Depplyinluv, HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!!! I can't wait to hear all about it when you return.

ibouncetoo, WELCOME HOME!!! We missed you! Can't wait to hear all about your trip.

iluvtink, glad you survived the SM's overnight. Just a few more hours to go!!

Have a great day everyone!

Well, that was a refreshing four hours sleep....NOT! Acoma Kitten wanted breakfast and the laundry was calling, so I got up. Think I'll do a mid moring nap a little later ::yes::

Not going to do a trip report, but I'll post some highlights here for my TAGLIARCHY pals!

Well, you know about the Gaylord Palms, as I posted from there and the fact that we ate at Cape May that night. I was a little dissapointed in Cap May (not as good as I remembered) however, the chicken salad was DEVINE. I got a little verklemft in the lobby of Beach Club.......finally hit me that I was at my HAPPY PLACE.

Sunday House of Blues Gospel Brunch was delish and way fun. Did some shopping, popped into Epcot and saw/heard Paul James (the gardener guy) from HGTV :lovestruc I just love him, he was very funny! Popped over to Norway for sugar free chocolate mousse, PixieMagic's favorite! That evening we met two DISers, Katypop and Amymouse at the resort bar and chatted away for about three hours! Two very nice people, I've told them to stop in anytime for chocolate!

going to 'submit' this, then change out the laundry...I'll be right back

thanks <font color=darkviolet>deadheadbelle!</font>
im sure ill have a great time, i might even stop by and say hello here!

<font color=669900>ibouncetoo</font> sounds like you had a lot of fun!

:teeth: hope you're able to take that afternoon nap!
::yes::

........trip highlights continuted.......
and not in order, as lack of sleep is making it a bit of a blur....
so I'll go by catagory:

The Parks, did them all, jumped around but in a very relaxing way. Just did the favorites. It's amazing how your 'style' changes when you know that you'll be back (in my case in just six months).
Did Hall of Presidents for the first time and enjoyed that. Sat through a talk at Epcot F&GF on container gardening that was very informative and inspired PixieMagic to redo some stuff for her patio/front yard. And then there was TOWER OF TERROR! OMG, I just loved it. I can't believe I've wasted so many opportunities to ride it. We did buy the picture of my first ride and as soon as we get it scanned I'll attempt to post it.....or at least put it in the DIS photo shop for you to see. The parks were CROWDED! Which surprised me, and I think Disney too. They must have gotten lots of people coming that week due to reduced rates. A week or so before we left MK was scheduled to close at 8 and 8:30 and it ended up being open till 9 and 930, as it was the previous weeks.

I thought about all you TAGLIKINS a lot while I was there.....and thinking of our meet in October. I hope we have weather like this past week was.....just glorious!

The Food, ate it all! It's going to take a couple of days to flush the sugar from my system :hyper: and I had a major carb fest at Boma friday morning for breakfast. We did blow off Germany in a last minute reorganization (hope it will be a place we'll consider for a meal for the TAGLIARCHY). Ate at Trails End for the first time....yummy fried chicken. It was very quiet there that day and there seemed to be a lot of cast members eating there (from the overheard conversations). The price was very reasonable too! Did manage to get a MickeyBar this trip.....just as GREAT as I remembered!

Activities, rode the boat to downtown Disney a couple of times, very relaxing way to travel. Spent one afternoon poolside, reading, napping, having a frozen Margarita! The most fun was the water mice rental. Did that from Ft Wilderness. Rented for one hour (with Annual Pass discount!). Loved racing around in those puppies......this may become a Must Do on future trips.

The resort, I loved POFQ. This was my first moderate and I enjoyed the extra elbow room and the more sedate theming over the All Stars. The walk along the river to POR is very beautiful and relaxing and I'm glad we were at FQ and not Riverside....that place is huge and your room could be WAY FAR from the facilities
Our room was in building #2 and overlooked a beautiful courtyard with a fountain and flowers and benches.....very pretty and quiet. We were right near the boat dock, pool and hot tub.

All in all, a very relaxing, yet exciting (TOT!!!) trip. We even snuck in a movie one afternoon (Connie & Carla....very funny!).

Was at a dr. yesterday and he had one of those scanny things. Didn't have the right frequency but took a look and thinks that's what he saw. I know - bad. But could be worse I'm sure.

outside of rain nothing much,we did have the first weather warnings of the year last night complete with mini power outage

Hey everyone, thank you for the kind PMs, I will do my best to live up to your expectations. I am not a Saint, but I am enjoying this a lot.

The Gallstones must be the reason that Robin has been so moody lately...I mean hasn't been moody at all....

OK, QOTD, are your pets afraid of storms?

All the people in my office are discussing how afraid their pets are of thunder and lightning...

I had a German Shepheard growing up who would jump on my bed and start shaking...

LoL, she said it so sweet and innocently that the sub just said aaw, thats sweet. next morning in the hall, ms. p is out in the hall doing <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_29_106.gif' border=0></a> to all of her students, and even some she didnt teach!!!!!!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/im/rotfl.gif' border=0></a>
