Depplyinluv, Holly always made me fastforward past the "Grim Grinning Ghost" song, now Ella is pointing at them and yelling at them. Don't think she likes them either. ibounce welcome back, we missed you. I thought I heard some yelling from the water, but didn't see anyone. I tried to include Barb in the party, but she never showed. So...........when can you join us for her birthday. I think she gets back from a SWEET weekend with DH tomorrow. It's not fair.

Afternoon, all! I see you've been somewhat chatty today. Afraid I can only make this quick stop until LATE tonight.

Priced our Moms' group fundraising yard sale last night until the kids were bonker...8:30pm...1.5 hours past their bedtime!! Ran them home, fed them and put them to bed. Played on here a bit, did some laundry, washed the dishes, crashed.

Kids up early in spite of late bedtime, and had to give them baths that we missed last night. Cruised yard sales looking for a patio set (no luck), got lunch, came home to eat and put them down for naps. Now gotta clean while they're out of the way....

We pick DH up at the airport at 6:30pm....hope he's on time 'cause we've got company coming at 8pm!! Boy was that stupid of me to do, but hey...they moved in months ago and I've been meaning to invite them over... That's also why I'm stressing over the cleaning....I'm a "piler"...lots of piles of mail, papers, etc. in the kitchen and breakfast room, but want to get rid of it before company....would rather them actually see a *clean* house the first time they come over, even though it's unlikely to stay that way very long Impossible with a pack rat and 2 kids in the same house.....it's not dirty, just cluttery....

Anyway...off to clean. I hate cleaning. Getting a housekeeper as soon as DH gets his raise in July!! Unfortuantely, she doesn't do the clutter...but at least my potties and floors will sparkle on a regular basis

I'll check in after Trading Spaces tonight (the evening's entertainment) to see what you guys have been up to!

Hey....here's some stuff I forgot to tell you guys....


The SNAKE....in the pool. Don't worry, it was a friendly snake...guess he just liked the pool better than the river! (Apparently this is not uncommon at this resort.......as it's only a few yards from the pool to the river)


Earl of Sandwich......had a late 'snack' here.....great hot sandwich and PixieMagic had a chef salad that they assembled for her. Nice to have a DTD option that isn't a pricy restaurant.


.....back to the laundry!

I've heard stories of the snakes getting into the resort areas before. Give me a wandering gator anyday! THIS must stop!

Yup! No matter what time they go down, they're up by 6:15 (Abbie) and 6:45 (Walt) so I put 'em down early! Walt usually starts his bedtime bottle (a little old, I know, but I pick my battles and right now, this ain't one of 'em) at 7 and is down by 7:10. Abbie usually has stories and lights out sometime between 7:15 and 7:45...depending on how long the books she picked were...luckily she hasn't figured out which ones are long yet, so it's usually about 7:30

So while they were down for naps I cleaned off most of my piles, combined the last 2, cleaned the counters, cleaned the table, lint-brushed all the upholstery (cat hair), washed the dishes, shredded the cheese for the salad tonight, cut/buttered the bread for garlic toast tonight, mopped the kitchen and breakfast room floors, vacuumed the family room, ran all the stuff that went elsewhere to it's correct location and put it away, got out the serving dishes for tonight, and finally, scheduled an estimate appointment with the cleaning lady!! After spending 2.5 hours of a beautiful Saturday scrubbing my kitchen and family room, I just may find some budget items to cut to start her early

Was logging on to check on DH's flight status when DS woke up, and right now he's screaming since I'm on here, so I'm going to go...

Hope everyone's Saturday is more restful than mine!! And for those of you who have a crazy one, too....I'm sorry!!

Hey TAGLIARCHY! I'm sorry I've been gone so long. Work and life have become so hectic!

I hope everyone is doing really well, as I don't think I can catch up on over 150 pages of posts! WOW!

I'll prolly be pretty scarce for the next while, as we have our launch coming up and all of our equipment decided to break at the same time, so I think this will be my last weekend off for the couple of weeks.

Y'all stay out of trouble and I will try and check in more often. Hopefully life will get back to normal in May!

Evening all,
I've just got back from HD's school as one of his students was doing a concert. The boy is amazing, he plays the electone which is kind of like a modern church organ that has lots of sounds on it. It sounds like a whole orchestra is playing when it is only one 17 year old boy! He played a few Disney songs which were really good, he did Beauty and the Beast, Circle of life and then an Aladdin melody.
The weather was really good today and should be tomorrow so hopefully I should get to spend some time outside in the garden. I don't like been inside when the weather is nice. I love my wireless network on these types of days!!
:yawn: It's nearly midnight here so I guess I better be going to :sleep: Both are waiting upstairs so I better go and join them.
