How is your day going?

going pretty good right now VERY busy at work which is a good thing - I had 4 people on the phone at once at one point. phew didn't know nails were that popular

it's raining awful here.

how about you? hope you are doing good.

can't wait till dh gets home though. sat the kids and I are going to do a little shopping ds needs some clothes for a play and dd needs a dress.


not only did dd get the leads in both plays but ds got a role as well. so both are in the play! dd is in two and ds is in one!

what kind of nails are you talking about? The finger tip kind or the building kind? If its the building kind, are you seeing an increase in building around there? That is really awesome about your kids both getting play roles. I hope ya'll have fun shopping.

I'm sorry for the weather, but I tell ya, I'm very envious of all the rain you are getting. LOL
We actually might get some rain sometime this week. A longshot, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I really don't want to cut down my watering to twice a week. My poor lawn!

That sounds great!! The economy is showing signs of improvement everywhere!!! I stay glued to Fox, MNBC, and FOX Business channels on and off all day. I'm also excited about the new businesses moving in around here.

Hi all! Big weekend down here. The Honda Grand Prix is in town. We're going to a night parade tonight to kick off race weekend. I'm working all day Sunday covering the race for my work. It'll be fun and totally exhausting at the same time. I just hope I don't look like an idiot doing interviews since I don't know most of the race people.

Our drought is very bad. We are down to lawn watering one time a week, while other areas are about to ban it totally. We really need some rain. It's so bad I'm hoping hurricane season starts soon so we get all the tropical storms.

Hey Mean Queen. I didn't know Honda did a Grand Prix there. That should be really interesting. I'm sure you'll do fine.
We have already had 2 1/2 inches of rain. By time this thing leaves tomorrow they are saying totals of 3 to 5 inches. Our creek is over flowing. Its at the bottom of our "slope" so we don't have anything to worry about. Speaking of hurriane season....have you heard what this year is supposed to be like? I have already been taking stock of my supplies.

I have a meeting to "clear the air" tomorrow with the principal and a teacher who is driving me crazy. Somehow, however, I feel like I'm going to come out the evil one, even though I am an administrator myself. It's aggravating. I tell her that she needs to do something, and she turns around behind my back 9 times out of 10 and asks someone else. Who in turn will tell her to ask me. . .I'm so sick of it, that it is time to clear the air. But the email I got from the building principal was not promising for me. Oh well, as long as I come with my documentation, I'll be fine.
