...yesterday, I wasn't on the DIS, since I was running around doing a lot of errands - my youngest DS, Dylan, turned 16 yesterday!

DD & I went to see it on Wed. and we loved it. How wrong is it to lust after guys who are young enough to be your sons?

See, I wish I hadn't seen it--I feel like I wasted $50 at the movies. I find Kristin Stewart to be completely lacking in acting qualities. Did Stephenie Meyer plan for her to be in angst all the time? I think the books call for some of it, but Kristin Stewart seems like she just has a bad toothache. . . .there were 2 bright spots, though: the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and . . .

In other news, I do lust a little after Jake, which was my sole reason for going to the movie, anyway.

We're going to see Toy Story 3 today for may daugher's birthday, which was Wednesday.

My daughter and her boyfriend went to see the new Twilight movie yesterday for her b-day. They liked it. I'm still on the 1st book.

Ok, I've had my Subaru for 3 months now. It needs to go on a road trip. I'm trying to think where we should go. We could go to Baltimore, MD; Luray, Virginia; maybe I could see if a friend if we could come up to her place. Ok, friends, weigh in as to where we should go first. I want to do a day trip, we live near Harrisburg, PA and we don't want to do HersheyPark in Hershey, PA.

O-R-L-A-N-D-O. It will take you about 20 hours or so if you drive fast, and straight through That's a road trip! Some day we'll drive when we dont HAVE to bring the kids. but we haven't done it yet. Otherwise, have you driven up to the poconos? or Pine Creek Gorge- The Grand Canyon of PA? Beautiful... (esp in the autumn).

Happy B day to Kimmar's DS and Sadie's DD! Oh.. and to the USA too!!
I'm so excited.. we're off on MONDAY... I love when there's no Monday in the week. It just makes it better!

I love Baltimore, MD. Haven't been in years, but went with my parents once and had a blast, just enjoying the town, the seafood. Yum.

Today is my last day of work! I'm so excited, I made the decision to start my FMLA leave and I couldn't be happier about it. It's time. With any luck I'll get in a little relaxation before this kiddo comes, and get to spend some quality time with my DS as well. I'm really looking forward to doing some of the normal summer things that he and I do, like story hour at the library, little day trips, playdates. That'll be nice.

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, and everything looks good. BP was a little higher than normal, but not unusual for me, so that's okay. I was running around like crazy at work, so I wasn't surprised. Also, I'm already 1 cm! Who'd thunk it? I know you can hover around that for a while, but color me surprised.

It's getting closer! You made a good decision taking time off before the baby was born. The day I had Danny, I went to work that morning to get paperwork together--knowing I was in labor!

My family did the driving thing back when I was 9(thiscloseto10) and we all hated it. Someone els said about Pine Creek Gorge. We've already been to the Poconos. I've had a brainstorm though. We've never been to the Baltimore Zoo so I'll think we'll go there.

I'm laying in bed. Staring at the castle. Waiting for the fireworks to start. Yep, I'm bragging. But I know no one would appreciate the wonderfulness of it like you ladies. I think I better go make my fruit alcohol drink before the big booms begin. I'll post pics later for those not getting up to the minute posts from my Facebook page. I will never regret buying points at Bay Lake.
