That's one of only 2 things Abbie remembers! It's one of only 2 things she talks about wanting to do next week!! Where did you hear this blasphemous rumor???? I know they gotta do these things when they can, but their website has said June 6 for a long time now, and we were so happy to be getting in before that! Just checked the WDW website calendar, and it's reporting the same thing you are. Oh no.

From the official WDW site:
"it's a small world" will not be operating May 2, 2004 until Spring 2005, however we recommend Pirates of the Caribbean as an alternative during this time. I guess they just recently changed the closing date. I'm soooo bummed about this, too. I was looking forward to riding it when we're there later in May.

Well, I most DEFINITELY resemble that remark....and with a college roommate from outside Boston who made fun of me every time I said it, I've definitely paid the price!

But, I have noticed that northern guys love the way southern women talk......case in point....when the Redwings played the Carolina Hurricanes for the Hockey championship 2 yrs ago, one of the games was played here in Raleigh, NC and we all went to see it. Northern guys would stop us in the corridors and say "Say something southern for us...we just love the way you talk".....I kid you not! We felt like a bunch of Scarlett O'Hara's and laughed and laughed about it. The guy I was dating at the time was soooo jealous and I loved every minute of it Oh, if those cute Redwings fans would only return.........

Nope, but I lived in Corpus Christi....long before y'all were born (I was an infant at the time!). However, I have worked with people in Dallas broadcasting for about 30 years! So, if he's had any contact with advertising agencies or broadcast rep firms or TV stations that could explain it. The last name isn't that uncommon, there are usually a couple in every city I've checked. And I know there is another Jackie walking around with it (as well as another Jack, like my dad).

ohanafamily and RRBB, thanks so much for doing the swap and putting all the work and worry into it. I'm sooooo sorry I slowed down the works!

ohanafamily, to answer your question about the drug test, they do an initial urine test. Basically, we go in, they give us a cup, we provide the sample in front of an observer and then they do the testing at Randolph AFB, TX, I think. If you come back positive for anything, they have an interview with you, check your medical records and make you re-test. After that, if you are still innocent, then you can request hair and blood tests, but at that point, most everyone who was positive twice is actually doing something.

Now, my question for you...

I need to get a new scanner, since Brian's gave up on me. I want one that scans photos and negatives and is a really good resolution. Do you have any recommendations?

Morning all from rainy England,
I quickly skipped through the posts but will read properly later as I am in a hurry to get to work. Today is school photo day so I need to look OK!!
As for talking funny. I lost my Yorkshire accent when I moved down south, however when I talk to my dad on the phone I slip back into my old accent!! When I go home though they tell me I sound posh!!

It turned out to be bad heartburn. I have only had HB 1x and that was when I was pregnant. So of course I thought I was a goner. Spent 5 hrs there so no time to read the posts last night. I go home just in time for AI. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1/1_4_45.gif' border=0></a>What a loser show last night. My fav was Diana and not a big fan of hers but she was the best last night IMHO.

re: my ER trip, I waited until my 14 yr old came home so he could watch the 4 yr old. It felt like pressure on the chest, like someone pushing or sitting on it. No burping or the sour taste in my mouth that is why I dismissed heartburn. I had an EKG, blood tests, xray and BP monitoring. My BP was high everytime they took it. 155/98 to 160/105. They didn't know what was going on there so now I'm being monitored for two weeks. The price of age!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAA

This is not a rarity. This happens everyday. This and worse, much worse. This is what happens when babies are crazy. Just look at all those poor little dollies, all lined up in a row, waiting to be next in line for their showdown with Ella and a baby wipe. Observe the look of "what are we going to do with this baby?" on Holly's face. She's the craziest baby EVER!

Cheeringmom - nope not yet. NP and Don haven't tried it yet. But I know if they asked her today she would say yes. Today she is going to try and work for two hours and then take on a full day tomorrow. Hopefully she'll continue to take it easy for the next several weeks, well until June when the doc. goes back in and gets the thingies out of her belly.

Good morning, great news. They are going to start my little DD in a summer program through the town we live in. My baby will be starting in July. My little baby is growing to fast.

Good for mom. She is too sweet of a lady to say "no" that is why she needs you both to look after her. She needs her rest.

Who knows what I ate. I never eat hardly at all. I had a 1/2 slice of Pizza the night before. Just the age girl, just the age!!
