Bichon Barb You said it girl, I was gagging all night, if you know what I mean! I just wish my friends, who I know love and care about me, would get off my case about going out with him again......grrrrrrr

...oh, and I think I'll pass on the Chicklets!:teeth:

Gotta run pick up my cute nephew for an afternoon of fun and thrills with his favorite aunt.

Have fun at the poetry reading......I love being a stay-at-home mom for the same reasons....don't have much money but love helping out at school functions!!!!

Thanks, ohana!

I first ran into Bichon Barb's posts on the dark side, so I kinda thought it was a warning of sorts.... or that she was using it to mean "cool". Then later I found the TAGLIARCHY, and saw her post on her doggies, so thought well, must be the dogs. How convenient....it can be both!! Funny thing is, my aunts have 2 yappy little bichons (named Red and Blue after the collars they came with) but it didn't enter my head until I saw Barb talk about hers....can't remember if her avatar was a puppy back then or not....

Anyway, Bichon Barb, I do hope I didn't hurt your feelings or open any old wounds....just an innocent question! And after I started reading her on the TAG (the not-so-Dark Side) I didn't think you were the complaining sort... you seem perfectly nice and down-to-earth, even if you do have scary Easter Bunny pics in your sig ;)

QOTD: What are your Easter plans?
Well, Abbie and I will make decorated Easter egg cookies over then next few days for her to take to school Friday for snack. We'll probably dye eggs Friday or Saturday, but noone in the house likes hard-boiled eggs, so we probably won't waste too many....

Not a big church-going family right now, so it'll be a quiet weekend at home. DH will drive 3 hours down, 3 hours back, to get his grandfather's desk from a cousin who doesn't want it anymore, so Saturday is pretty much a wash. If he gets back in time, I need to go shopping without the kids....for DH's birthday on Tuesday and for Easter stuff. He's been working late all week so I haven't had the time....

Think I'm going to get him a GPS receiver so we can do some geocache-ing when we travel. Anyone else ever done that? Can anyone recommend a receiver for me? Think I'll post a thread...I really need help on that one...I have no idea

cadburysmom that densist did sound a bit wierd, I think you are right not to call him back.

I've just got back from the garden centre. They didn't have a spare pump in but have ordered one for me. However it will take 2 weeks to arrive. So now I have a water feature with no water running from it. Oh well, it makes a nice statue for now

Well it's dinner time here so I am off to eat. I have left a cornish cream tea for everyone in the kitchen though.

llebrekniT next month is my baby's 15mo shots. Owies. At least he doesn't have to get chicken pox shot now. AND at least you don't have to go to the local Health Dept to have them give shots, my insurance does NOT cover any well visits....baby or otherwise.

You may have answered this before, but why do Daniel and Holly attend different schools?

Our insurance doesn't cover it either. Well, they say they do, AFTER we meet our enormous deductible, of course. So I'll be getting the bill for the shots in a couple weeks. It'll come in after the greatly-anticipated bill for the x-rays and bloodwork they did on her when she had pneumonia.

Daniel and Holly attend differently schools because we didn't want to put Daniel in the public middle school. I may have mentioned it before, I wish we had waited until he was 6 to start kindergarten. Middle school years are tough and he is a little on the immature side. His grades are good, but he's somewhat of a nervous little guy and he was very apprehensive about the big ol' middle school. He will go at least one more year to the private school, which is very small, only 17 kids in his 6th grade. It's been a good thing for him.

I'm going to get Ella monkey down for a nap and then finish catching up on posts.
Back soon!

Let's play a little game. While I am getting Ella ready for her nap, you guys see if you can guess what in the world is going on here.

Back soon!

Pox Kid....trying to figure out how to get them off, I think.

Actually, he was getting ready for a bath. He had had spaghetti which ended up all in his hair. See his hands? He doesn't like to be dirty......ewwwwwwwwww.....................

Is that clotted cream Danauk??? Do you have a good recipe for scones? I'm having a tea in May for about 10 ladies and would rather make my own scones then order them Unfortuantely I can't get clotted cream here but will make my own . Wow that looks fabulous!!!!

Ahhhh Lewski709. Chicken pox? Too cute of a pic

No guesses llebrekniT

Yes Cheeringmom it is clotted cream!! Wait until the swap package comes and you might find something in it to help with the scones recipe

llebrekniT I have no idea what that picture is about!!

I'm sooooo confused??? What is this whole "swap package" you guys keep talking about?

Tinkbackwards....I'm guessing something related to "The Living Seas" or "this is what windows look like when you don't clean them for about 100 years!"

TiggerFans check out the color wheel and you can find info on the Tag Swap. I wanted to do an Exchange specific for the Taglicans and this is what we collectively came up with. We tried to find you to see if you wanted to partake.

llebrekniT I was thinking it was Daniel at RFC, but then decided nahhhhhhhh. First thought was coral at RFC though. Second thought was POTC line, but decided nahhhhhhhhh. I give up.

Quick check in with a question. If you eat chocolate cake by taking a fork and cutting off little pieces right from the cake itself--you know, like trimming the sides to make them nice and straight--that doesn't count right? It's the same as if you didn't eat any of it, right?

Kadaten, :teeth: I'm not at all offended. LOL. I can be the other B-word, but just in the morning before I've had my coffee. (Here that Lewski?) And sometimes when I have PMS and feel fat I'm quite miserable.

llebrekniT, I have no clue??????

Lewski, LOL. That's the happiest kid I've ever seen who has the chicken pox.

Does anyone have the Color Wheel link which explains the exchange for Tigger Fans!?

Oh, and llebrekniT, Eric was 4 when he started kindergarten. He'll still be 10 for two months when he starts middle school.

Hey everyone!

llebrekniT, I have no idea where the heck Holly is in that picture.

We were at the Coronado Springs at the Dig Site (pool and playground area). Holly got inside of this thing -

f918ee33.jpg

I was walking around to the front of it to take the above picture when I saw a hand sticking out of the hole you saw in the first picture. The hole is this thing's ear! It totally grossed me out, still does. Someone had the filled this thing's ear with sand and Holly was cleaning it out with her hand. Just makes me sick to my stomach thinking of her pulling out all that yucky wet sand out of this dude's ear.

Thanks to everyone who was concerned for Ella getting her shots. She actually did really well. Cried only a tiny bit, no screaming or anything. One shot in each arm. That means two gifts! We spoil our kids terribly. Whenever they get a shot they get to pick out a small gift. She got a Lion King balloon at Kroger and she will get a singing Simba tonight after dinner. I've had it in the closet, put away for Easter, but I've bought too much for her basket.

Anyway she is 32" tall and 24 pounds. That makes her 90% in height and 65% in weight. She lost weight during her illness, but she's making up for it now.

How's it shakin' Rick? Is your walk improving? Holly twisted her ankle last night in jazz class. Seems to be a curse on the legs of the Tagliarchy and their loved ones. Used to be a curse on the feet for a while, now it is legs.
