QOTD: I drive a black/black Jeep Grand Cherokee and hubby drives a pewter gray Nissan Maxima (but really, really wants an Avalanche).

QOTD: Both of us work in banking.

QOTD: I was born in Mississippi and hubby was born in Germany (AFB).

Hi Tiger Lily 03, you are welcome to stick around!!!!!!!

I think DW and I were the closest...

I think we were born in the same hospital...

:bounce:

Hey gdulaney, this northerner graced your shores for college! How's it going down there in Dukes of Hazard'ville? :wave2:

For the reading along Covington, GA is where they filmed Dukes of Hazard and In the Heat of The Night. Home to red mud and some really rowdy college kids. Cool place, 25 minutes from Hotlanta!

Boards are running s-l-o-w for me, scared to post.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10_1_17.gif' border=0></a>

Very funny, disneyluvers, just noticed my little mistake (or poo-poo, if you prefer), no since fixin' it now that you've quoted me I suppose.

RRBB I'm gonna try and get me a backwards Tink avatar one more time. Thanks for all your help.

DH was born in Toledo and I was born in the town I live in now, which is Georgetown. Interesting question deadheadbelle, you're a thinker.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_4_102.gif' border=0></a>

We had a fun day shopping. It's so fun to try on clothes when you're so cute and tiny. I'm obviously referring to my little Holly.

I'm thinking we need to go and have us some Mexican for dinner tonight. Shopping always wipes me out.

:wave2: Danauk! I would love to come and have Thai food with you tonight. You may have told us this before, but do you live in the city or country or what?

I'm getting a little worried about the swap. We leave in a few days and there's "so much to do and so little time. " I'll manage, but I may have to wait til I get back to throw mine together. Doesn't have to be in Tex. until 4/15, right? I'll be fine then.

Have a great weekend everybody!

Hi there Tiger Lilly 03! Stick around! We're a fun and friendly bunch!

Never fails, whenever I use that word "bunch" I feel compelled to mutter "of oats" right after. Marketing... aaaack!

Have a good weekend to all! I'm gonna head out to see Dawn of the Dead right now!! Woo hoo!

And Joe and I are going to an expo this weekend. They're going to have an entire section specifically for same sex weddings, with vendors, caterers, and more!

Be good!

Oh QOTD.

I was born in Syracuse, and so was DH. (But he grew up in a little town near Syracuse.) And I was not of woman born. (There's a little Shakespeare for ya. Can you figure it out?)

What the heck.....were you hatched from an egg or something?

OK QOTD answers
1) I drive a blue Renault Corsa, not sure you know what they are, they are kind of a small car. Our other car is a green Rover 400, it is a bigger car so my husband drives it. One thing I noticed when in America was the different makes of cars in our two countries.
2) DH and I are both teachers (I guess most of you know that). I teach 7 year olds and have the same kids all the time. DK is a high school music and ICT teacher.
3) DH was born in Oxford in England. I was born in Leeds, England (about a 4 hour drive further north) one year and 4 days later.

llebrekniT my Tai meal was yummy. I had chicken ginger and coconut rice. We live in a town on the edge of the countryside. Rolling hills and thatched cottages are about 5 minutes away and a ruined castle is about a 5 minute walk from our house. We live in the county Princess Diana was from, her ancestoral home and the place she is burried is about 20 minutes away. I used to live in the suburbs of Leeds, Englands 3rd largest city. I miss the city shops and prefer the pace of life up there. I also grew up at the weekends on the East Coast in a fishing town near the Yorkshire moors (where Hogwarts station is in the Harry Potter movies and where the Railway Children was filmed) so am a country girl too. I guess then I had the best of both worlds!

RRBB I'm probably being really stupid, but did you put my pet pictures on the TAGLIARCHY pets page? It's just that I can't see them (it's probably me not looking in the right place or doing something wrong!)

Well its late here and I have to be up early again tomorrow. I am booked in at the beauty salon at 9am, then I have to go in to town, sort out holiday things and then go to visit friends for the rest of the day/evening so I guess I should be getting to bed!

Have a good night everyone :wave2:

ohanafamily and I were born in the same hospital in Dallas, 341 days apart.

Hey y'all, we're off to meet Mad4Mickey now. Nieceosaurus put on her fancy Cinderella dress and tiara. Nephosaurus packed his crystal ball. See y'all later.

Sorry to have just you RRBB-I have been trying for two days to get 009966 ~ Dark Teal-Cyan to stick to my name.

NC Belle

I guess I must be getting close.:D

The Tag Fairy might tease me about the color issue, but at least I got to work for me now.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I guess I better answer some questions of the day.
-----We share a new 2003 Buick Century-hubby gets it 90% of the time for now.
-----I don't work right now-just need to get a part-time job. Hubby's a computer nerd-oops-Systems Admin.
-----I was born in Cheverly, MD-just a stone's throw from D.C.-grow up about a half-hour south of Annapolis. Hubby (NC Beast) was born in Baltimore, MD and grew up there.:wave2:

OK, only at page 18 so far, but wanted to say:

BYE GEFFRIC, have a wonderful trip!

For Shakespearean allusions, the title, The Undiscovered Country, of the Star Trek movie is also from Hamlet...from the to be or not to be speach....."that undiscovered country from whos bourn no traveler returns". Hamlet is speaking of what happens after death (the place you go) and in the movie characters are looking for 'heaven'. Might work for you Depply, might be a bit of a reach from the teacher's point of view.

Will head home from work now and catch up on all the rest of the pages....later kids!

OK, I lied, I didn't leave work yet....read some more pages.

(sorry for no color)

iluvtink......I think I'm the oldest 'regular' poster (54). Of course, Dan Murphy is older but a few year (I think he's 60).

toppers....I just ordered a DIS antenna topper last night from the DIS store...to take to WDW and put on our rental car.

My car......2002 silver Toyota Rav 4.....I love her, her name is Suki.

RRBB, I haven't posted a picture of Acoma yet, can't seem to find one, which is strange because just about every roll of film I've ever shot has a snap or two of her...you know, finish off the roll shots.

OK, that's it through page 22. I'm really heading home now, need some corned beef!

not ANOTHER home!!!

KY is winning!!!! UL plays in 23 minutes! yay!!!

Well, decided on the new avatar...How do you like it? After stumbling across my old ones a couple more times today, went ahead and switched. This one still "looks like me" so it's good. And hopefully since it's similar, it won't throw anyone off (me included!).

Quiet evening at home tonight...just DISing and talking to DH trying to figure out something fun we can all do tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Castlegazer,
Were you at UGA or Oxford? We've only been in Covington for about 4yrs...before that we lived about 25miles south of Atlanta. I knew about "In the Heat of the Night", but not about "The Dukes of Hazzard." Wow...what a truly trashy show!! (Dukes, not Heat)

Well, I'm off to play with the ferrets....
