Ok, I just have to share this with you.

I am balancing our credit card statement so I can pay the bill. DH knows which card is for business and which is for personal, but he still mixes them up.

That is part of my gripe. I just found a receipt that was a business purchase on the personal card and it is for 15 cents! Did you hear me? 15 cents! That's the total.

I didn't even know you could charge 15 cents to a Visa.

Danauk Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous....no wonder you loved it there. I spent my college years at an all girls' school, excuse me, 'women's college' in the rolling hills of Virginia that had previously been a plantation. It consisted of 4400 acres and was absolutely beautiful. Horseback riding was the big sport and we had plenty of space to maneuver. I had planned to go there two years then transfer to University of North Carolina for my last two, but I loved it so much that I stayed. I don't regret it for a second and made the best friends ever!

....and even more shocking, what the heck can you buy with 15 cents these days? :rotfl:

Let's hope it wasn't your Mother's Day present! :rotfl:

Apologies for the pictures being huge. I tried to get them smaller by following the instructions on the tech forum but they would not post, only as web page links. I had this trouble before, I guess I was not following the instructions properly!

:bday: :cake: Happy Birthday Castlegazer!

Gotta run sit in the carpool line  see ya in a bit
:wave2:

Thanks guys, I didn't mean to gratuitously ask for happy birthdays but it is nice of you all. You're making my afternoon sitting here waiting to leave work.

Hey Danauk - that is a beautiful University. Scent of a Woman and The Emporer's Club were filmed at my high school which was built to look like an English mansion. It is beautiful - it was agirl's school, though, and both of those films depicted it as a boy's school.

Very funny cadburysmom. Actually I'd prefer it as he has a bad habit of spending too much. If I offer him a few suggestions he will get them all. If I don't offer enough suggestions, he'll pick out things by himself and he's really not very good at that.

Danauk love the pictures! I've heard before that England looks alot like this area, central Ky. and judging from your pictures, it does.::yes::

cadburysmom I did my graduate degree at that uni plus my teaching certificate so I was there from age 18-22.
I found another 2 great photos.

Is this what you think of when we talk about English countryside? I was just wondering.

Huh? What? How could you NOT like Four Weddings and a Funeral? What is it with you people today?
Remember the first wedding, the rings that they had to borrow? Well at a friends wedding that I was in, her sister and I schemed to do something similar since that was one of the bride's favorite movie. I found a play ring - about the size of the "Bling-Bling" in the swap - a big ole plastic diamond that I decorated with glitter and those little stick-on earrings little girls wear. And for the groom, it was one of those eyeball rings. Her sister and I didn't tell anyone until just before the ceremony, even the maid of honor and best man. It was so funny when those rings were pulled out. And when the minister asked about using them, the bride said something along the lines of "we better go ahead, they're not going to give us the real ones." So they got married in the funky rings and didn't get their real ones for hours.

Here's a picture of the page I made about it in the scrapbook I made for them. Unfortunately the pic of the rings has that glare on it, but trust me it really was funny.

Looking at these pictures brings back memories!! This is where DH and I met. The grounds are also a sculpture park, but only students can walk around the lake. It was great to do when you were stressed or revising on the banks in the summer (a bit like they do in Harry Potter!)

Oh, and one other thing, Andie McDowell did the WORST acting job ever in that movie...they should've used another actress, IMHO. But I still LOVED the movie anyway :teeth:
I forgot to mention, I think Andie McDowell is an awful actress all around. Never have liked her, though she has been in some good movies. They've carried her no matter how much her acting stinks.

Hi everybody! Just a quick check in from Los Angeles! Just had my meeting and am now killing a little time before we all go to lunch! Caught up on all the pages, but can't comment at this time.

Do need to ask Cadsburysmom what school she went to....my sister was considering a couple different ones that sound like that, as well as some equestrian academys.

Take care.....and once again llebrekniT....you crack me up!

Hey cadburysmom, did you see what I posted earlier about Monday night? A Wrinkle In Time is on ABC during primetime. We've already got Tivo set to record it. ;)

oddball27 - there are tons of these dolls saved on our 'puter... my DD Kelley did tons of them in 7th and 8th grade! Why didn't we have fun stuff to do like this back in the stone age when I was born?????

LoL, it's so much fun!! I got Heather hooked on it!! All of her burned cd covers are dolls!!! Now that I showed her like, everything about the computer, she is on it almost as much as I am, LoL!!!!!!!:teeth: :teeth:
