RickinNYC, I got one you probably know that wasn't a slasher flick.....

"It's just a jump to the left, and then a step to the ri-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ight. Put your hands on your hips and bring your knees in tight....It's jus a pelvic........."

Or here is a more difficult one (non-slasher type) "No matter where you go, There you are!"

OK, one more you probbly won't know...
Waiter: Un Pernod, avec de l'eau?"
Answer"We, UnnnnPerrrnodd, avec da LOOOOOw"
(also "Every dog has his day", or "I like Soft Young bouys, how you say 'Weirgens")

:bounce:

BTW, shed no tears for Hunter. He just came in and told me he was bored and asked if he could go to the frog pond. :teeth:

The first one is from Rocky Horror Picture Show (but of course), the second one is from Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, the third one is.... no friggin' clue!

It was called "Gotcha" ... it was a fave of mine...

Sort of pre-cody banks w/o the gadgets.

It is about a college student that played the game and wound up in a spy thing.....

:bounce:

Is the third one from European Vacation you know the movie with Chevy Chase (the Griswald family).

Don't start a new thread about the meet I love to hear about it just in case I don't catch any Diser's.

I have a cold so I'm whiney, waaaaaa. Is'nt it amazing gave birth without a second thought got a cold it's like I'm in a coma.

What's for lunch?

I should have known that one! I loved that movie and watched it a ton of times years ago.

cadburysmom--did you see the new hours for May/June....There are 2 Spectromagic parades on May30, Sunday, with the second one at 11pm.:Pinkbounc
So, you like venturing into the Containment Area for Relocated Yankees....that was fast service. It took forever at 2 DMV to get my renewal several years ago and we were in the middle of moving then too.

Ohanafamily, was I right about Buckaroo Banzai? They said something like what you quoted but I'm not 100%

Just trying to catch up on posts from yesterday....

<font face=alba size=7>Congratulations on winning the photo contest Tinkbackwards!</font> <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_5_32.gif'>

<img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_1.gif'> Must finish reading and see what else I missed!

Doggy owners---do your dogs like to catch bees, flies, and spiders for a gourmet snack. I think Jessie has been sampling things like that---caught her this a.m. trying to catch several bees and a big fly. She was sick earlier from her dog food. Jessie was like this last year, but not too bad. I guess she is starting her "terrible two's" this week. If she gets sick, her vet is open late today. The dog that I grew up with never did the bug thing--she loved to hunt squirrels and rabbits---sorry Danauk

Darn I'm slow......and such a LOSER today!

And to continue this "loser" status, I have a stupid question for you....this concerns CRAZY NEIGHBOR who constantly complains to me.......

...this time, the CRAZY neighbor next door says my yard man is mowing a little into her yard every week and is messing up her grass....our yards do meet but she has started using a different kind of grass seed. I, along with the neighbor on the other side of her use the same lawn service, so our lawns look a little different than hers, much better in my opinion, but different just the same.....ok now, back to my question.....is it really hurting her lawn if he accidentally mows some of her grass? I'm sure he's only doing it because she doesn't mow as often as she should and it makes my fenceline look uneven when her grass is almost knee high! I really don't want to have another ugly scene with her so please tell me if I am honestly messing up her grass.

Ok, end of rant, she really gets on my nerves and I appreciate you putting up with my complaints ::yes::

cadburysmom---We used to have neighbors use a portion of yard to cross on horseback. Jessie used to be real upset. I haven't seen any of those people on horseback this year.:teeth:

After reading 5 pages of posts since about 10:00 last night, good morning!

First, as always, thanks for the yummy breakfast Danauk. How was school today?

Let's see, AI... I hope Fantasia gets the boot, also. She is a better performer than little Jasmine, and I bet in a couple of years Jasmine will be back, but I hate Fantasia's attitude and the way she kind of slits her eyes and they look half rolled back in her head sometimes when she sings. I think you have to have an AI you can stand to look at, not just listen to. I think I hope LaToya wins... but that little DeGarmo girl really has improved the most, like Clay did last season.

