I have not tried this but have read numerous times that if you stay onsite first and link tickets, you'll still get magic bands and be able to book for the number of days on the ticket. Some folks are even making a 1 night only ressie just to get magic bands and the ability ton.prebook. I have also read day of availability for the headliners can be scarce but folks have been able to reserve them too. Best of luck to you!

I'm in! We leave today and I've spent the last few weeks tiptoeing through the board trying to find the kind between information and making myself miserable. I've decided that we will have an awesome trip even if it's not the same type of trip we've had in the past.

We are going in May, final Daddy Daughter trip before my DD heads off to college.
We've been going every year since she was 4, and just the two of us since she was 7. I'm going to enjoy myself regardless, and if the system stinks, well how unfortunate.

Thank you so much for this thread. I am taking this pledge. Reading all of these threads have made me crazy about our July trip. When my 60 day window arrives, I will make what FPs I can and move on. I am just thankful for the opportunity to be able to return to WDW.

Before I discontinue vacationing in a place I really used to enjoy, I will use all reasonable means at my disposal to convince Disney to fix it.
