OK it's getting late here and nearly time for :sleep: Both are in for the night and are on the bed asleep. I have been reading through my points for tomorrow and my suit is hung up and ready. Wish me luck for my interview tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes. As I said earlier I'm pleased I even got an interview as 72 people applied for the 4 jobs so I've done well to get this far. Anyway fingers crossed for me please

Just finished some yummy pizza. Okay, didn't exactly finish it, the leftovers are in the fridge. I feel really terrible right now. ohanafamily was going to have DNephew-8 over for dinner tonight, but only gave me about 20 minutes notice. I made him call and cancel. I'm just not in the best mood today, plus I hate stuff like that being sprung on me. I told him if he'd called to tell me DN was coming over tomorrow night I'd have been fine with it, but not in just a few minutes. The thing is we haven't seen DN for a few months now - and he only lives 5-10 minutes from us. Oh well, I guess we'll have him, and probably his sister, over some other time.

I'm really trying to get my scrapping swap stuff done today. I have quite a few to go still, but I was on a roll before dinner arrived. I'll scan and post what they look like later if anyone's interested.

cheeringmom, that is one scary looking ax you have there. Please don't let Nephosaurus see it. He might want to play with it. Or worse, chase his sister with it.

Who knows, my dad knows quite a few people!!!"---Sleepy (he passed on in 1986-when I was around your age) did not work at the track, but his nephews, nieces, and great nieces/nephews do. Sleepy used to go the museum a lot and the tour when company came over. The track sure has changed over the years. My dad's cousins still work in various roles. I used to tour the track with my folks the week before the race. I will eventually go to a race maybe in a year or two. Have you been to the memorial garden they set up on Battle St. ? It was nice when I last went in 1997. I need to go see my Great-Uncle Buddy and Great-Aunt Mary---they are close to 90 and they live just outside Talladega.

OMG!!! The bottom two people on American Idol are Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia Berino (sp?)!!!!!

The third bottom was LaToya, my favorite. I guess I gotta start voting next week!!!

Oddball-it is not much of a garden-well at least in 1997. They built it maybe just after Davey Allison died. I think it has tributes to both living and dead drivers on bronze plaques and such. I bet it change a lot since then. It was a nice place to walk around-my grandma had us drive her there every trip.

QOTD: Disney vacations for me and my closest friends/family until the well goes dry!! We had such a good time taking DH's whole family in December...all 20 of them! Luckily, his mom/dad and her sister/DH paid for all us "kids" and grandkids to go They actually said "You plan it, we'll pay for it!" If I won the big bucks, though, I wouldn't have to wait for them to be willing to pay again....

The only 2 REALLY materialistic things I'd like that I don't have are a nice pair of diamond stud earrings and a good pearl necklace. Doesn't every girl want those classic pieces???

Actually, I like to see the best in people until they prove otherwise...

But I understand where she is coming from.....

Oh well, I am working on Special Projects for a while (trying to stay under RRBB's RADAR; she has been a little grumpy today. You should have heard her when my Nephew (8) asked if he could have some of the Pizza I ordered from his favorite Pizza Place (did I mention thatthey have added LOW CARB PIZZA's TO THE MENU??? YUK) I said "Sure you can come over... I had to call my brother back and tell him that DW wasn't dressed, and that she was having a "HOUSE PROUD moment (I.e. the house is a mess) My DN was OK with it, but I do love to spend time with him (and his sister) especially while they are at the age where they apreciate it....

Oh Well, I'm back to copying stuff off of the VCR...Did I Mention we have a TiVo that might be going dead???
