........trip highlights continuted.......
and not in order, as lack of sleep is making it a bit of a blur....
so I'll go by catagory:
The Parks, did them all, jumped around but in a very relaxing way. Just did the favorites. It's amazing how your 'style' changes when you know that you'll be back (in my case in just six months).
Did Hall of Presidents for the first time and enjoyed that. Sat through a talk at Epcot F&GF on container gardening that was very informative and inspired
PixieMagic to redo some stuff for her patio/front yard. And then there was TOWER OF TERROR! OMG, I just loved it. I can't believe I've wasted so many opportunities to ride it. We did buy the picture of my first ride and as soon as we get it scanned I'll attempt to post it.....or at least put it in the DIS photo shop for you to see. The parks were CROWDED! Which surprised me, and I think Disney too. They must have gotten lots of people coming that week due to reduced rates. A week or so before we left MK was scheduled to close at 8 and 8:30 and it ended up being open till 9 and 930, as it was the previous weeks.
I thought about all you

I hope we have weather like this past week was.....just glorious!
The Food, ate it all! It's going to take a couple of days to flush the sugar from my system

and I had a major carb fest at Boma friday morning for breakfast. We did blow off Germany in a last minute reorganization (hope it will be a place we'll consider for a meal for the
TAGLIARCHY). Ate at Trails End for the first time....yummy fried chicken. It was very quiet there that day and there seemed to be a lot of cast members eating there (from the overheard conversations). The price was very reasonable too! Did manage to get a MickeyBar this trip.....just as GREAT as I remembered!
Activities, rode the boat to downtown Disney a couple of times, very relaxing way to travel. Spent one afternoon poolside, reading, napping, having a frozen Margarita! The most fun was the water mice rental. Did that from Ft Wilderness. Rented for one hour (with Annual Pass discount!). Loved racing around in those puppies......this may become a Must Do on future trips.
The resort, I loved POFQ. This was my first moderate and I enjoyed the extra elbow room and the more sedate theming over the All Stars. The walk along the river to POR is very beautiful and relaxing and I'm glad we were at FQ and not Riverside....that place is huge and your room could be WAY FAR from the facilities
Our room was in building #2 and overlooked a beautiful courtyard with a fountain and flowers and benches.....very pretty and quiet. We were right near the boat dock, pool and hot tub.
All in all, a very relaxing, yet exciting (TOT!!!) trip. We even snuck in a movie one afternoon (Connie & Carla....very funny!).
