:grouphug: for RRBB and ohanafamily whatever your sad :( news was....I hope it doesn't have you down for long.

Thanks to everyone who's sharing their "me, too" info on my medical issues. It really makes me feel better that there are several folks out there where it turned out to be nothing serious ::yes:: I'll call tomorrow and hopefully my referral will be in the system....

RRBB and ohanafamily PD and  to you both! Hopefully your sad news won't have you down too long...let us know if there's anything we can do to help make it better!

I'm on the fence on the driving thing. Now I'm worrying even more. You live in NC and it takes you 11 hours? It's only supposed to take about 14 from here. That doesn't sound good.
Was that directed at me? We live in Virginia, but just over the NC line. However, we live 1.5 hours off of I-95 so that adds to our trip quite a bit!! We also come a lot farther west than you will....you'll pretty much just have to go south...where as we go more southwest....so our distances aren't as different as you would think they would be.... Confused yet? Suffice to say I think your 13/14 hour estimate is a good one.

Well, I see lots of folks are at the Poly! Never stayed there myself, but sure would like to! Think I'll head over there and see what's shakin', but don't worry, I'll be back ;) ::yes::

Tomorrow looks to be a busy day so I probably won't make it in until naptime or after....Hope everyone has a nice day :sunny:

Boy, it sure has gotten quiet here on the island. Seems a lot of TAGLIKINS have jumped ship, so to speak.

Well ohanafamily and I just got back from Miss Saigon. What a sad and depressing show that is. I haven't decided yet whether I like it or not, but I think for ohanafamily that answer is "not". On the way home the light rain turned into buckets. At least no hail tonight. But we sure are getting one heck of a lightening show outside. And the thunder just started to rumble, too.

I have a busy day planned for tomorrow. I have got to clean up the house before the maid gets here - there's stuff everywhere. Then I have a doctor's appt in the afternoon. ohanafamily and I decided to go out for Chinese for dinner so the kitchen won't get all messed up. And when we get home I have to pack for my trip on Friday and organize all the stuff I want to take with me to the scrapbooking convention the day after I get back. (I won't have time next week because my flight home is supposed to land at 5:50, then we have to rush to the Music Hall for Lord of the Dance. And the next morning I'm gonna have to leave bright and early to make my 8am class I signed up for.)

Glad you didn't have to drive in REALLY nasty hail and lightning. I was getting worried about you guys.....there were some threads on the CB about it being really bad out there! You certainly are a busy girl lately! Enjoy your convention.....I really need to get motivated on my rubber stamping....haven't picked up a stamp in months (except for the bouncing Tigger one). ;) Well, as it's starting to hit 100 degrees here....there will be a lot less running around and a lot more staying inside, where it's cool. ::yes::

Time for me to hit the hay....I'm doing the work of two people this week, and trying to do it without overtime, so I really have to be at 100%....need my beauty sleep.

Good night!

Hi all, just got caught up on the last couple of days.... I have had a bit of a rough time; Got to work and found over 7000 SPAM e-mails. I started going through them, and my boss decided I was wasting corporate resources by going through my e-mail for an hour. He gave me a weeks worth of work and said he wanted it done right away, stop everything. I didn't get to a stopping point until almost 6:00, then another 45 minutes to clear out my inbox. Last night at about 9:00PM we lost power, and it came back on at about 8:AM today. Not Fun. I kept getting calls from alarm companies... Had trouble sleeping because a certain Dragon was not as brave as her brother. This morning I went with Robin to an appointment, and then had to rush into work. Power was still out, most of the employees were sent home, I wound up answering the phones until about 3:00PM. when the power came on, I had to verify that the computers were working, contact the alarm company to get them to fix some problems, then I got locked out of the back; the touchpads on the security doors got reset to the factory state. I had to break into the back, dust off the programming manual (with my setup notes), and in between phone calls reset the entire system. I got home just in time to take DW to the play.

The play ended (sad story) we came home, and I caught up for today, and I am about to go to bed.....Good Night All!!!!!

