Good morning. It may hit 50 today. I'm so ready for warm weather. Hmmmmm, now that I think about it, 50 probaby doesn't sound like reason to be happy to most of you. It's a step in the right direction for me though.

I am. It's April 1st and I refuse to wear a winter coat. I have my Columbia zip up fleece on. It was 31 when I got up but 34 now. Still a little chilly for only a fleece but it will warm up as the day goes on.

I joined the gym on Monday. I finally found a Wii fit yesterday.

So, that all equals to: I am sore.

Also, we got a call from the recreation ball guy this morning. Guess what?!? Guess who is coaching this year?!? If your guess is Dan and Amanda, you are right. I'm a glutton for punishment. Apparently, one of the coaches backed out and since we had 2 kids on the team, well, you get the picture. . .

We had a 1st at our little high school today. While I was at daycare, the lady's daughter came home. She is also my daughters best friend. She told us the police and drug dogs came to the school and searched lockers and cars today. At least 1 senior was busted. 2 others that normally have stuff on them were not at school at the time. Another friend had beer in her car, but I don't know if it was found. I'm sure I will get more details when I pick up my daughter.

creativeamanda, I know it will be busy, but I hope you enjoy coaching. Years ago I got suckered into becoming a Girl Scout Leader when the current leader had to step down for dipping into the troop funds. Lets just say, I would rather coach.

Suffice it to say we are taking a day off here at my in-law's. We officially leave for Florida tomorrow.

We love this game too. You should try Outdoor adventure. It has several outdoor games on it.

I would love to try a wii game. They sound fun.

Well nothing has happened at the high school so far. We assumed the girl was busted b/c she was telling people she had stuff in her car. My daughter said the cops were there all day and nothing happened. I wonder why? Maybe the 1st time they are contacting parents and going that route. You would think they would have done something right away if they planned on making arrests. I don't know how these things are usually handled since this is our 1st.

The students were told that they were going to have another search and next time the dogs will also be brought into each classroom to sniff bags. This is quite an unusual scene for out little school. There is a new principal this year. Seems like things are changing which doesn't always mean for the better. The joke is that if any school needs searching, it's the much larger high school 1 town over which is shared by area towns. My daughter knows many kids that go to that other school and they have spoke of the ease of obtaining chemicals in school. Kids in this town who want stuff know who to contact from the other school. Overall, the dogs had a pretty boring day at our school. I guess most of the students involved in those things know to keep their stash off school property. After today if they have not learned that then they are completely stupid.

It certainly never got near 50 today. I think the high was 38.
