Okay I just ran to the bathroom, but I'm back. :hyper: Don't hear any ringing yet...Just yelled down to Eric to answer the phone if it rings...He's got the cordless down there...hummddyyyhumdumdum...nothing yet.

I've never been to the House of Blues. Maybe we should give that a try. And Lewski, you can get some oysters. I'll get clams. Oooo

Gotta go. phone. :hyper:

We call them baked potato's too. Not sure why they have 2 names! Where I am from it is traditional to have your yorkshire pudding as a starter (entree I think you call it). My mum would make them for our Sunday roast and my dad and I would eat them with tomato sauce and gravy (yum!!)

I'm up for a night at PI. I'll eat anywhere. Can we go dancing after?

LoL, llebrekniT, did u see my post????:D

Count me in on the PI/DD adventures. Drinks at Captain Jack's? I'll have two. :teeth:

Yorkshire pudding sounds good to me.

Hey, have any of you stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge? We are starting to look at it as an October option. DH likes the looks of it. Of course, llebrekniT gave up being overbearing for lent, so, come Sunday all these plans I am making may be gone when the real llebrekniT returns!!

Eerm oddball27 I'm English and I play netball not

Me me me. I liked it but wouldn't stay there again. Too dark. I prefer lighter atmospheres. I also did not like the crowd :snooty:. I like to talk to people and the type of people there were who's keeping up with the Jones'. That was "our" take. Don't mean to rain on any parades!

Barb doesn't talk funny and neither do I. I think it's the reltives on this board who talk funny! :p

QOTD, well, I am Wife-less, and Young-Dragon-less for a few day...I still have the older ones. On the way home I will stop by the stereo shoppe and see about fixing the one in my bedroom that is going out...I have to thank my DBIL for showing a certain little red dragon a 50" tv in the bedroom to watch Cinderella on, and a huge Plasma TV in his den... then I need to talk to my "Lawn Care Provider", stop for dinner, and head home to make the Recap and review the swap items...

Tomorrow and Friday...work, work, work...and add creature comforts to the Dog-house....

Saturday after work I will pick up DW from the Airport then off to Arlington to meet CourtasanSatine!!!!! Sunday I have to take my parents to the airport, and deal with DW telling me I am torturing her buy eating non-passover food.

I usually tell everyone I am going rabbit hunting...(as in the Easter Bunny). I wasn't invited to any egg-hunts.

:bounce:

Talking to a Tagliarchan in "real life" was very cool. But I think I do talk funny. Especially now with this cold that I have. Lewski has a sweet voice.

I've never stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. :( We haven't stayed at the Wilderness Lodge either, but we did have dinner at restaurant -- yikes! What is it? Artist Point? It was great.

A new QOTD (besides our DD planning):

What airport do you fly out of to get to WDW and how long does it take?

I fly out of Hancock International Airport (SYR). Sadly, the only airline that flies to Orlando without connections is Transmeridian (and the don't actually fly into Orlando. They fly into Sanford Orlando  . I think they now offer a shuttle to WDW.) So, fly out of Syracuse and change planes once, so I'm talking about 4-5 hours.

Hopefully we'll get more carriers doing direct flights again.

QOTD: I think I would win with the longest flight!! We fly from London Gatwick and it takes about 8 1/2 hours (plus about 3 or 4 hours drive to the airport!)

Bichon Barb we ate at Artists Point when went last year and I loved it.

I have another QOTD: What was the last WDW resort you stayed at? Mine was the Beach Club Villas and I loved them (I'm sitting here wearing my BCV top now!!)

QOTD, Beach Club Villas last May, we fly out of DFW airport about 3 hours flight...

Talked to stereo store, going by there after work...he explained to me how I can remount our existing equipmentand make it look new (and convince DW it has been there all along...)

