I'm laying in bed. Staring at the castle. Waiting for the fireworks to start. Yep, I'm bragging. But I know no one would appreciate the wonderfulness of it like you ladies. I think I better go make my fruit alcohol drink before the big booms begin. I'll post pics later for those not getting up to the minute posts from my Facebook page. I will never regret buying points at Bay Lake.

....oh, believe me, I can very much appreciate your particular circumstance, but, why in bed?? ( unless, of course, you are not alone.... )

Because I could. And my little one hadn't taken a nap so I was trying to get her to rest before the fireworks. She is so excited about being here that I keep waiting for her head to explode. She's more excited than when we go to the parks.

If you can ever make it to the parks for the 4th, stay at a monorail resort to see the special fireworks. It was amazing and I know you can't see how massive the display is when standing in the park. They had a full panoramic view around the lake. We are talking about making this a yearly trip with our friends for her DD's birthday.

Wish I knew. I spent New Years at Epcot quite a few years back, but I've never seen the ones at MK. The points for BLT for those dates are astronomical. I don't want to give up all our little trips for one little trip on New Year's. But maybe one day.

Happy Monday! Hopefully most of you don't have to work today. I'd forgotten, until my DH reminded me yesterday, that he has the day off, so I'm excited that we'll get to have another family day before the "work week" starts for him.

Hi guys. My daughter is working so I have the opportunity to use her laptop again. I hope it doesn't cost much to have our computer looked at. We can't do anything with it.

Nope, not working today. I guess I shouldn't laugh, but better to laugh than cry. My husband has today off so that's nice. Looks like the car I bought needs a repair of about $500. It is something so odd that our Suburu guy had never seen it and had to contact another Suburu guy who had only seen it once before. The car and computer will wipe out my emergency fund. UGH Just our luck. Got to look at the positive side - good thing I had the fund. My husband can do many car repairs, but not this one. At least he was able to do all the brake work himself.

Mean Queen, that sounds awsome. I love fireworks.

SadieDog - I hope the repairs aren't too costly. That's nice your DH can do most of your car repairs. That must save you quite a bit.

TK - What a nice surprise to have your DH home an extra day. I hope you spent it well.

We just got home from our weekend trip. Even without going to a park, we had an amazing time. I can't wait to go back to Bay Lake.

I forgot to mention I got some great news while at Bay Lake. I paid for our upcoming surprise cruise with DVC points. DVC called this weekend and upgraded us and our friends traveling with us (on their points) to balcony rooms from a regular porthole. We had to hide our excitement since the kids still don't know about the cruise at all.

Hey ya'll. I just wanted to make sure that you all knew that free dinning has been extended until Dec. 21st. There are black out dates thrown in that you might have to work around. I just booked the Animal Kingdon lodge the week after Thanksgiving. With free dinning!!!!!!

Smileybug--I spent all morning on the phone getting my dates in there. We were going to just put off the trip, but that was not a problem--not with free dining. I dropped down to POP Century but upgraded to Deluxe dining. It saved me about $400.
