Yup, she is! And yup! You must be, because I'm in on the Oct. meet silly! Well kind of. We are going with DHB and her family and the inlaws. Holly has a fall break but Daniel doesn't, so we have to take him out and he will have lots of work to make up.

Ohana, no, somehow I can't seem to be upset about it. We did start it by not inviting them.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_2.gif' border=0></a> Guess I'll just have to lick my wounds and go on with my day. Oops, I don't have any wounds. Just a big silly grin on my face.:teeth:

If anyone is interested there is a special offer right now to open a new annual fee, 0% intro. rate Disney Visa with $50 rewards dollars after your first purchase. Worth doing if you are good about paying the balance at the end of the month. We opened ours last spring and went on our trip in March with $300 in reward dollars to spend! I have the special number if anybody wants it....

Oh RickinNYC Where are you? Babycakes here with another challenge for the Slasher Flick King! So sorry I taunted you the other day then had to scoot before offering the question........

Here's a hint...this isn't really from a slasher flick....but is from one of my very favorite movies of all time that SHOULD be a slasher flick with all the violence thrown in......I know I'm gonna botch this but one of my favorite lines is....

"So what are you afraid of? Scared I'll bleed on you?"

Name the movie, oh wonderful and all-knowing Slasher Flick King!

Yo Tinkbackwards! I saw the famous pic of your little girlie girl in the latest Mousears newsletter! How cool! You and the little one are celebs!:hyper:

I am SUCH a loser today.....not enough sleep........I told you I'd botch the line and I did........ok, here is the revised and corrected version.....

"What are you gonna do now, bleed on me?"

other hints from the same movie:

...cows catapulted out of castles, airspeed of coconut laden swallows, coconuts clacked together to make hoofbeat sounds, tons of wedding guests mistakenly slashed to death......

Any of this sound familiar?

HA!
Darn it! He got it while I was posting other hints! Give that boy a HIPPO!!!

Good for you......I just LOVE that movie and laugh myself silly whenever I think of the black knight scene!

Gosh I hate getting this far behind!

Hunter has a cough today, so we are home. (Actually, he singing and playing with the dogs right now--real sick. ) I'm hurrying, because I started mowing the lawn, then it started drizzling rain, now it's clear again so I want to get out there and finish before the rain comes again.

TB, Congrats on the photo! :Pinkbounc I knew it was a winner!

STACY, welcome to our jar of nuts!

DHB, glad mom is doing better. :D

ALCOHOL, My name is Barb, and I drive a big pick up truck and like beer. (But not at the same time. ) I also like wine. I think wine coolers and such are disgusting! :crazy2: I do NOT get drunk. I am too old for that sort of thing. And that's the way it is this 12th day May, 2004.

TAG MEET, what are everyone's thoughts on starting a new thread about the October meet. That way we don't have to bore all of you who are not going? Let me know, and I'll start one if you want.

So sorry Hunter is sick and hope he feels better soon...sounds like he's already made a pretty miraculous recovery;)

I, too, think winecoolers are disgusting but beer and wine and any other fruity drinks will definitely make this girl happy

And please don't feel you need to start a new thread about the October meet.....I actually enjoy listening to your banter, it's actually kinda entertaining hearing everyone's opinion..... and it's getting me excited about my own upcoming trip:teeth:

 <font face=andy COLOR=royalblue size=5>GOOD MORNING!</font>

I first saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail in High School - in my biology class! Not sure how my teacher tied it to the curriculum but he was a totally cool teacher! :cool1:

I loved the sword fight scene where the guy kept saying.....
"Only a scratch, only a scratch" as his opponent continued to defeat him (I believe the line "what are you going to do now, bleed on me" is also from that scene)

Sorry to hear Hunter isn't feeling well! Good luck with the lawn mowing!

Just was ready to head out the door and got a phone call from PixieMagic....she threw out the idea of skipping a long weekend trip this summer to San Diego...(or just changing it to an overnight trip) so we could UPGRADE the back end of the Oct WDW trip....like to Beach Club consierge :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

well.....that will give me something to think about for the next week or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

must find things to sell on e-bay....

TIGGERFANS, what a cool teacher! :teeth: I did have good enough grades in my senior year to be eligible to take the coveted "Films" class with Mr. Gardino. What a fun class! We got to study "The Birds" and "The Graduate" and all those classics.

Well, obviously I still haven't finished the lawn. Here are my flight options.

Delta (free Am Ex ticket) - forget it! Lousy flights

Continental (free) - see Delta

Jet Blue - would have to pay $267.90 and would only have 40 minutes to catch connecting flight in NYC.

USAirways - (free Am Ex ticket) - Could take the 7:00 a.m. flight out of Syracuse, stop in Philthadelphia or Pittsburgh and land at MCO at 11:26 a.m. Then I could leave on the 13th at 11:55 a.m. and arrive in Syr at 5:03 pm (I like this option 'cause I can see the kids before bed.)

It stinks that there are no direct flights from syr to mco. :( If my flight in is too late, I can take a taxi or Mears. But I still can't book until I get 600 more AmEx points. Hopefully that will be this month.