:bounce:

QOTD: Louisville (SDF) or Cincinnati (CVG) both have direct flights that take a little over 2 hours. We can also fly out of Lexington (LEX) but we have to change planes so it takes more like 4-5 hours depending on layovers.

other QOTD: Last resort we stayed at was Old Key West & we loved it! 2BR villa with my mom & dad & llebrekniT's family.

I don't talk funny

ooh sorry. I think the pic was taken at Chef Mickeys??? Or am I too late and someone else guessed correctly?

Been working on my swap stuff. Hope to get it in the mail in the morning-no promises.

Wow, lots of QOTD, I fly out of any DC or no. va airport even Baltimore(whatever is cheaper)

QOTD 2-Last resort was the CR. UGH

Bichon Barb I watched QEFTSG last night. Wasn't the straight guy a looker??? Could be a model. Real hottie-except when he opened his mouth. Too 60ish. Did you see the previews of next weeks show when carson said"some gay baby in Ugahnda is missing some clothes" he is too funny

I saw one of the peeps threads. We don't have them here in England (I had never heard of them until today!) but they sound yummy!!

QOTD: I fly out of Raleigh-Durham Airport(RDU)...direct flight on Delta takes about 1hr 45min...easy flights compared to most of you:)

Last place I stayed was CBR and that was 5 yrs ago so who knows what it's like now. First place I ever stayed was Poly but that was in the early '80's when "Daddy" was still footing the bill :teeth: It's been downhill ever since.....lol

It's late here so I guess I better be going to bed. DH has promised me he will make a pile of clothes to put in the suitcase tomorrow so I can see if we need to go shopping!! I think I will have to force him tomorrow!
Good night all. :wave2:

Sorry no color, I have little red potatoes cooking downstairs. We fed the kids early and are having a nice adult dinner, steaks, little red potatoes steamed and then tossed in olive oil and southern spicy seasonings and baked, steamed asparagus and a baguette. (Don't forget the zinfindel--red of course--not white).

Wow, 3 hour drive to the airport! We have a 15 minute drive to the airport. I can spit to the airport from our office. ;)

Ohanafamily. You were naughty, and I am telling. ;) That's okay, DH just bought a new laptop. I think it's a Dell. An Infi??? something 1100. I guess he can now use his cell phone and hook up to get e-mail wireless. I was all for the expense if it means we can take more vacations and check in at the office. :hyper:

Cheeringmom, I missed the previews. I'll have to catch that one. LOL. I told my mother about QE, and now my little old parents are addicted to the show. :teeth:

Oh, last WDW resort was Coronado--if you can count a one nighter. We actually haven't been to Disney too many times since the kids were born. Here is my DIS experience:

1977ish - Days Inn with my cheap parents ;)
1989 - Stayed a couple of nights with my in-laws in their motorhome in FW
1990 - Honeymoon Grand Floridian a few nights\
1991 - Buena Vista Palace
1992 - Port Orleans
1993 - Dixie Landings
1995 - Carribbean
1996 - One night DL (business)
1998 - FW in inlaws motorhome minus in laws :hyper:
2003 - Emerald Isle 3 bedroom townhome for $500 for the week--Don't knock it! It was great.
2004 - One night at Coronado (business)

Tigger Fans!, I really wanted to hold a space open for you in the swap, but you hadn't been around since St. Valentines Day, and no one could find you. I even tried having the Mods send you an e-mail. The next swap I have planned is a holiday gift swap, Secret Elf...we are thinkung of 2 different types...one is a one-time -present swap, you pick something for the person you are assigned, and everyone sends and everyone gets 1 item. The other kind I like is one that lasts over time...you have your person that doesn't know who you are sending you 2 or three small things, and a few e-cards, and other fun stuff...

:bounce:
I appreciate that you tried to include me - THANKS! My email has changed so I never received anything from the mods. I know I've been MIA...but.... I'M BACK! :teeth: I'd love to participate in the next swap!

BTW, would anyone like to catch me up on about 135+ pages of stuff I missed? HB really moved to Orlando???
