llebrekniT, why on earth did the hospital have to wait for this one particular doctor? Good God! They should have taken a look at the records from her recent surgery and done appropriate x-rays, CT scan, sonogram or whatever--to find out what was going on!! Is he the only doctor in Kentucky that could read her chart? I'm sorry, but these things really piss me off.

Looking at the bright side, her vitals must have been normal otherwise they wouldn't have taken this long to do something. ::yes::

Get some rest, and just keep the phone nearby. No use in wearing yourself out.

I showered do I smell Purty ?????

I have got to ask this I know Ohanna and RRBB answer to this but for the others in our "Clique" ( I love calling us this )

Do you have June Bugs where you live . They are so big this year that my poor 7 lb Weiner dog is running from them . We bought our new dryer tonight and we had the door open to bring it in and ...... about 5 flew in YUCK !
I'm hidding from them in my room till they are all caught and released or killed .....

Mad4Mickey, I forgot all about the June bugs. Yes, we sure do have 'em. But we don't get them until late May--early June. Last year they were so bad (all over our burning bushes) that I bought June bug traps. Bad idea. The traps smell like female June bug hormones (or something like that) and only attract more damned June bugs.

BTW, are June Bugs the same thing as Japanese Beetles?

Wow! This is way past my bedtime. I'm going to go watch a little SNL. (I give it ten minutes, and I'm asleep on the couch.)

Good night everyone.

Good thoughts going out to TB and DHB. I'll check in in the a.m.

Love ya. Mean it.

Just got off the phone with Don.

Told him the whole story, he questioned everything we did all day, everything the doctor did or didn't do, had me explain the same details over and over and said "so everything's good, huh?"

I said, "well no. She's been through hell today, your poor dad hasn't slept in nearly 24 hours, they've been to 3 hospitals today..."etc., blah, blah, blah. I told him DH and DHB were still there and they would stay until she was in the clear, which she is NOT yet.

Then I told him that they have been letting me call into the room, do you want the number?

He said, "Oh, well no, it's too late to call right now." I told him that it wasn't too late and I had just talked to them, believe me nobody is sleeping. He said "Oh, well, let me see if I can find anything to write with."

I am sooooo done with him.

BB I dont know if they are or not but they are nasty fat flying bugs . I hate them they get in my hair !!!! Bzzzzbzbzzzzz

We had them in MD---they ranged big in size-anywhere from 4-7 feet plus and they come out usually around the first week or two of June hence their name. I think they come out earlier than that now. They usually migrate to Ocean City, MD for a week or so. Some get really red and bloated. Some multiply after that.

Barb I don't "get" this whole medical business. Apparently that surgeon being the one who did the initial op was the only person who could diagnose her. I dunno, I feel like such a dummy in all this.

Can't rest right now, still pissed at Donny. But at least it's a diversion from being pissed at the doc.

I don't think I can go to bed. I'd feel too guilty while the others are still up and dealing with this.

I think I'll turn on the TV and try to calm down. I knew I shouldn't have called them (BIL & Nancypants). I mean, have you ever? I cannot believe them. They only live 45 minutes from here. If a friend of theirs had a flat tire in Lex., he would jump in his Mercedes and zoom right on down, I GUARANTEE it!

Signing off.

llebrekniT, it is a shame that a bunch of Axe Murderers on the internet care more about her than her own son...

Sorry, I shouldn't have said that, but at least they can't drop the kids off at her place tonight...

:bounce:

:grouphug:We are thinking about you, llebrekniT and DHB, and we are up late if you need anything. It was rough for us when my Dad got real ill--he had a lot of stones clogging his liver---this was happening the same week as Hurricane Isabelle. So, I couldn't be up there to see him before his different procedures. He had good specialists in Altoona, PA and was sent to Pittsburgh. He is almost totally recovered--about six more months of meds and monitioring. The doctors thought his stones were from his big weightloss. I hope things get better fast.

Oooh, I know if I were in your position and after the kind of day you had today I would have laid into Don, up one side and down the other. Everyone that matters would forgive you, letting the blame for tearing into the "Golden One" fall to exhaustion. I just get so angry thinking about these selfish people that you have to deal with on a constant basis, even at a time like this. Can I call him and give him and Nancypants a piece of my mind for you? (I'm a scorpio so I have a sting, trust me.)

Actually, no you should say it. And say it very well you did.

Thanks again guys. I'll check in tomorrow.

Actually llebrekniT, I would wail into him and her often and blame it on PMS...It works for RRBB.....

Hey Mad4Mickey, we haven't seen any June Bugs around here yet. They must be stuck in your neck of the woods, which is fine by me. :p