Deadheadbelle - give sweet Griff a trophy base that says best at everything like his mom and dad, and tell NP to take him to a trophy shop to choose the top he likes best. Oh, and have a safe trip to Cinci. Where do they live in Cinci? Don't let it be the witch that lives down the street from my SIL, don't let it be...

llebrekniT - I think you should send a $5 gift certificate to NP to thank her for saving you the misery of going to the party! Oh, and how about posting that Disney VISA number. I should have done it before now, my trip balance is due May 27. Wonder if I can get them to speed process the request?

ibouncetoo - Sorry you're feeling bad, and sorry you didn't catch it from your "friend" from DL... hee hee. Hope you feel better soon. I think staying at BC Concierge would be so fantastic. Go for it.

StaceyA, thanks for the Cornish Hen recipe. Looks good, even without le chocolat!!! Glad you can DIS at work, unlike our downtrodden friend, Lewskiwhohasanoppressiveemployerandissearchingforanewone.

BB don't start a separate thread on the October meet. As depressing as it is that I'm homebound, I still like to read your plans. There is a lot to learn when people are planning trips. Oh, and hope Hunter catches enough <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_9_3.gif' alt='Frog 5' border=0></a> that you can make <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_9_2.gif' alt='Frog 4' border=0></a> <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_6_24.gif' alt='Knee' border=0></a> for dinner.

s&k'smom - hope you feel better, too. I think a cold in the spring when it's beautiful outside is just a bite.

Tigger Fans! - I PM'd Rikku about 2 weeks ago to see if he wanted our extra Cindy ressies, since the Tag Meet calendar showed him being in WDW on July 31st. He wrote back and said they were leaving on the 31st. He wasn't very chatty, but then I've never talked with him. He vanished before I arrived at the Island. Maybe he thinks I am a <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_11.gif' alt='Crazy' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15_1_60.gif' alt='Grim Reaper' border=0></a>???

RickinNYC, hi and I'm all movied out. Besides The Exorcist, The TownThat Dreaded Sundown, that Black Museum movie, and the Dark Shadows movie are the extent of my slasher experiences. However, your depth of knowledge is remarkable...<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_3_3.gif' alt='Bow Down' border=0></a>. Hi to Joe, too.

cadburysmom, just put a dead <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_3_169.gif' alt='Rat' border=0></a> in her mailbox. You'll feel better! ;)

CourtasanSatine, ... I've been meaning to ask you... what does your signature mean? Is it from a movie or movies? Just curious because it's interesting. :)

Okay, all caught up and now exhausted and dizzy. This DIS'ing stuff could be a life-time profession in itself. Maybe Lewski could charge minimal fees from other DIS'ers to keep them up to date on the different threads...?

Feel free to rant.....it's good for the soul! I can't see how mowing the lawn is hurting it??? Is the lawn service actually mowing past the property line or is it just her perception?

You are too funny......we rented a house in Cary when we first moved back to Raleigh and were definitely surrounded by "Yankees".....no offense of course to those in the TAGLIARCHY! :teeth:

Cadbury often does the bug hunt thing...it's so amusing to me....can't imagine they have much taste though....so sorry Jessie isn't feeling well......maybe she ate something bad while on a walk......this occasionally happens with Cadbury

And thanks for the heads up on the Spectromagic times!::yes::

NCBelle, I know what you're talking about! My dog Bill, aka Prince of Darkness, tends to try to catch any/all flying bugs that zip by him. He can get fixated on it for hours but God help him should he actually catch one. He snagged a big house fly once and initially looked pleased as punch. Then his handsome/cute doggie face wrinkled up in abject disgust and did a "ptewey" sound and out came a disgruntled, very wet fly.

You'd think he'd have learned his lesson but nope.

My dog is not just the lord of all that is evil, he's the chairman of the short term memory club!

Cadbury'smom very funny quote about Yankees! It is scary to be surrounded by us we drive nuts and talk to fast! I'm a Vivian Leigh fan and there was a funny quote I read once when was selected to play Scarlett O'Hara and the fact that she's English, it went something like "at least she's not a Yankee"!
