If we get Pizza Hut, there will be no chicken or onions on our pizza and we will get a cherry dessert pizza.

If we get Domino's we will get cinna-sticks for dessert.

smart move to buy Kadaten. Never heard of Lake Ridge but I bet it is booming now!! When we moved here 1 1/2 yrs ago, the houses were already out of our league. I posted earlier that we recently were looking at a $329,000 TH -25 yrs plus old that sold for $366,000- $30,000 more then it was listed!!! So we are moving back to Ft Walton Beach next summer. No taxes on our retirement unlike greedy VA. We own a home there just minutes from Destin-the Emerald Coast. great house-although small. Only 3 bedrooms. Will build on as soon as we get there.
My dh is a 05 Air Force. He ALMOST went into the Navy. He got his degree in Nuclear Engineering and they wanted him for subs. So glad he chose the AF.
We are tired of the military and want to get out. Just wanted that 20!! You guys are young. We need to turn it over to the younger generation. (he is only 43 but we feel real old!!heheh)

Things get a lot different with kids in the picture. We homestead as much as possible. Doesn't look good on the record but we do what is best for our kids and that is staying in a good school and a good church. It gets tougher when they reach HS. But military kids are well rounded and usually do well in new situations.

Off for awhile. Friday night and nothing to do so will talk the kids into a movie!! yipee!

[COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] I use bark chippings on most of my flower beds to stop the weeds growing through. On my back bed though were the water feature is you have to put pebbles on top of the water feature (they are quite big, not small stones) so the water will drain through them and back into the water tub to be pumped back through. So I will carry this on across the whole bed (so no actual flowers will grow through them the pots will just sit on the top.) They aren't too expensive here, about the same price as a bag of bark chippings.

I was just thinking that when I was your age and had a day off from school I would talk on the phone a lot and go to my friend's house and maybe go for a walk. I would watch a lot of MTV and read a book, listen to the radio and if it was as warm as it is at your place, I'd suntan.

Bill now lunges and barks and growls at the rock, thinking it's the Evil Archnemesis. So we try to avoid going to that part of the block simply because it's embarrassing when our neighbor's see Bill in attack mode. At a rock.

Big bag of dumb, I'm telling ya.

I have watched mtv all day!!!! I hate talkin on the phone!! My friends all live at least 3o minutes away from me!! I've read and re read ALL of my books...and my lil brother's and sister's books too!!!! I can't go for a walk, I'm still babysittin!! He won't leave the playstation!! Like I said, I can't go outside cuz I can't leave my lil brother alone!!! So basically, this is all I have to do!!!! I've watched movies, cleaned, and played with the cats too!!

Rick, you share my son's birthday ... and you must be special because the only other person who shares it who I know is his best friend, and I love him to death. What time were you born? Chris was born at 7:12 a.m. I'm just curious how different from his your report that Barb linked to will be. (Did that just make sense? Sounds kinda convoluted... but maybe you know what I mean!)

BTW, I am in just reading 5 pages and leaving again ... DD whose party is tonight doesn't have any PJ's that fit and she is very modest so this is a Total Catastrophe! One friend is coming at 5 instead of 7 because her parents are going out, so when she gets here, we have to run to the mall. I'm not sure if that's before or after I cook dinner for the family before the SM (screaming mimis) get here. Gotta keep reading so that I won't be soooo far behind tomorrow.

Alright, little lady. If you have done all of that & are still bored, you've got some issues. When you start dating, I think it would only be fair if you wear a sign that says "high maintenance". Have you ever seen Drop Dead Gorgeous? It is PG-13, are you allowed to see PG-13 movies? Anyway, it is a really funny movie.