:bounce:

Geesh....and I thought I'd had a hard day at work! You get some rest young man ::yes:: You probably feel like you need a vacation again after these last couple of days. And let me know if you need someone to come over there and smack anybody around....I've been feeling kind of fiesty lately and I don't want to take it out on anybody I know!

Thanks, but I have too much work ahead of me....

G'Noght All, and I sent a couple of PM's to our lost Islanders... Come home soon.....

:bounce:

Morning all, The guys from the Poly will be delivering breakfast soon to the Japanease tea house so go and help yourselves when you are ready.

Today I have to concentrate on my school work. I need to pop into school for a while (yes I know I am on holiday but things need to get done!) to sort some paperwork out for next week, get some books to do some planning with, do a bit of tidying and then get some more reports done. So far I have finished 10 reports and have another 19 still to finish (which are about half done). I want to get 10 more done today and the other 9 tomorrow. Tomorrow Pete has his computer exam so he is revising like crazy today. He's not sure how he will do as the pass rate in 80%!!!!

ohanafamily take it easy at work today. I'm sure things will get sorted for you there soon. It sounds like you were having a bit of a nightmare!! I hope you have a better day today.

Well I guess I better get going.
I'll be back later

Hey guys. RRBB and OF sorry you didn't like Miss Saigon. My sis HATES it.Thinks its very Anti-American. I can see her point. But the music is fabulous. You'll like Joseph. If not, I may have to disown you!!!

Stopped by the Poly. Mel was there giving out ummm well pats on the tush!! Could only stay for a bit

Off to the docs in a few for my stress test and echocardiogram. Wish me luck!!!

OMG, it looks like all my girlfriends/drinking buddies have gotten their panties all in a wad just because I said I have a secret. I see they went off sulking to the Poly, too. Hmmmph. Can't a guy have any fun around here?

If it's that important to you, here's what my really BIG secret was (and if you remember when I said I had it, that should have been a clue)...

I got her this because she loves scrapbooking with RRBB and is planning to go to some convention next week with her and then some other scrapbooking stuff later in the summer. I have to say Nieceosaurus does look really cute in her new outfit, better than the bear in the catalog.

Sorry, no coffee to share with you - I've never been able to drink much of the stuff. I once tried having a cup every morning - when I was in a class with a bunch of Columbians - and ended up killing my stomach.

Good morning to all.

Ohanafamily, I had tried to send you a PM but your box was full. Hope you and RRBB are doing better under the circumstances. I'm there for you in spirit and in heart.

Can't stick around today guys. I have to go to another event today that'll take most of the morning and afternoon. The NY Yankees are hosting a pregame food drive so I have to make sure our volunteers aren't going to insane.

Be good!

Um, hi guys. I'm home.

Thanks for getting us kicked out of the Poly iluvtink! You know they have rules like that for a reason....

Oh well, I didn't sleep well there anyway. I missed my little mansion on the island and I forgot to bring all my pillows with me. I tossed and turned quite a bit.

RRBB and Ohana.

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_13.gif' border=0></a> to Nephosaurus! Didn't anyone ever tell you the story of the dragon who ran around saying he had secrets?<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_2_109.gif' border=0></a> Next time, just do this <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_5_3.gif' border=0></a>.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, the outfit you got your sis is adorable, absolutely precious. Now where's my stinkin' prize?!?!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_2_49.gif' border=0></a>

I'll be waiting....

I'm home!!!

What a great vacation. Can you believe iluvtink? Who'd a thunk she'd be the wild woman to get us thrown out of the Polynesian?

Oh well, it's good to be home. How is everyone? Ohana, clear out your PM's.

RRBB, is this the Boston trip coming up?

Oh Nephosaurus, what a wonderful gift for your sister! You are a very thoughtful young dragon and I'm sure she was very happy with your gift.

...which reminds me....I still haven't given my DBIL his birthday present!!!! It's sitting on my dining table!!!! I think I'd better give him a call today and invite him (and sis) to dinner Friday night and give it to him then ::yes::

Hope everyone has a good day today!
