Okay QOTD (and a good one if I say so myself):

Tell us about your first kiss...I mean REAL kiss--no pecks on the cheek (if you are brave enough ;) )

Mine was when I was in the eighth grade. A boy named Scott Morgan asked me out. He was big for an eighth grader and into sports and weight lifting. He had long blonde hair. He was walking me home from school. We stopped, he put down his lacrosse stick, and he kissed me ever so gently right there in the middle of Forest Hill Drive.

Sighhhhh:lovestruc.....after that description.....I think I'm in love with Scott Morgan.....how does he look now and is he MARRIED? :p

::yes:: first time is difficult. We went on our honeymoon 2 +yrs after being married and Grant was 1.5yrs. We were in Jamaica for a week.....it was great. Of course, I missed the little guy, but DH and I needed the time alone.

We went to Mexico a year later and it was much easier. He got quality time with Gma and Papa. They take him for a week every year, if not more. They live 1hr away and he loves it. Idolizes Papa. We haven't left Tye overnight anywhere.

OMG! Funny you should mention that. Right after high school he married the high school art teacher. No one even knew they were an item! She's got to be 10 years old than him! Everyone flipped out when they heard.

Hey, you guys better start answering my QOTD. I'm not going to look like a fool all by myself.

SCREWBALL27, you are exempt from my question. Anyway, you better not be able to answer that question! ;)

Bye, s&k'smom. We'll miss you! We will not behave.

Lewski709 - my bad. I said I couldn't remember who was grumpy, so I guess I proved it by asking if you were! Nice to have you around today. Makes me a little less grumpy.

Everyone, thanks for the dead battery sympathy. Mr. Rescue fixed it so I can pick up kids in a couple of hours.

oddball27 - when my DD was in 8th grade, kids asked each other out and broke up on IM and not in person or on the phone. Is that what y'all do?

Bichon Barb, with Troy's rating, I doubt if we see any hamster evidence ... but as for the rest of the package, let's just say I will take a fairly good sized slobber-rag when I go!

QOTD: First kiss: I was playing Lucy in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" (Yes, very much a type-cast role), with my church drama group. On my 16th birthday, we were doing the performance at a Swedish nursing home, and it was actually Santa Lucia day. So, in the middle of the performance when I had just sung a song, these old people started singing "Santa Lucia" in Swedish and I just stood there, not knowing what to do. Then they broke into Happy Birthday, and Charlie Brown and the rest of the cast came out with a birthday cake, and CB kissed me right smack on the lips on stage. It was a nice kiss, though not as long as I would have liked, and was the first of many, because we started dating right after that. It was a very sweet first love... mmmmmm..... hey, you made me smile!

nope, most people do it in person or by friends!!!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

LoL, don't worry, I can't!!!:teeth:

Okay, I'm about to go take drugs and a nap, but I need to know this first: Did you go to school together and have the same teachers, or what. I am feeling kinda "duh" here.

Also, when is kadaten coming back? Has anyone been keeping her a summary?

iluvtink, we went to school together. While we were in high school, he must have been "dating" one of the art teachers. I think she is my sister's age which is ten years older than me. We graduated, and not long after that I heard that he and the art teacher were married. Kind of like the Mary Kay Tornoult (sp?)story. Except, Scott was a bit older and there were no babies born.

Dang, Cadburysmom, could you take his last name out of your post. I'm getting paranoid. LOL.

Last I knew is that he was teaching too, and they never had any children.
