I completely spaced that today is the day for me to make my ADRs (so I ended up calling around 2 PM PDT/5 PM EDT). Got everything I wanted except Le Cellier (I'll find an alternative later) but after obsessing for weeks about that phone call, I can't believe I forgot (something to do with having to baby-sit the grandsons until 11:30 last night).

But I have a question for the collective wisdom (I just also posted on the transportation list).

I'd like to know if it seems reasonable to expect to get to a 9:30 seating of Hoop De Doo if we leave MK after the 8:00 SpectroMagic parade. Spectromagic lasts about 20 minutes (but I don't know how long it takes to for the parade to make it to Main Street where we would likely be watching).

I noticed that Pioneer Hall appears to be pretty close to the boat landing, so I'm thinking as long as there are no big screw ups, this should be possible.

Any experience appreciated. Thanks.

That would be plenty of time. You could probably leave MK at 9:00 and make it, although if you miss a boat it would be close :)

Spectro usually starts on Main Street, so I would grab seat in Town Square, bolt once the parade is over, and catch the first boat.

You should have plenty of time. Pioneer Hall is only a 5 minute walk from the boat dock!

Thanks much for the confirmation and especially for the note that the parade normally starts at Main Street. I'll call now to (hopefully) make the changes to the ADRs.
