Another weird coincidence. Was it yesterday or the day before I was talking about Thom from QEFSG? How I went to school with his brother, and he lived about a mile from me? Anyway, there was a whole article about him in the paper this morning. For some reason, Thom went to Nottingham--not the school his brothers and I went to.

Anyway, when I was pledging for a sorority, I was told by one of the sisters that I was to make a cake for Jules (the brother), and it was to be shaped and decorated like a piano. (The sorority sister was best friends with Jules, and we were all in the same trig class. Needless to say, I got out of that one.

Wow, how do I go off on these tangents. I guess I like to hear myself type. I'll shut up. Here is the story. Looks like Jules is living in NYC too:

We don't have a car so we don't have a topper. We ride subways everywhere like all other New Yorkers just about. And if I had a topper, where would I put it?

I'm done entering invoices. Can anyone come out and play with me?

Guess what I'm doing? I'm painting my toenails. In the office. Don't I have a great job!?

Wanna know why? We've got a babysitter, and we're going to the Key West Fest tonight. They have trucked in sand and are having a Jimmy Buffet tribute band.

So, should I wear the tropical drink sweater set or should I rummage through the summer clothes for a tropical print shirt? I'll definitely wear sandals.

Good evening everyone,
Wow you guys have been chatty. I just had to read 10 pages to catch up and I posted my last post less than 24 hours ago!!

So does anyone have any good plans for the weekend? Tonight DH and I are going to the local Tai restaurant which I love - they have the best chicken satay ever. Then tomorrow I am going to go in to town to find postcards of where I live ready for the swap and then we are going to our friends house for the afternoon and evening. We are going to make plans and preperation for our trip to DLP. We decided to hire a people carrier and drive to Paris so we have more room for lugage and duty free goods (we are travelling over using the channel tunnel). We need to check that the hire car company can adjust the lights for us as we will be driving on the other side of the road. Plus we then need to decide what we are going to do each day. We plan to go in to the parks some days and in to Paris on some others. It should be fun.
Then Sunday I guess will be cleaning and doing planning for work day. We have to tidy out the garage as we can't fit the car in at the moment due to a water feature we bought being stored there (we plan to put the water feature in the garden in a few weeks but it will need a kot of diging!)

RRBB could you add my pets to the pet page please, I posted their pictures earlier on, I'll check which page I put them on.

Bichon Barb I have not seen the dogs you were talking about, but then I am scared of dogs so don't know much about them. I was attacked and bitten by a dog when I was younger so I'm not a huge dog fan. Saying that we had a dog that managed to get into our school yesterday dinner time. I was standing by the door in the lunch hall, turned around and there was a big husky dog sitting the other side of the door!! We managed to call the dog warden who checked his chip though so we could call the owners!

Oh well I better go DH should be home soon and I have chocolate to pack for some people to post out tomorrow.

If anyone's interested, my layout that won 1st place for journaling at CKU is going to be published in the August issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine. I just got an email requesting I send in my original to them. Guess I'd better go pack it up for its journey.

Speaking of the swap, does anyone else want to join in? Right now the sign-up deadline is April 1. But I think we're going to move it up some - either by this Sunday or Monday. That sould be plenty of time for everyone else to decide. (I think ohanafamily picked the original date because he gets some kind of thrill out of using April Fool's Day.) The rest of the dates will remain the same though.

Thank you RRBB for getting the date moved up. I am having a difficult time with......POSTCARDS. Can you believe that? Plus, now I have to go back to the store and another store for more of this an a little bit of that.
