Me too! I've been busy this week plus we've all been sick, and my dad did arrive yesterday. And because you're my friends, I'll just tell you that things aren't going real well for us right now so I just plain haven't felt much like DISing....

To think last week at this time I was at Animal Kingdom sweating. Today I was pulling ice out of my dogs water bowl. Time to bring that inside. Just got to prepare myself for the constant slobbery mess that comes with it.

I will just think of the nice day we had at AK. It wasn't very crowded and we got a lot done. I even saw The Lion King show for the 1st time. With me were my husband, mother and sister in law. No way were my kids going to sit through that. They ran the other way and rode Kali River Rapids as much as possible. They took the friend that my brother brought for my neice. My brother and neice were off looking for her glasses that she left on Everest. Speaking of Everest, it made me feel worse than going upside down on Rock N Roller Coaster at HS. I think it was the backwards motion that did me in. I didn't even ride it again with my fast pass. I happily waited while others rode. I have not seen Flights of Wonder. Have any of you seen it and was it worth it?

Thanks Mom just came back from the counter and they can get us to Minneapolis. We may have to pay to get a connection on another flight but oh well. We'll see how it goes!

I have not seen Flights of Wonder. Have any of you seen it and was it worth it?

I LOVE Flights of Wonder. One of my favorite things at AK. The show is a little predictable and cutesy, but the birds are amazing.

Well, I'm packing the car right now. Dh has to coach the Senior girls for the Powderpuff football game, so he'll be out until 10 or 11 tonight.

Ok... when you leave the park do not, I repeat, do not miss the candy people just on the other side of the turnstiles. Let's just say dark chocolate, caramel, and Ghiardelli's. Yep. Pure heaven that none of the kids liked. So I got them all!!!!!! (insert evil laugh here.) Now, if they aren't giving the same thing away, it usually is the best candy of the night so the tip stands true.

My friend, who has gone with us the last few years and knew the best candy was at the end, missed it. Her DD wanted to leave early and was too tired to let her mom walk back when she missed the candy. Some of the other kids were nice and gave a bar to her. These aren't the small snack sizes. It's a good size square.

Yum! It looks like Saturday, our MK day, is going to be rainy. I just hope MK is doable with a little rain. We have ponchos and an umbrella. Maybe the rain will keep some people away. . .

I think MK is the most doable in the rain. There's plenty of cover and a lot of indoor attractions. Though the rain does tend to keep people away, so you might want a bit of it.

Thanks! You have been the best treasure trove of information, Shay! My last set of dirty dishes are in the dishwasher. The only dirty clothes in the house are on our bodies. . .the car is packed except for my contact solution and dh's toiletries. All I have to do now is wait. . .

My mother, sister in law and I enjoyed Lion King. My husband was ok with it but not thrilled. I don't need to sit through Pocahontas or Nemo and I know my husband sure doesn't want to. Perfect, that leaves Flights of Wonder for next time.
